I don't want to repeat the full feature list, you can find it here. However, there are some minor additions to this version which were not specified in the previous Release Notes: 1. In the army Vs. army combat you now have three additional formations to help you gain some flexibility in combat.
- Shield Wall Formation (granted by Sumia in your palace): Units adjacent to each other take reduced damage.
- Flank Formation (granted by Dian in your palace): When an enemy unit is attacked from opposite sides, it takes increased damage.
- Berserk Damage Bonus A friendly unit attacking without adjacent allies gains an extra damage bonus.
- Heading North to Geoyanguk: Capturing this region unlocks Queen Xenenys powerful Fame bonuses. Extreme fame or infamy can significantly boost obedience or productivity across your fiefdoms.
- Advancing West to Tinpingia and Waikokipia: Securing these areas improves your armys mobility, enabling faster troop movements. This allows for more efficient control over obedience and minimizes the downtime when troops are away from your fiefdoms.
- Marching South to Hawatia and Limtinia: Bringing their queens into your council unlocks the Shield Wall and Flank formations, granting crucial tactical advantages in Army vs. Army MK2 combat.
In the story "How Much Land Does a Man Need?" by Tolstoy, a peasant's greed for more land leads to his demise, as he dies trying to claim more than he can use. When I approach the end of a version, I feel like Pahom, the storys protagonist: only Im not driven by greed, but by the desire to push more content into the version: Another scene. Another animation. Another dialog.
Anyway, content wise, the version is near complete. All dialogs, images and animations will be ready tomorrow. Whats left are the somewhat less shiny tasks of adding gallery scenes, music and lewd sounds in lewd scenes, proofreading, playtesting, reviewing the tutorial etc. Additionally, since we have added a Codex, codex entries need to be added as well (though this might wait for a later date).
As I have written in earlier posts, the quest in this version is about Karder who visits the Pirate Clans in order to secure their cooperation when the Khans navy crosses the Sea of Knives. Additionally well meet the Harsh Edge, his divine daughter and will reunite with his little sister, Alyn.
I may be able to squeeze in a lewd scene with pregnant Jada, but that may or may not happen.
But after finishing this version, Karder will be ready to cross the Sea of Knives. Its happening.
Looking at the new features, there are a lots of new surprises:
1. Codex. This is something which was requested many times in the past for various reasons, with the most popular being; how many children did Karder sire? And how do I know what bonus do my Council Wenches provide? So now the codex will provide statistics for this question, along with lore and information on all the Wenches, non-Wenches important characters, Deities, fiefdoms and more.
2. Threat Level and Covert Ops screen. Since the first days of the game, enemy fiefdoms attacks were always completely random. As of version 0.13 each fiefdom will be assigned a Threat Level (based on the ruling Wench) which will increase gradually. In order to mitigate the threat, youll be able to bribe enemy generals (with gold), execute a Preemptive Strike (spending troops from the main army) or declare Martial Law in your adjacent fiefdoms, thus forcing the enemy to cancel their raid plans but losing Morale (= productiveness) in your adjacent fiefdoms. In other words: the metagame will be less random, allowing you to plan your khagantes growth better.
3. MK2 Combat formations. The Army Vs. Army MK2 combat, where you fight in 3 Vs 3 against the enemy will become the default option (can be changed in the game settings). In order to make it more interesting, the following formations were added.
Berserk: if your unit (i.e. on screen soldier) is not adjacent to any other friendly unit, it does more damage.
Shield Wall: if your unit is adjacent to another friendly unit (not diagonally), it receives a defence bonus.
Flanking: if two of your units attack the same enemy unit, they receive a damage bonus.
Dont worry, Im not trying to compete with Total War, just make the army combat slightly more interesting and fun.
4. Nicer nodes on the minimap in quests. Unfortunately there is no new minimap in version 0.13 so youll have to replay a quest to see this.
5. Moving during a miniquest can now be controlled from the keyboard keys instead of clicking on the on-screen arrows.
6. Toggleable Incest. This is something I hear from time to time, some of you prefer not to have it in the game. Incest is now toggleable in the Fetish settings but the default is on.
