Change list
Action Cards renamed to Energy Cards
Hero Barks
- Heroes speak when being targeted, such as healing, inspiration and bless. - Day transition tips changed to be from the perspective of heroes.
UI changes
- Shared Opportunity shows next to target ally! - Misfortune now represent their difficulty by the icons on the top left of the card. - Confirmation dialogs improved for readability, added new one for wasteful assist. - Camp action particles animations improved. - Spite effect list improved. - better animation for sharing and selecting opportunities. - Tooltips updated for clarity.
Balance changes
- Mesa Mishap: changed to be an Injury choice, and moved to hard difficulty from normal. - Nourishing Dish: Increased cost from 23 to 24. Heal amount increased from 1 to 2. - Found Forage: Decreased cost from 23 to 22. - Safe Sands: Increased cost from 18 to 26, Orientation gained increased from 1 to 2.
bug fixes
- skip button now disabled on start of game. - spamming spacebar no longer able to skip sharing. - Fixed AI disregarding assists. - Fixed cards showing wrong deck origins for cards shared with non-hosts while resolving actions.
Discord
Discord rich presence is now showing when you play Azoove!
What's next
We're working on Controller support. While most players play with a mouse + keyboard, accessibility is important to us so we are making sure every controller can be mapped to play Azoove.

Hello adventurers! This is a quick update about upcoming changes to Azoove
Price adjustment
As mentioned in the Early access section, we have decided to adjust the price up to 15usd or equivalent in other currencies. This is to represent the major effort our artists and writers have out into the game, as well as reward early supporters like most of you reading this.
Upcoming features
The October update will be mostly polish and minor features. It will not change gameplay significantly. The November update will hopefully add additional replay value and other quality of life features.
Single player
What game makes single player after multiplayer? We do weird things here at Timeless Toucan. We want to make single player better, and will work on some of that for the rest of the year!

Mechanics and balance
Starting health for all heroes increased to 4. This allows 1 damage to not be immediately answered without severe punishment. Misfortunes may now contain Injury (choice) effects. A hero must volunteer to take the damage. With the automated ally, the human player gets to pick between them.
Misfortunes
12 new Misfortunes, adjustments and balance for many existing ones Also, rewritten ALL Misfortunes, so try reading them again (I know you stopped!)
Opportunities
Opportunities now have full art! They are also updated for balance and flavor text rewritten
Interface
Improved Lobby, making it clearer how to start a new match or join an existing one New camp action UI polished Added a few new tutorial-y alerts: Over-blessed, Choice Misfortunes
Preparation and Spite
Preparation no longer has increased health (since it is increased by default), now has starting inspiration, costs adjusted to add to 100. Spite levels swapped and replaced to create smoother, more interesting scaling.

Fixed some bugs causing soft-locks in multiplayer Fixed many visual issues

Opportunities
Opportunity decks used to be 20 pairs of common cards and 10 rare cards. Now, each Hero has 35 common cards and 15 unique cards that are only present in that hero's deck. An increase from 30 to 95 unique opportunity cards. Heroes now have colored icons, and their unique Opportunities display that icon in the top-right corner.
Spite
Spite 2: Changed from 3 useless Opportunities to "Gain 1 Stress when losing an Orientation you did not have" Spite 3: The Restless Rests Disaster changed to no longer give +1 Despair
Disasters
Sudden Sandstorm: Changed from 7 Stress to 6 Stress, -3 Orientation stays the same Flash Flood: changed from 2 Opportunities to 3

This patch has a few minor changes to improve some quality of life:
- When Opportunities resolve, both opportunities are shown in parallel and linger longer for better clarity - AI will no longer use ration decreasing Opportunities when at 0 rations, potentially ending a run - Fixed raycast issue making some areas of cards not clickable - Spite 4: Fear of Starvation no longer adds a despair on the last day, preventing a feel-bad moment of getting a rest day from having low rations despite having enough to reach Miz'rak - Hearts pulse when low health heartbeat sound is played - Tendrils indicating rest days pulse when about to rest - Sorting order of one of the food crates fixed to be inside the cart The next patch should include some balance tweaks, if you have any balance input let us know on the Discord
