Greetings Terrarians!
Anybody feeling especially lucky this month? We sure hope so, because we have some fun stuff to share this month - and we are one month closer to getting this update into your hands. It is crazy to see that the first three months of 2025 have already flown by. We promise that there is a pretty cool update sitting in the pot of gold at the end of this very long rainbow. One upside is that the extended update timeline has given DR Studios the chance to dive into even more polish and improvements on things specific to Console and Mobile. We hope that love and care will come through to everyone when the time comes.
With that said, let's see what is in store for this month's State of the Game!
Greetings Terrarians!
Ah February, the month of love, or something like that? Well, we certainly love and appreciate each and every Terrarian out there, so let's go with it! Anyway, the team is whittling away at the remaining tickets in the system and making great headway down that road. We also have some fun new spoilers to showcase this month that we hope everyone will enjoy. Beyond that, we are really just hoping to be able to finally give a release window with some certainty sometime soon. We know that this update has taken a very long time and we appreciate your patience more than we can say. Please just hang in there with us a bit longer.
With that said, let's get right to it!
Greetings Terrarians!
2025 is here and we are here for it! Things are setting up for this to be quite the year for Terraria and Terrarians everywhere, and we hope that everyone is as excited as we are for what is to come. From the long-awaited update to (hopefully!) the release of crossplay to the release of Terraria: the Board Game and more - there will be lots to do and enjoy. Team Terraria is - as always - beyond appreciative of each of you that choose to continue along with us on our journey. So, let's settle in and learn a bit more about what this year has in store!
On with the show...

Greetings Terrarians!
A Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to each and every one of you from Team Terraria! We hope that everyone has found ample time to spend with family and friends during this time. That has been the focus of our team over the past couple of weeks - a good chance to rest and recharge for the push into what is to come in 2025. That said, we did take a few days away from the holiday celebrations for a quick playthrough on the new Skyblock seed. As with all of our playthroughs, shenanigans quickly followed: dev duels, Chippy vs Red for the CEO crown, even what has come to be known as "debug command battles" commenced over the course of the adventure. These are always not only a lot of fun, but also beyond useful in assisting with bug fixing and balance. We can't wait to see what you make of this seed when the update drops!
Let's see what is under the Terraria tree this year, shall we?
Greetings Terrarians!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! The Terraria team is certainly thankful for each and every one of you and your support for us over the years. We hope that as we enter the holiday season, you will have some time to rest, relax, and reconnect with family and friends. We are looking to get things all wrapped up for 2024 ourselves - it has certainly been a productive and unpredictable year. This month's State of the Game is a good one - with spoilers, updates on the future, some new product releases and more. You will definitely want to dive in and check it out.
With that said, let's get to it shall we?
Greetings Terrarians!
October is quite possibly our favorite month here on the Terraria team. We are big fans of the turn towards the Fall alongside all of the spooky happenings that come along with Halloween. Speaking of which, if you have any amazing Terraria-themed pumpkins, costumes, or anything similar that you put together for Halloween this year, we would love to see them - and maybe feature them in the community section next month! On the development side, the team is pushing hard towards the end of the year, checking off items on the team's collective list at a blistering pace. More on that later, but for now, let's see what treats the Terraria team has waiting for our amazing community this year!
All that said, let's see what's going on in the world of Terraria...
Greetings Terrarians!
Fall is almost here, and we can't wait. For several members of the team, this is their favorite time of the year - Halloween decorations are already starting to go up! Speaking of, we hope everyone is already coming up with ideas for cool Terraria pumpkin carvings, costumes, and art because we always love to see them. In the meantime, the teams remain hard at work on adding/tweaking/fixing content for Terraria 1.4.5. The finish line is starting to take shape, though we admittedly do have a couple of decent-sized ideas we want to discuss internally and decide if we should take those on before we can say for certain. How's that for vague? All that said, we are pretty excited for what is in Terraria 1.4.5 already, what we know is still to be added, and what may or may not be yet to come. Just a little while longer...
All that said, let's see what's going on in the world of Terraria...
Greetings Terrarians!
