The stars twinkle in the night sky, as the sorcerer stairs out of his tower window. As he daydreams of his next evil plan, ( involving, a jester, a concerning amount of jam, and a particularly nasty potion) a light appears over the horizon, He doesn’t notice it until it is right outside his tower, with a start he looks down. There is a a person down there with a lantern. Is it a messenger form yet another king declaring war on him? He had no time to ponder, for the person had knocked on the door at the base of the tower. “Who is it?” He yelled down at the stranger. After a moment of silence the stranger replied in a small sounding voice “hello I am a young wizard, I would like to be your apprentice” “NO” shouted the sorcerer, As he slammed his window shut. ‘Stupid wizards’ he thought ‘why would he want to be MY apprentice?’ But the Idea grows on him ‘I could use an apprentice, he would be perfect for my risky plans’ deciding to give the lad a chance, he jumps from his “throne” and runs to the window, flings it open and yells “I’VE CHANGED MY MIND, COME BACK” all that he heard in return were the crickets chirping, the lantern was nowhere to be seen. ‘Well, so much for that.’ As he slumped back to his “throne” the trapdoor flung open, startling the sorcerer. And there he was the little wizard. As he came into the small room he was saying “You sure you don’t want an apprentice, It would be a good—” “YES” the sorcerer interrupted. For a second the short wizard stood still, than he leapt for joy. Bouncing around the room he cheers and chattered: ‘this a real cauldron’ ‘that’s a cool chair’ and ‘wow I can’t believe that I am finally an apprentice’

Just as the grumpy sorcerer was about shout at the little wizard, he knocked a glowing orb from a desk in the corner. It fell almost in slow motion, as the sorcerer watched in horror. It shattered. Just as the wizard was about to apologies, the room was blasted with blinding light, and they found themselves in the sorcerers dungeon…
