My first ever game has officially launched and it's all about becoming a demonic fiend, slaying hordes of enemies, mutating, and evolving to survive the chaos.

FIENDRISE officially launches next week, on Thursday, April 17, 2025!
Take control of demonic warriors, unlock devastating mutations, and fight back against the human armies: mutate, evolve, and survive in this intense action-roguelike.
Here's a brief showcase of the Ravager, the final playable character in FIENDRISE: a mobile fiend with powerful melee abilities and a unique passive that grants permanent stat boosts over time. Its been a blast to play and test!
Aside from that, I've been finalizing the game: adding the final boss, reworking parts of the UI, implementing in-game achievements, attempting to add controller support, and of course, doing a lot of playtesting~
This is my first ever public game and a solo-developed project, so it's definitely been a journey over the past few months. But now it's time to get ready for release! I'm aiming to launch as soon as possible: stay tuned.
Today Im revealing the fourth and final stage of FIENDRISE; the Barrens: a harsh wasteland filled with the strongest enemies in the game, with each level featuring multiple bosses.
Im also introducing 2 new playable fiends, bringing the roster to 8 characters:
Twilight Reaper: a powerful summoner wielding a deadly mix of spells and minions.
Lively Tree: a resilient fiend that thrives on HP stacking to enhance its skillset.
The game is still on track for a March 2025 release. Im focusing on polishing and fixing technical issues and Im working to launch alongside an extra game mode: Arena Mode. Stay tuned!
Three new mutations added, bringing the total to 23!
Mutations are the automatic weapons in FIENDRISE, each one is unique and can evolve further by meeting specific conditions. One example is the new Alien Claw, which fires extra bubbles based on the player's defense!
Heres a quick rundown of the three new mutations:
Alien Claw: fires piercing bubbles that deal high damage. The damage scales with the player's attack, mutation level, and defense, enabling a hybrid tank playstyle.
Devil Eye: summons a minion every 8 seconds that fires piercing attacks at nearby enemies. The spawn rate and firepower of these summons can be increased, making for a true summoner-like playstyle.
Sbrongo: leaves a trail of poisonous bubbles. Its evolution unlocks a unique mechanic: poison damage that scales with the player's MAX HP!

The Jungle Stage is Almost Here!
The 3rd stage of FIENDRISE, the Jungle, is nearly complete! It features 6 new regular enemies, 1 rare mini-boss, and 3 stage bosses.
Today, Im revealing 3 of the new enemies:
Monk: A rare enemy that can dash to avoid attacks or close in on your fiend, healing a small amount in the process.
Shaman: An uncommon enemy with the ability to fire rotating fireballs.
Snake Saint: A rare enemy capable of summoning magic crystals that chase you in unpredictable paths.

Unlock more playable characters in The Fiendonomicon! Each fiend offers a unique playstyle with a passive ability and a set of 4 active skills. Whether you prefer an aggressive, defensive, passive, or active approach, mastering your fiend's strengths is key to progressing through the stages.
Each stage is randomly generated, offering new challenges every time. You'll find treasure chests, traps, powerful rewards guarded by enemies, and mysterious devices.
Each level up lets you choose 1 powerup from 3 options. Powerups come in two forms: Augmentations, which provide passive boosts, and Mutations, automatic weapons that trigger independently. Mix your fiend's abilities with different powerups to try new builds and wreak havoc.