That's it for now, now I'll go back to finish this adventure filled version. Ill publish an ETA by the end of the week. Lets fucking go!
Hi all!
Version 0.13 is going to be the last version before Karder crosses the Sea of Knives and reunites with Queen Remy. So in this version I'm trying to tie all manner of loose ends to make the reunion as exciting as possible: Karder is going to meet with Queen Remy's daughter Alyn, get to know The Harsh Edge (who, you'd be surprised, looks exactly like beautiful young woman) and in addition there's also a quest in the Pirate Clans, filled to the brim with alluring pirate ladies and many game related enhancements.
If this wasn't clear, version 0.13 is probably going to be the biggest version ever.
All this comes at a price: the version will not make it to September and will be released in late October/early November. I hate delaying a version and perhaps I should not have added a quest to this one (and simply focus on the meta story going), but I just couldn't refuse those hot pirate babes, and hopefully you'll fall in love with them like I did.
From a game enhancement perspective, 0.13 is also filled to the brim with new features, which will be detailed in a future post, but as a teaser, here are their names:
- Codex
- World Map Fiefdom Threat Level
- MK2 combat formations
- Toggleable Incest
- Improved minimap nodes
- Keyboard controlled Minimap
Last but not least, an original pirate-themed soundtrack. Let me know in the comments if you'd like some musical samples!
Stay tuned!
Version 0.13 is going great! So much content planned, it might be the biggest update yet. As you might have guessed, the new update will take Karder to the Pirate Clans. As many have you noticed, there are three unconquered fiefdoms left (Ganguk, Taishing and Cheunia) and since they are so small I can't think of any feasible scenario where they dare to defy Karder or pose any significant threat, hence they will be known collectively as the Pirate Clans.
Karder will visit the Pirate Clans to bargain for a safe passage over the Sea of Knives and go on a pirate themed adventure with no "Aaaarrrrgggghhhh!!" or "Matey" but a lot of other exciting shenanigans of the nautical criminal nature.
If you missed the tiny ladies, there's one coming up in the form of Ktani the halfling and her crow who loves shouting "cocksucker!" whenever it can. I will reveal the rest of the cast in the coming weeks, but trust me it's going to be hot. We're also working on many gameplay features such as a codex (including the number of bastards Karder sired), Threat Level indicator for the world map, allowing you to manage risks of raids, new music tracks of course and many more. Come visit me in Discord (https://discord.gg/zP5FH9x8hv), I post a lot of stuff there.
One feature that has been asked for many times in the past was to add a place where you'll be able to track the amount of children sired, as well as find information of all deities, fiefdoms, buildings, Karder's stats etc. So in version 0.13 we'll add Codex containing all the information specified above (let me know if you'd want anything not specified!) But I'm wondering where to put this Codex. From a more "realistic" approach, putting it in the palace would be the coolest. You go to the palace and you click a link, like going to the Dungeons or the palace yard. However, we could also make it always available from the left menu, so if you're in a middle of a quest and wish to remember who Chiroz is or if you're in the world map and would like to learn how buildings exactly work, it would be easier to have that info exactly where you are. So what do you think? Realism to Quality of Life? Have the codex accessible only from the palace or from everywhere? [olist]
Regardless of his land armies, if Karder wants to cross the the Sea Of Knives, he must neutralize the threat of the Iron Gale pirates, lead by their flamboyant yet deadly, arrogant and skilled queen Manwad. But what about her nickname? What would be the best nickname for such a lethal beauty?
[olist]
1. Improved the prison intro 2. Minor changes in the Help page 3. Improved the message when auto skipping 1:1 combat
Plot:
- A Journey of Karder and his fully grown elfkin daughter.
- Karder gets intimate with the goddess of love herself.
- A journey to Limtinia with queen Dian, where they'll encounter Sofia, the lighthouse keeper's wife. The world map changes after you complete this quest!
- Two non lewd meta story scenes
- Added animations to the Merchant Family, Lilan the Seamstress and many more early scenes! More early scenes will be animated in the coming months. Functionality:
- Narrative. Narrative is how Karder views the world and the source of his ambition. The Narrative is *only* used in certain conversations and is *never* a deciding factor on whether the player will have access to lewd scenes on any content. I created this mechanism so players could approach Karder in different ways and for me to be able to explore Karder's personality a little deeper than "mine! want it!".
