Become a hero on a quest for Jeweled MacGuffins, filled with simpleton gameplay, stock graphics, edited sprite work, and an oddly familiar story that doesn't seem much different from one you might vaguely remember.

(This is probably not a remake of Mystic Quest.)

Real-Talk Features

  • No attempts to be clever in terms of gameplay.
  • Poor (but totally working) attempts to keep puzzles as standard as possible.
  • No clever updates.
  • No try-hard areas.
  • No balancing.
  • Stunning RTP graphics!
  • A direct 1-to-1 philosophy.
  • Toggleable dialog between "Memes" and "Normal" - two completely different stories in one gameThe "Meme Story" is default.

The Inevitable Questions

1. Why did you make THIS game?
Because like everyone stuck at home during the COVID-19 quarantine, I had to find some hobby into which I could pour my time.  This game was made entirely during the pandemic.

2. Is this a remake? Seriously?  First of all, the title is different!  There's a colon in the title sometimes.  And, the hero in the image looks nothing like that other guy, because our guy has a pipe and mustache.  To top it off, all of the monsters are all significantly different.  Take a look at some of the totally original and certainly not ripped monsters you'll encounter.

3. Anything different?
Again, totally original.  I'm sure this won't remind you of a particular game.

4. Is this a remaster?
Anything I make can only ever be seriously considered an "unmaster" or a "demaster."

5. When will it be finished?
It is finished.  Download it and see.

6. Is there a better Q&A I can consult?
Maybe.  Hard to recall, though.  It might be in the files of the game somewhere, probably in a QA directory.

7. Is this for sale?
Nah, you can have it for free.

8. Why'd you pick pink for the sidebars?
All for the sake of subliminal messaging.

9. Will you update the game?
I would seriously not bank on that.  Maybe?  If there's something major.  Or minor.  Yeah, probably.
