This is my entry for the GMTK game jam 2019

Alien machines are invading the city ! You have one objective : Destroy as many as you can !

You play as a robot with only one means of attack : an electric spin jump, however its energy cost
is quite high and lasts only one second before needing to recharge, you are vulnerable during that time.


Controls Keyboard : Arrokeys Left/Right to move, Spacebar to jump

Controls Gamepad : D-Pad Left/Right to move, A button to jump


Controls Mobile Devices (web version only for now) :
First toggle "MobileMode" option on the main titlescreen, then use the arrow touchscreen buttons to move left/right, and the upwards arrow button to jump


Game made using the Godot 3.1 engine

Changelog v1.0

  • Menu system with explainations on how to play, credits, starting the game, and a toggle option for controls
  • Touchscreen controls for mobile devices, "toggle-able" on or off from the main menu
  • Added derivative music jingles, for menu loops, win condition, lose condition
  •  Added text to specify win or lose condition
  • Added cutscene for win condition for both stages


Scoring mechanics in V1.0 :


Each enemy type has their own points value upon destruction :


  •  Basic enemies are worth 10 points,
  • Shooting enemies are worth 50 points

When an enemy is destroyed a combo countdown window starts : 


  • If you only destroy one during this window, you get only the enemy's value added to your score
  • If you destroy multiple enemies, their added value is stored and is multiplied by the number of enemies destroyed during this window, when the combo window ends, the total value is aded to your score