- If Karder's Narrative is *Benign*, Karder sees his goal to become the Khan as an effort to prevent the chaos and bloodshed caused by the disintegration of the khaganate. He also remembers his late father fondly and has a softer attitude towards fatherhood.
- If Karder's Narrative is *Vengeful*, Karder is out to get what's his and woe to anyone who stands in his way. He was wronged, and he wants revenge. In Vengeful mood Karder sees his late father as a weak ruler and wishes to become his opposite. Narrative is governed by Fame. When Fame is high, the Narrative will automatically switch to benign and when it is very negative, it switches to Vengeful. Again: whichever Narrative the game is on, you can always still choose *any* path you want, Dominance or Seduction. If Karder is in a benign mood, some of his text will be displayed in *green*. If he is vengeful, some of his text will be displayed in *red*.
- Achievements: new achievements for all Fame levels, an achievement if you manage to achieve all Fame levels in one game aptly called Fickle and achievements if you use all Shadow Institute functions in all your fiefdoms.

On June 22nd, version 0.12 will be available on Steam. What's inside? Since I spoiled the details of this update a week ago, in this post I will only address a new feature called Narrative. In a nutshell, the Narrative is how Karder views the world and the source of his ambition. The Narrative is only used in certain conversations and is never a deciding factor on whether the player will have access to lewd scenes on any content. I created this mechanism so players could approach Karder in different ways and for me to be able to explore Karder's personality a little deeper than "mine! want it!".

Version 0.12 is coming in early-mid June. Let's see what's inside (warning, massive spoilers!)
- A Journey of Karder and his fully grown elfkin daughter.
- Karder gets intimate with the goddess of love herself.
- A journey to Limtinia with queen Dian, where they'll encounter Sofia, the lighthouse keeper's wife
- More meta story scenes
- I am aware of a gap between the quality of the rest of the game and the quality of the early scenes and I intend to address it: in version 0.12 I'll overhaul the lewd scenes of the encounter with the Merchant family and add animations, re-render mediocre images and more.
- More achievements!
Vae Victis - Khan will come to an end. I am not sure exactly when, but I believe Ill finish the game in about 2-3 updates. I wont reveal the end but I guarantee it will be satisfying, no cliffhangers or other nasty tricks. Which brings me to the question: whats next? I want to stay in the Twin Sisters continents for the next game. I have put a lot of effort into world building and I think it will be fun for me (and you) to explore it some more. What Im not currently sure about, is what exactly will the next project look like. I have three rough ideas which I will present below. While this is not a poll, I would still love to hear your opinions on these ideas.
- Vae Victis - Khan 2. This is the most straightforward option. In VVK1 Karder have beaten Queen Remys armies and have taken the throne but not the continent, but the rest of the Western Sister nations, whose armies are stronger, are still defiant, perhaps openly led by some Wakabian leader. This will have a structure similar to the current game, only you will have Queen Remy and Karders sisters at your custody.
- Older Karder. This will also have similar mechanisms as VVK1, but will be set in Karders future where, as an older Khan, he faces new challenges. Perhaps forces within the khaganate threaten to tear his lifes project apart or a new enemy emerges. The mood will be a bit darker and melancholy, as Karder reflects upon his life and perhaps strives to achieve one more great deed while he still can. While I have no intention to make Karder a fragile old man (he will always kick ass), he will also feel his age from time to time and his character will have a little more somber quality. Lewdness wise, it will have a strong, powerful zaddy Vs. young ladies vibe and probably less milfs.
- The AVN. The third option Im thinking of is the most different from the others. From a storytelling perspective, one of the main disadvantages of VVK1 is that the abundance of ladies makes it hard for me to tell a long story, with twists, slow burn and emotional engagement. Although I do think Karders lifestyle somewhat resembles Genghis Khans, it is still not a good platform for telling longer and more engaging stories. Hence Im thinking about an AVN set in the Twin Sisters continent, where the MC is not Karder. Im considering having a young veteran of Karders Reunification Wars. who returns to his village where his mother is now the village matriarch. Due to the war most of the men are gone and the village is populated mostly with women, including his matriarch mother, sisters and other potential love interests. Perhaps his father has also gone to fight and his whereabouts are unknown, adding a layer of tension to the atmosphere. This option benefits from the Twin Sisters lore but will have a more classic AVN build.
