Coglitch is currently a small proof of concept 2d pixel-art action / platformer / metroidvania.  So far, some foundational programming has been done in order to get a tech-demo level built, to allow for collaboration and feedback early in the process.

The game is built around several movement abilities that includes a jump, air-jump, dash, and hover.  The demo level features several different rooms that demonstrate some of the intended uses of these abilities.

There game also currently support projectile based combat, with an emitter that can be used as either auto-fire, or can be charged to power-up a single shot.  There are multiple projectile/weapon types, with different speeds,  ranges, damage, charge rates, etc.

The included enemies are fairly dumb and not a great representation of what I'm aiming for, but serve as filler so you've got something to shoot at, that shoots back.

Music and SFX were tossed together in an hour or so using Reason 11, but I think they're fun, so don't @ me ;)

I'm currently using the 16 x 16 industrial tileset by 0x72, but would love to eventually work up my own.  However the focus at the moment is gameplay, specifically platforming and combat.
