A small update for ArcRacer is now live! Logos for each team have been added, and are visible in the team guide entries. Some teams also have a bit of extra background information added in their entries. To get the full picture, of course, you will need to cross-reference with the historical timeline. You've been reading the timeline entries, haven't you? A few more statistics that have been tracked since game launch are now finally exposed in the Records menu, including global totals for said stats. This is more of a curiosity than a big feature update, but I hope you enjoy it all the same. Finally, I wish to share with you the somewhat unfortunate news that due to external factors, ArcRacer will not be receiving any significant content and feature updates for some time. This is not to say that no new features will ever be added, and bugfixes/community support will continue as normal. Thank you so much for playing ArcRacer!
This is a small update to address some input oversights and bugs.
- Broke out separate steering/pitch actions to let them be bound to truly anything.
- F11 actually toggles fullscreen now.
- And some other assorted glitches.
Another requested feature is here: ArcRacer now supports the full Steam Input API. Besides fixing some lingering input issues and irregularities, gamepad controls can be fully remapped! Steer with gyro controls if you so desire. Future updates will focus on improving the track editor, but if there's a missing feature you're dying to see in ArcRacer, share your thoughts! More tracks? A grand prix mode? [strike]Multiplayer?[/strike] The world is full of wonder.
