Romp through the pages of a medieval illuminated manuscript in this platformer game created for Godot Wild Jam #64.

- Keyboard or gamepad is required (please click once with the mouse in-browser before playing)

- Full screen is recommended

- Keyboard controls:

    - WASD or arrow keys for movement and menu navigation

    - K for jump

    - J for attack

    - ESC or Backspace for Menu/Pause

Note: While you can reach the ending, please think of this more of an experimental proof-of-concept than a finished game. The platforming and combat are quite rough around the edges, and there are some bugs in the book pages UI. However, I hope it's playable enough to give an idea of platforming through a medieval book.

The game is primarily based on the art found in Arthurian Romances, a 13th-century illuminated manuscript digitized and made public by the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library.