Back to school already? That may have set the record for the fastest-feeling Summer of all time. We hope everyone at least got a chance to grab some fun times with friends and family over the past few months - before we all plunge headlong into what Fall has in store. On the Terraria front, we are full speed ahead in the second half of the year, with development of 1.4.5 still going quite well (we are nearing the 50th beta of this dev cycle!). Each month sees the addition of even more cool stuff - we are particularly excited for what was added this month, though we are only going to spoil one of the more "shocking" tidbits for now. We know everyone wants that juicy release date still, but we are patiently working through our list of "to do's", and we do not want to ever cut any corners... so it will still be a bit longer, I'm afraid.
With that out of the way... let's take a look at a particularly intriguing State of the Game!
Greetings Terrarians!
What a ridiculously hot month July has been for pretty much everyone, and we are not just talking about the temperatures outside. Can you believe that it has been a year since the Great War of Axes & Trees? Of course, this year, it's been the the Terraria CEO Standoff - which way did you fall on how Terraria should be pronounced? What did you make of Temporary-CEO Chippy's ideas for the game? Anything there you'd like to see become a reality?
All that said, let's get into the latest and greatest of all things Terraria!
Greetings Terrarians!
June has been an exciting month, to be sure! Alongside the steady forward march of Terraria development, we saw the Terraria Board Game crowdfunding campaign go completely nuts and we also were able to finally reveal the special vanity set designed by a huge Terraria fan, Frank, via Make-A-Wish. Suffice to say, it was an eventful month - and July looks to be just as hot. Speaking of heat, it seems to be ridiculously hot everywhere this summer - so no better time to keep cool, stay inside, and start that next Terraria playthrough!
Now, let's dive into some refreshing Terraria news...
Terrarians! We have been hard at work filling all outstanding orders and preparing things for a couple big announcements. Let's not waste any time and get right to it!
Greetings Terrarians!
As you all know, we cannot say enough about how much we appreciate the members of our community. In addition, we have always tried our best to be a charity-minded company. With that as background, we are beyond thrilled to share that we are partnering with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to make a young Terrarian's wish come true!
Make-A-Wish New Jersey contacted us a few months ago to share that they had a huge Terraria fan whose biggest wish we could help make a reality. Of course, we jumped at the chance to make this happen and we were quickly introduced to Frank. Frank is a 17-year-old teenager from Rockaway, New Jersey who is battling a critical illness. Frank declared to Make-A-Wish New Jersey that his one true wish was to have his own Vanity Set in Terraria.
Since then, we have been working closely with Frank to bring this Vanity Set to life - from initial concepts to various iterations to adding flavor text and more, it has been a real honor and pleasure to work hand-in-hand with Frank to make his dream a reality. He is certainly a Terrarian, through and through!
With all that said, we are pleased to be able to reveal Frank's Vanity set, which will be coming everyone's way with the Terraria 1.4.5 update...
Greetings Terrarians!
Summer is finally here - well for some of us at least. We are greatly enjoying the warmer temperatures and the chance to get outside a lot more. Of course, development work remains at a steady pace as we draw ever-closer to Terraria 1.4.5. In the meantime, we hope that you enjoyed the 13th Anniversary celebration (and re-release of 1.1) earlier this month... and that you are looking forward to the upcoming board game as much as we are! 2024 is nearly half-done, and we are quite excited about what the rest of the year has in store for Terrarians everywhere.
With that out of the way, let's dip our toes into this month's pool of Terraria news!
Greeting Terrarians!
The moment you have all been waiting for is finally here! Were delighted to announce that official Terraria Board Game is now live on Kickstarter; find all of the details and join the campaign via the link below:

You heard right, everyone - Terraria has officially entered its teenage years. Don't worry, we promise that we won't be any more moody and rebellious than we always have been! This time of the year is always special to the Terraria development team. It is a time of celebration, but moreso a time of reflection: on the journey we have taken thus far, what is coming soon, and what may lie ahead beyond that horizon. It is humbling to know that our small team has been able to release and support a game as successful as Terraria for all these years.
