At a certain age, it's expected that everyone will go on an "adventure", traveling the country, meeting people, and learning about the world. Today is your birthday. You're of adventuring age, and your friends and family have gathered to wish you safe travels...

Suikomon is a fantasy RPG with "MSPaint-style" graphics (for lack of a better term; I did NOT actually use MSPaint; I would die). It's cute, silly, weird, and a little epic.

Suikomon is not done yet, but I'm releasing it at this stage of development because I'd love to get your feedback! Let me know what works for you, and what doesn't. There's a lot to discover in the game already!

Linux users: I have not actually tested that this game works on Linux. I'm hoping that the builder tool I used simply works >_> Let me know if this is not the case for you. (I have tested on Mac... sometimes... when I have access to one... it seems to work, but also let me know if that's not the case for you!)

The name "Suikomon" is a combination of Suikoden and Pokemon, two games you may or may not have heard of :P The party-collection aspects of Suikoden and Pokemon have always been very compelling to me, especially in Suikoden. I was also inspired by Ryuutama (the whole "everyone goes on an adventure once" concept), and the Sequelitis video on Zelda games ("players want to fight bosses, they want to be rewarded for their efforts, they WANT to enter a dungeon").
