A restaurant sim where tools and ingredients swap roles with each other at the end of each day.

There's bit of a learning curve if you are unfamiliar with restaurant sims like Overcooked.

KEY MECHANIC: At the end of each day, the 'roles' of two random objects are swapped. For example, if the knife and lettuce are swapped, you will have to use the lettuce to chop ingredients, and you will have to start putting knives in people's sandwiches.

Controls:

Arrow keys or WASD - Move

SPACE or 'E' - Action (i.e. pick up, place, chop, etc.)

To chop, hold the 'Action' button while holding a knife.

To pour out coffee, hold the 'Action' button in front of a full coffee machine while holding an empty cup.

Recipes:

COFFEE - Cup, Brewed coffee bean (to brew coffee, place the coffee machine and insert coffee bean)

SALAD - Plate, Lettuce, Chopped tomato, Chopped cucumber

SMALL SALAD - Plate, Lettuce, Chopped cucumber

SANDWICH - Plate, Lettuce, Chopped tomato, Bread

Made for GMTK Game Jam 2023 with the theme 'Roles Reversed'.
Mac and Linux builds are untested.

Post jam update: small visual and quality of life adjustments. Added gamepad support.