Even more humbling is the unwavering support that each of you have shown us throughout those thirteen years. Through the ups and downs that game dev and even life has thrown at us - and all of you - your support has been the one constant that we know we can rely on each and every day. In fact. we appreciate you so much that we got YOU a birthday present...
Greetings Terrarians!
Spring is finally here - and with it, warmer weather, green plants, and colorful flowers. We noticed lots of speculation that spring would bring the release of 1.4.5 - sorry to say that those guesses were incorrect. The team still has quite a few things that we want to get to, and you never know what else might come up. Terraria development has always been sort of organic in that way. Rest assured that we share your desire to get this out just as soon as possible - but we have always stuck to the mantra that we will only put out an update when we feel it is fully complete and ready. So, hang with us just a bit longer, it should be well worth the wait!
That said, let's take a moment to meander through the garden of Terraria news and spoilers shall we?
We have heard the Terraria Community's cries to bring back the versions of Terraria from long long ago for many years now. Frankly, we appreciate the nostalgia as much as anyone, but to say that the daunting task of trying to remove 13 years of content from the game has held us back from doing so would be a massive understatement!
That being said, we are pleased to share with you all that starting today, the Terraria Undeluxe Edition is available for fans everywhere to enjoy!
Highlights of this massive downdate include:
Greetings Terrarians!
Another month has flown by - seriously, 2024 feels like it is moving along at warp speed. The development teams have continued to make great progress on Terraria 1.4.5, and we are back this month with some fresh spoilers that we hope everyone will enjoy. The team has recently been diving into some multiplayer testing that has triggered a few ideas within the team that we are planning to explore in the near future. Beyond that, we are seeing lots of good progress on the Board Game and Graphic Novel fronts. Really feels like as the weather is starting to heat up, so are all of the things in the world of Terraria. We may even have a little special something to share with everyone next week.
All that said and without further ado... let's get to it!
Greetings Terrarians!
We hope that 2024 has been treating you right so far. Terraria development progress has ramped back up quickly, with productivity improving by leaps and bounds. We certainly do not want to jump to any conclusions here, but we still maintain that 2024 may be the best year for Terraria yet! Yes indeed, the team has a real spring in their step you might say. Well, I suppose we should hop right to it and dive into this State of the Game, right? Otherwise, before you know it, spring will have sprung.
Let's jump right in head-first, shall we?
Greetings Terrarians!
We hope that everyone that was interested had a chance to pick up the Terraria x Makeship Hallowed Armor Plush late last year. Those should be shipping out just as soon as Makeship completes manufacturing, etc. In the meantime, we are pleased to reveal the second in our plush armor series with Makeship - Silver Armor!
The subject of Terraria's box/cover art for many years, Silver Armor has always been an iconic set - since the very early days of Terraria itself!
Casting a shimmer all around from the sun glinting off of its polished surfaces, Silver Armor is the best way to adventure in style early on in the world of Terraria!
Taken straight from the iconic Terraria cover art, the Terraria Silver Armor plush includes a Silver Pickaxe as well as a Silver Bow perfect for keeping enemies at bay as you delve deeper in search of ore and treasure. You can always strap the one you are not using to your back for safe keeping.
We think it looks pretty awesome - and we hope that you agree. To place your order or to find out more, click the banner/image above or the link below! We are already early in planning on what armor will be next... as well as other ideas.

2024 is here at last and we feel like it has the potential to be a huge one in the world of Terraria! Just looking at the existing plans for Terraria development on 1.4.5 and then looking one step beyond that into (hopefully) the world of Crossplay, this year has the potential to be the most impactful year for the game and community since the release of Journey's End. Of course, there is lots to do between where we are today and reaching that potential, but our team is fired up and ready to make it happen. We hope each of you enjoy following along with us this year and here's to making 2024 one of the best years for Terraria yet!
Let's get started, shall we?
Greetings, Terrarians!

Now, let's get to unwrapping those packages...
Greetings Terrarians!
Thanksgiving has come and gone, but our thankfulness for all of you - your support, passion for Terraria, and so much more - will never fade. As we look to close out yet another year of Terraria development, it is a great time for us to reflect on what has been a challenging, but productive 2023 thus far. Greetings Terrarians!
