You are in the maze...

Find keys, find the door, outsmart the maze walkers...

Arrows to move, space to close your eyes, and s to set a waypoint, which also makes a noise the enemies will run too.

UPDATES:

Since the voting is now over, I was able to update the game with feedback I received during Scream Jam 2020. They are as follows:

1) Improved the sprite visuals via importing it more pixelated.

2) Made the enemies slower when they see you for balancing.

3) Added waypoints to stop the player getting completely lost.

4) Improved enemy AI.

5) Reduced background noise to help the player hear the enemies.

Leave some feedback in the comments!

Game Details:

All sounds and images where generated by me, with the exception of the player and enemy sprite sheets, which I downloaded from: https://krishna-palacio.itch.io/minifantasy-dungeon

Go check him out, super talented!

Big thanks for that Krishna Palacio, hope this counts as adequate credit!

The maze is procedurally generated and enemy and key locations are randomised each playthrough.

This game is about hearing where the enemies are and predicting their movement in order to make it through in one piece.

Its my first project in Godot, and my first time entering a Game Jam!

I plan on releasing this to android when Scream Jam 2020 is finished with.

Entry for scream jam 2020!
