Abyss of the Void is a short sci-fi action-adventure game.

You wake up from your cryosleep in a transport cruiser that should have taken you to your new job in a remote mining colony.

However you look through the window and you see no signs of the colony. You're the only one awake and some of the other pods have failed or are about to.

Now you need to explore the ship and find out what happened. Your trusty cyberdeck will allow you to read datalogs with clues that will help you progress and overcome dangers.

Development status:

This is an almost finished release of the game. I may fix issues and make tweaks, but I don't plan to expand it with more maps.
When dying the current map will restart so not all progress is lost. However it has to be played in a single session as there is no saving to disk implemented.

The playing time length is about 30 minutes to 1+ hour for a first run depending on play style.

The current music tracks by OMS are nice but I may replace them for my own custom tracks. I'm not a musician but I will try to come up with some ambience drones to match the atmosphere.

Controls:

- WASD: Movement
- Space: Jump
- E: Interact and open doors
- Left Click: Shoot
- 1 to 5 or Mouse Wheel: Switch weapon
- Tab: Access cyberdeck computer
- Esc: Menu

V-Sync enabled is recommended.

Will work in Steam Decks (setting controller to WASD+Mouse).