For a good while, we have seen what the good folks over at Makeship have been doing with plush for some of our favorite games (Spiffo from Project Zomboid) and our favorite creators (Khaios has done several). So, when they reached out to us to see if we might be interested in expanding the Terraria plush lineup in new directions, we thought it sounded like a great idea! Terraria is so full of items, monsters, and more that could make some amazing plushies.
What we have planned with Makeship is a series based upon some of the more popular armor sets in Terraria - starting today with the Hallowed Armor!
Crafted from the finest Hallowed Bars and the souls of vanquished mechanical monstrosities, Hallowed Armor protects the hero from all manner of evil that awaits in the world of Terraria!
Our Hallowed Armor plush comes complete with the legendary sword Excalibur as well as a Pickaxe Axe - the ideal tool for both delving deep underground and gathering wood. You can place one in the hands of the plush and strap the other to its back for safe keeping.
We think it looks pretty awesome - and we hope that you agree. Now, we need your support to be sure that our Hallowed friend (and future armor sets and more that we have planned) makes it all the way to production and beyond. To place your order or to find out more, click the banner/image above or the link below!
TERRARIA HALLOWED ARMOR PLUSH - ORDER NOW!
Greetings Terrarians!
Spooky season is finally upon us! We hope that your pumpkin carving, candy collecting, haunted house visiting, and trick or treat preparations have been going quite well. On our end, we have loved seeing the Halloween Contest entries coming in (over 300 entries and counting - you still have time to get your amazing Pumpkins, Costumes, and more in!) while we continue to work away on 1.4.5. We are also getting really excited to see some of the other Terraria things that will be coming out over the Holidays, such as the next wave of the Terraria Graphic Novel, new merch stuff, and more. It is also the time of the year where we really start to reflect on how much we appreciate each and every one of you and your support. We will say it again (probably more than once) - thank you so much for all that you do for us!
That said, let's go door to door for the latest Terraria treats - no tricks, we promise!
Trick or Terraria!? It is that time of year again! Happy Halloween fellow Terrarians!
We're pleased to announce that we are running another Halloween contest! This is a long-standing tradition in the Terraria community, and is one of our personal favorites.
Much like last year, not only will members of the Terraria Community Forums (TCF) be able to participate, we are also inviting participants from Twitter (X), Discord, Reddit and Steam! We want this contest to be a celebration of the entire Terraria Community, so whichever of the communities you are a part of, you'll have the opportunity to submit a spooky Halloween themed creation for this contest!
Continue reading for the details regarding submission, deadlines, and prizes!
You will have your choice of 5 categories to submit to. No matter what category, remember that this is a Terraria Halloween contest, so your entry should reflect both Terraria and Halloween.

Maybe, just possibly, another Terraria Halloween Contest (we are looking into if we can make this happen)? Count us all the way in! For now, though, let's not sleep on September, because plenty of fun and interesting things took place over the last month. From the rise of more cool Terraria merch to the ongoing development of 1.4.5 to the fall of Unity, September was a month to remember!
Enough with the small talk - let's check out all of the latest and greatest in regards to all things Terraria!
Greetings Terrarians!
Back to school time already? Whether you are already back, heading back, or glad to have school way back in your personal rear-view mirror; there is always time for the latest Terraria news! Our teams have been working feverishly all month, adding new goodies to the game and balancing and fixing what already exists. Beyond that, we saw three product launches in the month of August - busy times! You will definitely want to dive deep into this State of the Game, as there is a good bit of juicy and important information to cover. Fall is right around the corner, and it is one of our favorite times of the year. Who knows, maybe we will see a return of the always-popular Terraria Halloween Contest...
Without further ado, shall we get right into all things Terraria?
Greetings, Terrarians!
We are very excited to be able to at long last share a very unique partnership that has been in the works for some time now - Terraria x Madrinas! That's right, we have been working hand-in-hand with our good friends over at Madrinas to create some unique coffee flavors that we hope everyone will really enjoy! It has been a lot of fun trying out flavors and bouncing ideas off of each other, and we are pretty pleased with how it all turned out. Besides, who doesn't need some extra fuel for those late night (or early morning) Terraria sessions? That one more cave beckons!
