I've been playing a lot of fire emblem, so I thought it would be fun to see how close I could get to recreating the mechanics in three hours. The idea is that you are fighting through hoards of enemies to try to reach the teleporter on the other side that takes you to the next level (of course its a stretch to make that in so little time, so the next level is astonishingly similar to the current level..).

Made with Godot.  I wanted to do an html version but of course when I was trying to finish I hard coded some ui positions which means that it didn't look right in the browser. At least the downloads are small.

HOW TO PLAY

  • Click your units to select them, then click to move them.
  • If a unit is in range of an enemy, click the enemy to attack it (each unit has different ranges, but I didn't have time to add a range indicator...)
  • With the priest you can click on an in range ally to heal them instead.
  • You must press spacebar to end the turn, because once again I didn't get to add an end turn button.
