A knight with no war is... helpful?

Controls:

Keyboard: WASD to move, SPACE to jump, Left click to swing

Controller: Left thumbstick to move, bottom action to jump (PS: X, XBox: A), right button to swing (PS: R1, XBox: RT)

About development:

This is day 8 of my one-game-a-day challenge. Today, you are a knight helping the local townsfolk (3 in total) with their noble tasks.

This character controller may be the best I have made in a long time, with scheduled actions, coyote time, and acceleration-based movement. And super kudos to the asset pack artist! I highly recommend a controller.

This game does have slightly higher requirements than my other games because I wanted to take advantage of Godot 4's bloom and tonemapping with the vulkan backend.