If you are not familiar with Madrinas, they are a well-known coffee company focused on providing innovative new coffee flavors while using only all-natural ingredients. From Whole Bean to Cold Brew, they aim to have a coffee out there that is right for everyone.
All in all, we have two cool flavors to share with you here: one based on everyone's favorite 500 year old nature spirit, the Dryad - and the other seeks to answer the age old question of what exactly does a Pigron taste like? The team at Madrinas has also put together a really cool collector's box set that has both flavors and some other goodies as well. So without further ado, grab your favorite mug or shaker cup and let's dive in to Terraria x Madrinas!
[previewyoutube=2F4xs3bSSRo;full][/previewyoutube]
As always, simply click on a product image to head on over to purchase that item, and we have listed each of these in our very own Merchandise Hub at Terraria.org/Store.
TERRARIA x MADRINAS LIMITED EDITION COLLECTOR'S BOX SET
This is the cornerstone of the Madrinas x Terraria collaboration! Included in this amazing Box Set are both of the new coffee flavors: the Dryad's Wild Honey Cold Brew and Pigron's Maple Bacon Whole Bean. Inside the box you will also find a Terraria shaker bottle (perfect for mixing up that Wild Honey Cold Brew) and a Journey's End inspired koozie. This is the one to pick up if you want to give all of what Madrinas x Terraria has to offer a try! This will be a limited edition, so be sure that you get yours before it's too late.
DRYAD-INSPIRED: WILD HONEY COLD BREW
Direct from the jungles of Terraria, and blessed by the Dryad herself, the Madrinas x Terraria Wild Honey cold brew will keep you on your toes as you delve ever-deeper in search of the Jungle Temple or the beautiful-but-deadly Plantera. This perfect flavor pairing of honey and a hint of lavender will arrive ready-to-craft it at home in less than a minute! All you need is a shaker cup.

Greetings Terrarians!
Whew, what a month July has been! We saw the great Tree vs Axe War of the Terrarians take place on Terraria Community Forums as well as all over social media? Which side did you wind up supporting? The good news is that things are back to being nice and peaceful again with the leaders of each side reaching a spruce to end hostilities. The even better news is that we will all get to enjoy a couple of new items as a result! We cannot wait to share what we have in mind there when the time comes. Beyond that, we are hammering out the final bits and going through one of our first team Terraria playthroughs in quite a while. These are always fantastic to do near the end of update development for balance, QA, and even the occasional new idea. We know that everyone really wants a launch date window, but we still are not quite ready to share that at this time. Soon though, hopefully!
Let's dive headlong into July's happenings and hints of what is to come in August and beyond!
Greetings Terrarians!
We hope everyone is enjoying the summer months and getting some much-needed time in the sun. Don't worry, Terraria will be waiting for you when you come in from the heat! We are closing in on the last stages of 1.4.5 development, and we hope that we will be able to have the latest version of Terraria in everyone's hands soon. Beyond that, we have seen several cool things come out lately - from the new minifigures to the Terraria Board Game announcement - and we expect to have a few more fun bits to share in the coming months. We love seeing cool stuff get made that expands and expresses the world of Terraria in different ways, and we hope that you are as well.
With all that said, let's get in to the latest and greatest surrounding all things Terraria!
Greetings Terrarians!
Things are certainly heating up outside - but the team has been able to keep its cool by continuing to push ahead with Terraria 1.4.5! We have had some successful localization tests this month (more on that below), while our good friends at DR Studios released 1.4.4.9.2 and have been hard at work fixing a handful of bugs that have cropped up on Console. We have enjoyed watching your reactions to our two big reveals over the last two weeks - hopefully we will have more to come as the years moves on. For now, let's settle in, grab a cold drink, and catch up on the latest and greatest happenings in the world of Terraria!
Greetings Terrarians!
