This is a game made for the Demake Jam.

This is a remake of Minecraft but in the style of an NES game. This took a little under a week to make.

Announcement

There have been many people requesting for new features and bug fixes. But, unfortunately, I will not and can not add any of them to this game. This is not an issue of losing access to the source code - I still have it stored in a separate file. The big issue is that the code is just simply bad (there is no other way of putting it). I do, however, have plans to rebuild this game into its own. All the features you suggest will be added in the new game.

Controls

Controllers are supported in the game and I would recommend using one as using the keyboard is a little finicky to use.

To start the game, press Y on the keyboard or the start/+ button on a controller.

Update 1.0.1:

• Zombies can no longer walk through walls and objects.
• Wheat was an unobtainable item. But now there's a 25% chance of getting Wheat Seeds from destroying grass.
