INTRO

My entry for the 3rd Wowie Game Jam.

The theme was: "FAILURE IS PROGRESS"

In converted that theme in a chess like game, but with a twist. You only win if you lose all of your pieces. So you need to think how you can be attacked by your opponent to let him take your pieces instead of the other way around :-).

And it has an extra rule: You have to attack a piece if you can!

STORY

You have died and want to go to heaven, but before you can ascend to paradise you must first get rid of your earthly demons.... When you are free of your demons, only then can you truly live peacefully in the afterlife.

HOW TO PLAY

Quite simply, select your piece and move it, but do keep in mind the following rules:

• Each piece can move a certain number of squares forward or sideways. 
• You must capture a piece if you can (mandatory). 
• And you cannot move through lava and water or through your own pieces.

Try to beat your own score (less turns is better) to lose all your demons!

PS: if the game hangs (no time to fix it) just restart in the main menu..(press escape)..did a minor bug fix after jam submit period that should help to enjoy the game some more.