We are very excited to at long last be able to reveal that we are working with our good friends at Paper Fort Games on the official Terraria Board Game! As you can imagine, this is a huge project - and not one that we take lightly. This board game adaptation will expand the universe of Terraria by faithfully combining the digital games biome exploration, character progression, base building and epic combat with tabletop mechanisms - alongside a fresh new art style - to create a co-operative adventure that will resonate with both long-time fans and novice Terrarians!
"We are very excited to work with Re-Logic; as an indie design studio ourselves, we have deep respect for what such a small team have achieved, their commitment to making the best game possible and their dedication to the Terraria community. We cant wait to bring the world of Terraria to the tabletop!" - Paper Fort Games
Terraria: The board Game box art.
Dig, fight, explore and build in this co-operative tabletop adventure for 1-4 intrepid Terrarians!
Greetings Terrarians!
As you may recall, we teased the Terraria Chibichan minifigures in last month's State of the Game... and we said at the time that more information would be coming up in May. Well, we are very pleased to announce that the awesome first series of these minifigures are now available for preorder over on Terraria.shop! We have all of the juicy details below, so read on to learn more!
Greetings Terrarians!
Can we just say that we are always so excited when Spring finally arrives? Everything turning green, the temperature outside finally making it pleasant to get outdoors - new life springing up everywhere. Sort of how it has felt on the Terraria teams as well, with everyone finding their stride again as we push towards the completion of the 1.4.5 update. Even so, it is hard not to look beyond that into the work in front of us to try and make crossplay a reality (no promises!) and whatever else lies ahead. This is a really exciting time for our team, and we hope that all of you are ready to embark on the journey ahead alongside us. However, that's a story for another State of the Game.
For now, let's get rolling on the latest and greatest Terraria news!
Greetings Terrarians!
March already - Spring is nearly here! We will be glad for it and the chance to enjoy some warmer weather and the "greening up" of the outdoors. Fresh air is never a bad thing! It has been quite a challenging month for our entire team since the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Jason "Leinfors" Parker, at the end of February. The team has had a lot to sort through on this - but we are back up and running. It may still take some time to fully figure out the best ways of working moving forward, but we feel like we at least have a handle on things well enough to get 1.4.5 back on the road to completion. Thank you all again for your love and support, it means more than we can say.
Let's get into the latest then, shall we?
Greetings Terrarians!
Happy 2023 to you all - we hope it will be an amazing year for you and for Terraria! The team is back in action after a well-needed break over the month of December (which is why we had no State of the Game to provide for that month) - and work on Terraria 1.4.5 is in full swing. As you can imagine, most of the new stuff we have planned for this update is not quite ready to be shown. However, we have been able to provide a tidbit or two that we hope you will enjoy and that will increase your anticipation for this latest update. 2023 is going to be quite the year for Terraria, based on what is in our plans. Hopefully, it will go down as the year of Terraria Crossplay, amongst other things. As always, we enter this new year energized and empowered by your amazing support. We cannot wait until you can see what is in store.
Here's to another fantastic year of Terraria!
Greetings Terrarians!
Thanksgiving is here, and this is always a great time for our team to reflect on the earlier parts of the year as a reminder of just how blessed we are to have such amazing fans and for the opportunity to do what we do each and every day. This feeling is perhaps stronger this year than in the past, owing to the Labor of Love update - how it came about, how we built it, and your reactions since it was released. Starting 2022 with a Steam Award that you all voted to give us, being inspired by that to make a truly fan-focused update, and then interacting so much with the community to share ideas... what a year it has been! We know we say it all the time, but we are truly thankful for all of you out there. You make this fun and worthwhile, even after all this time. Heading into 2023, we are already looking forward to what Terraria 1.4.5 will have in store for everyone - and we hope you are as well. Enjoy the Holidays, Terrarians, and thank you so much for being who you are and for all of your support for our team!
Happy Holidays, Terrarians!
2022 has been a heck of a year in the world of Terraria. We started off the year with the fantastic news that you all had voted us the winners of the 2021 Labor of Love Steam Award, later to be recognized in amazing fashion with the Labor of Love update release on all platforms at once - a first for Terrarians! We also saw the release of the first four issues/Book One of the Terraria Graphic Novel series alongside a ton of other cool merch. Topping it off, we shared the news a bit ago that Terraria 1.4.5 is coming your way in 2023... hopefully with Crossplay to come sometime after that. As always, we are beyond thankful for the loyalty and support that you all have shown us over the years. We do not take it lightly, and we can only hope that you feel that we have and will continue to do that support justice.
