Today's update includes one important bug fix:
The demo has been updated to keep up with the latest version of the main game. You can now play the demo on the Steam Deck! I will continue to update the demo regularly to ensure that it reflects the current state of the game. However, these updates will be less frequent than those for the main game, and they will not be announced unless there is a significant change in the demo.
Hey folks! Ad Fundum is finally playable on Steam Deck! It is currently in beta, so you may encounter some minor issues. However, based on the test results, it seems to be working fine. To play Ad Fundum on your Steam Deck, you need to join the open beta. To do so, select "Ad Fundum" from your library, then go to "Properties" > "Betas" > "Beta participation", and choose "Open Beta - Open beta for Steam Input Testing". Once I'm sure there are no issues with Steam Input, the game will be available to everyone. And if you join the beta, please let me know about any problems you encounter.
Hey, folks No patch notes for today, unfortunately, as I was trying to get Steam Input working for the entire day. It's now working in open beta, but there are a couple of catches: [olist]

Update 1.0.0c fixes all the bugs that have been reported to me (unless I have missed some messages. In this case, please let me know)
Another batch of bugs have been addressed: - Fixed an issue where the ground tiles in crystal caves went wild after an earthquake. - Cargo cleanse protocol now works correctly, for sure this time. - Disabled controls are no longer an issue when using the evacuation beacon from inventory.
Fixed a number of bugs:
Ad Fundum is just 24 hours away!

Hello everyone! I am excited to finally announce the release date for Ad Fundum on Steam - it will be available onJune 13th at 4 PM PDT! The wait is almost over, and there are only two weeks left until you can dig into the game! Get ready to uncover all the secrets that lie hidden beneath the surface! P.S. I will be releasing a small update to the demo tomorrow, fixing issues with the Chinese and Japanese localization. Hopefully, this will be the final update to the demo before the official release!

Bug fixes:
This is a small update, but it brings a couple of cool new features: 1. Added a new item - Reinforcement Beams. Use them to protect your mines from destruction and stones from falling on your mech during an earthquake. However, they will not save you from the earthquake itself! (thanks to the user Marker for the suggestion) 2. You can now buy or use items multiple times by holding down the relevant button. Bug Fixes: 1. Fixed a bug where the radio did not give you a hint about whether you were close to finding a new radio wave or not.
Great news for Mac users - Mac OS support will be available upon release, and now you can already play the demo on your machines! Update 1.2 also brings important changes and fixes: 1. Added short version of tutorial - now you can play the beginning of the game without those irritating messages from Prometheus! 2. Reworked New games settings menu - there is beauty in the simplicity... until you want to customize the difficulty! 3. Stonefall during earthquakes has been reworked - now the number of stones falling is more justified, but on average, it's higher than before. 4. Consumable items have been reworked - the maximum amount of extra fuel tanks and repair kits in the inventory has been limited. To expand the limits, you'll need to upgrade the maintenance station. Otherwise, with 100 Extra fuel tanks in the bank the game is too simple, right? P.S. You can turn those limits off in the New game settings. Balance changes: 1. The prices of Extra fuel tanks and Repair kit have been doubled, but their effects have also been doubled. This was done mainly to avoid having to press the item button a hundred of times to refuel or repair your mech in the middle and late game. Now, you will only need to press it 50 times. :) 2. The costs of Maintenance station upgrades have been increased to reflect their new effects. Bug fixes: 1. Fixed a bug where the mech would get stuck in the air after dying due to running out of fuel; 2. Fixed an issue with radiowave selector not working properlu; 3. Fixed a bug that caused vault compeltion trigger to be activated too eartly; 4. Fixed a bug where the player entered the shop long after pressing the corresponding button.

Bug fixes: Fixed a bug that caused the "Damage sources" setting to change from "Reduced amount" to "None" after loading the game on the Meditating difficulty preset; Falling from a great height near the left and right sides of the map now deals damage (thanks to the user Maximus for noticing); Empty spaces in the vault will are now displayed correctly on the minimap; Bug with mech upgrades resetting to default after loading save and game crashing after refuelling when you don't have enough money must be fixed by now. However, I was unable to reproduce both of these bugs on my end, so they may still persist (thanks to the users BraveKitten, Maximus and ShadowStepCat for reporting these bugs) Balance changes: Fuel consumption and maximum speed of Jet thrusters 1 and 2 have been increased slightly; Added a cash bonus for finding all the treasures; New resources added during map regeneration after an earthquake will now be scattered around the map rather than generated near the borders in huge clusters. Other changes: Nominal values related to fuel have been decreased by 10 times. This means that although the basic mech fuel tank now has a capacity of 50 L, fuel consumption has also been decreased 10-fold, and you have the same amount of time to mine as before the update. The fuel price has been increased accordingly. Overall, this does not change the balance; it simply makes values more realistic and more in line with the lore (thanks to the user SandBag for pointing out that fuel values are unrealistically high) Physics for the mech movement have been slightly changed to make the mech easier to control and slightly improve game's performance

Hotfix 1.0.7a fixed a couple of serious bugs in the settings menu: - Fixed a bug that was preventing interaction with the game using mouse after applying new settings (found thanks to user Pike) - Buttons "Turn on gamepad shake" and "Turn on radio sound" are now functioning correctly
Update 1.0.7 is a small, but important update, which has fixed a rather disappointing bug that caused infinite earthquakes on "Meditating" difficulty. Also, earthquakes are now a bit less random.
Dear Players, I regret to inform you that the release of Ad Fundum, originally scheduled for March 2024, has been postponed to Q2 2024. As the developer, I'm committed to delivering the best possible gaming experience, and unforeseen challenges have necessitated this delay. I estimate the new release date for the game to be in mid-April 2024. However, this is not the first time that I have evaluated the time required for finishing the game incorrectly. This is why the new release date is so uncertain. The specific release date will be announced 2-4 weeks prior to the release of the game. I apologize for any disappointment this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding. Rest assured, this extra time will be dedicated to ensuring the game meets and exceeds your expectations. Thank you for your continued support.
