Description:

This is my first game ever - made for the Gamedev.tv Game Jam 2023. Hope you like it, even though the physics and attacking are a bit (hell, they're terrible) on the amateur side.

This took exactly 3 days of full work to do, a full weekend up until 1 in the morning trying to figure out how Unity works the first time after opening it, while strictly avoiding youtube tutorials and sticking to the documentation, something that destroyed my will to be awake for 3 days straight.

The game is based on a knight and his companion from another dimension named Skully, who is slower but has considerably high attack damage. They are both connected by an inter-dimensional link and share a health bar - if one dies, the other dies along with them. The objective of the game is to kill all the enemies without dying, and that's it. I tried to incorporate some sort of storyline earlier on and gave up due to the lack of time I had to learn the game engine.

I am 15 years old and saw this when scrolling bored through the series of game jams littering the itch.io page, when I saw this one was giving away a prized GameDev.tv course, which was not something I would care to pass up.

Enjoy the game!
