In the year 2084, Earth has become a thriving industrial world. Natural land is no more, the cities are bustling, and skyscrapers stand shoulder to shoulder in the smog filled streets. Earth has made a concerted effort to explore the greater reaches of space in hopes to find new planets to inhabit and new species to further their understanding of life.

In the interim, small space bodies have begun floating around Earth and are disrupting the government's intra-galactic research into finding suitable planets to inhabit. The D.S.S.R (Department of Solar System Research) has elected to send Jack Ironhard, now on his fourteenth mission into space, to destroy the threatening space bodies, thus clearing the way for larger scale operations.
