This is a small and simple dungeon crawler. The current version should not be too difficult to finish. You might need more than one try though. 

The first release was made for the "La Petite Mort" category (meaning it was built in 4 hours) of EctoComp 2023.  It is certainly much harder to beat than the newer version. But it is possible (with luck and cunning).

Help for interactive fiction novices

When you try to play Interactive Fiction (IF for short) for the first time, it can be frustrating if you don't know how it works. The key is: you write what you want your character to do in the game. Yes, your character can do a lot of different things (and that's one of the great traits of IF). Here is a very good and concise overview of the most important actions your character can do. And here are two short introductions: How to Play a Text Adventure Part 1 and Part 2.
