This is the full version of the game 'Bullsh*t pit', which was submitted in the GDS jam 2023.  The original game can be found here. This game has Czech and English localization.

What is the game about?

You are running for President of Callibristan and this is the last debate! You and your opponent will be asked questions about running the nation and also personal questions related to your political scandals. The aim of the game is to win the election, i.e. to get the most votes. However, the more you lie, the more your authenticity decreases.  If your authenticity drops too low, you might even be forced to leave the debate! 

Since you are a corrupt scumbag, you have prepared some deepfake compromising photos of the opposing candidate. You will have plenty of opportunity to show them during the debate. But beware! Think twice before using such a photo, because if it is not related to the actual topic of the debate, or if you have lied a lot, you might just compromise yourself instead of your opponent.

Every playthrough is different because the politician you play as and the opposing candidate are different every time! This means that the moderator will ask you different questions. 

How to play:

• Voters - The bar at the top of the screen shows the preferences of voters.
• Authenticity - The bar next to each candidate shows how authentic (truthful) they were during the debate.
• Cards - At the start of the debate, you are given four random cards, each of which depicts your opponent in a compromising manner. You may show one of these cards after your opponent answers a question. The card will either be approved (people believe it) or denied (people don't believe it). The deciding factor is your authenticity and the relevance of the card to the current topic of discussion.

Controls:

• Space - continue, skip card attack
• Enter, E - skip dialog
• ESC - pause game
• Sound controls are in the pause screen
• Hover over a candidate to view their details.
