Test your (retro!) piloting skills

Pilot a spaceship through 10 differing stages of randomly spawned asteroids. Easy to pickup, difficult to master,  every movement counts!

Most ships don't have any weapons, and a single hit from an asteroid is enough to cause most ships to explode. This game focuses on defensive flying, and risk / reward maneuvers for progression.

Some ships have you commit to your velocity when using a dodge-roll, or even basic movements, whereas others give you much better handling and maneuverability, every ship is unique.

------Featuring------

  • 3 difficulty options
  • 12 ships to choose from
  • Over 20 color palettes
  • 10 levels
  • Simple controls
  • Retro low-res pixel art
  • PDF Instruction booklet ( v1.6)
  • 5 track original soundtrack, including FLAC and mp3

-------Goals-------

Survive long enough to collect the blinking crates. Complete all 10 stages with every ship.

-------Instruction Booklet-------

It is currently only updated to v1.6 sadly, I may eventually redo it, but no promises.

-------Updates-------

Version 1.9.1.0 is now released!  I'm calling it "The Art Update", it will add a fair amount of polish all around. Be excited!

Version 2.0 ("The Story Mode Addition") development is on hold. I am considering separating it into a separate project due to difficulties adapting the current code structure. If I do separate the projects, all paid owners of Astrofield will get the new project for free.
