Something about this doesn't seem to be working right as html... so I've tried to provide binaries for all the systems.

I've removed the browser version after testing against a local server. I'll have to try on a different version of Godot to get that going I guess.

Confirmed to work on Windows and Ubuntu 22.04

Linux users: You will need to give executable permission to the .x86_64 file since I made the .zip on windows.

Mac Users: I don't have a developer Id, so I don't know if it's going to work for you. Fingers crossed...

This game was created for the 2024 KW MoLoGa Jam, with the theme "Re-imagined Classic" and is a tribute to a number of early forerunners of the video game world. It takes games like colossal cave adventure, rogue, nethack, wizardry, and asks "what would happen if your interface evolved over the course of the game?"

As it stands, it's a proof-of-concept. It's not particularly rogue-like (you can't die... yet) and the puzzles are very simple. It's probably in need of a solid spell checking/editing.

I'd have loved to get as far as some tile-based zelda-esq interaction, and even to venture into a 3d world with doom-like graphics, and then even more full-fledged 3d. Alas time was limited and that scope was just too ambitious.

Thanks to Saintly Audio for the sounds!

Everything else is my work on top of the shoulders of the Godot giants.