Version 0.12 is coming in early June. Here are some of the ladies you'll meet. Who is the one on the left?!
And one more thing: I'm a tiny indie developer. If you enjoy the game, your Review can help me get noticed by Steam's algorithm so I'd appreciate it if you could write one. Thanks!
Top tracks from the game Vae Victis - Khan as selected and remixed by the composer! Get it here.
Better handling of Achievements persistence.
1. Finally a Mac build 2. Typos fixed 3. Minor improvements in Nahir's Act 2
If you have played the game with your music volume up (as you should!), you have probably noticed the amazing, original tracks accompanying the game and providing part of its unique flavor. In a few days, I'm going to offer a collection of 20 of these amazing tracks, as curated by the composer, for you to purchase for $1.99. Stay tuned!
No new content, in 0.11.4 the Achievements were mistakenly shipped in unlocked state, in 0.11.4.1 they are locked.
A few days before the release I have decided to add a popular feature to the upcoming Steam release: Achievements.
In the coming days I'll release version 0.11.4 which has the Achievements feature, with over 40 achievements to gain, from simple "You have completed the quest" to more challenging like "Bully", choosing to act like a bully in all possible scenes, "Dungeon Master" if all the Wenches are in the dungeon and many more.
I'd like to thank everyone for your continued support. The game is coming to Steam on March 1st, please wishlist it and, if you wish to support me further, leave a nice review so the system promotes it. Thanks!
When the game will go live on Steam (Soon!), the released version will be 0.11. Meet the cast.
Short and sweet, foul mouthed and passionate; Yiniir is the best example that good things come in green packages. Coming to Steam soon.
In the next adventure, Karder comes across this feisty, loud mouthed, alluring goblin girl. After rendering a few images I began to develop a sneaking suspicion that she is a little too tall for a goblin girl, maybe I can get her a little shorter.
What do you all think? Is she the of the right height or should I make her shorter?
Enjoy sneak preview of the elf queen of Weguk. Coming soon.
Hi!
As you probably recall, in order to get a hold of a Harsh Edge, Karder will now need a Mothers' acolyte's... assistance. But what do The Mothers' priestesses and acolytes wear?
Help me decide!
I've enclosed some outfit options, please let me know in the comments below what do you think of them and which you'd like to see the most.
Please focus on the outfit only, the girl in the render is a model, not necessarily the one I'll eventually use (you may express your opinion on her in the comments though).

Guide Karder on his adventures to reclaim his throne. On his quests you will meet friends and foes, powerful beasts and sexy rulers. Dominate your defeated foes and decide whether you want to use them for your dark pleasures or seduce them to aid you with their skills and knowledge.
Each new release will include a new fiefdom to conquer, new ruler to defeat and abuse (or seduce and recruit) and a miniquest offering unique combats, unforgettable sexual encounters and fun puzzles.
Vae victis - khan offers the following features:
- Alluring rulers to defeat and decide their fate: whether to sexually abuse them in your dungeons or to recruit them to your council and eventually subdue them
- Quick and unique Rock, Scissors, Paper based one on one combat with some interesting twists such as aggressive or defensive attacks, subdue attacks for taking your (sexy) opponents unharmed and more.
- Fiefdom management aspect: increase your Troops and Gold reserves so you can wage wars on new fiefdoms but monitor your fiefdoms Morale and Obedience lest you lose them to rebellions.
- Miniquests for sabotaging enemy fiefdoms, obtaining powerful magical artifacts and more. Some characters you'll meet in those quests can be revisited later, allowing you to see how meeting you altered the course of their lives.
- Strong impregnation theme, most sexual encounters will elaborate on Karder's desire to dominate and breed his defeated opponents.
- As the game progresses, we release additional fiefdoms (and wenches) to conquer, elaborate on the back story and introduce additional features such as enhanced army combat and more.
