Forge of War is a side-scroller tactical wargame. You play as a Dragon King who invades the neighbors to squeeze all the resources from them.

The game has five levels. Your castle is on the left end of the map, and your goal is to reach and destroy the knight’s castle on the right end.

You don’t directly control your army of little goblins. Instead, you can assist them by crushing the enemy from the sky, sending reinforcements and forging evil constructs.

You have two primary actions:

  1. Stomp

  1. Forge!

To activate each, click its button while it flies across the screen.

  • Stomp! When you stomp, you crush everything on the ground, deal large amounts of damage to units on both sides and shake the resources out of everything around.

  • Forge! When you activate forge, you send a wave of fire on petty creatures below, dealing damage to them and creating evil constructs with your magical breath.

Resources

When you stomp out resources from units, buildings and trees, you need to quickly click on them to collect them before they disappear from the screen.

Collected resources appear in the grid on the left side of the interface. The room in the stockpile is limited, and extra resources are wasted.

Reinforcement

You can spend gold from your stockpile to hire some goblins. To do so, click on a button with goblin or goblin archer.

Forging

You can drag collected resources back onto the level to use them in forging.

When your magical fire hits the resources on the ground, it bakes them into an evil construct. Resources hit by fire should match one of the forging recipes listed on the right side of the interface.

Good luck in conquering the world, and have fun!