All that said, the Holiday Season is indeed upon us - and coming with that is the usual Holiday Shopping season! We have really made concerted efforts over the past 3-4 years to build out a pretty extensive line of Terraria products and merchandise for fans to pick up and enjoy... or to give as gifts to the other Terrarians in their lives. There have been several new additions to those offerings this year, and we are going to reveal even more in this post - just in time for the Holidays. So, consider this your 2022 Terrarian Holiday Shopping Guide - and if you are so inclined, take a look at what all there is on offer and maybe pick up something cool for yourself or a loved one. Happy Holidays!
Greetings, Terrarians!
We are very happy to share that Terraria has made its way into the insanely good metroidvania hack-and-slash roguelite, Dead Cells! As always, we are thrilled to collaborate with our fellow top-notch indie developers out there.

Wait a second, we hear you saying... shouldn't a crossover have content on both sides? Why indeed it should! That's why we are revealing today that Terraria 1.4.5 - at least part of which will include Terraria x Dead Cells content - will be coming your way in 2023!
Work on this update will begin in earnest when the team starts work in the new year - and after all of the needed hotfixes for 1.4.4 are completed. What all will Terraria 1.4.5 contain? Well, you will just have to wait and see when the time comes.
We hope this will help to get everyone hyped for the end of the year and what is to come in 2023 (which will also hopefully be the year of Crossplay... cross your fingers)!
Stay tuned for more information in the weeks and months ahead!
Greetings Terrarians!
After a month off - I mean what would the "State of the Game" have been, "Labor of Love is out, go play it instead of reading this"? - we are back once again with the latest and greatest news from the world of Terraria. It has been a month of bug fixing for all of our teams and that work should continue for at least a bit longer. What's next after that? Well, we have already had a few meetings about Crossplay strategy... so that's a thing. Beyond that, you will have to wait and see what we might have in mind in regards to what direction our team decides to head. For now, let's head out for some spooktacular treats - and maybe only a few tricks. Happy Halloween!
Greetings, Terrarians!

The first video is out now, and shared below!
The other two videos will be released per the schedule shown below - and we will post them here to this thread as they come out, so that you can always check back here for the latest. We hope you enjoy this in-depth sneak peek into the next generation of building in Terraria!

Greetings Terrarians!
Alas, Summer is drawing to a close. Back to School, work, or just whatever your daily grind may be - we hope your Summer was a fun and relaxing one! As we head into the Fall - probably our favorite season - the development teams are making huge strides towards getting the Labor of Love update into your hands. This is a State of the Game that you will not want to miss, because we are at long last going to be able to dive into some details around the launch of this fantastic Terraria update. So, sit down, buckle up, and let's get this month's SOTG underway!
Greetings, Terrarians!
The day is finally here - orders for the first Issue of Book One of the Terraria Graphic Novel Series are now open! In case you missed our earlier announcement about the series as a whole, you can check out those details HERE. The team at Re-Logic in conjunction with our partners at 50 Amp Productions is very excited to be able to roll out the first part of Book One at long last to all of you. The 50 Amp team has also gone above and beyond the Graphic Novel itself and put together a few additional collectibles that fans can pick up as well should you feel so inclined.
With all that said, let's dive right in to how it will all work, what is available and when, etc. shall we?
Overall, the plan is to roll out Issues 1-4 (Book One) over the next few months, followed by a full Book One release to book sellers/retailers as well as available online some time in Q1 2023. Book One will contain all of the first four issues along with a few other goodies (still TBD, but think concept art and other "making of" work, stuff like that). All orders can be placed on the 50 Amp Productions Website - click the cover above to check it out!

Issue One orders start today, but here is the overall expected timeline:
Greetings Terrarians!
Summer is nearly over already?! My how the time flies when you are having fun - which we certainly hope has been the case for all of you out there! We have been having a TON of fun during the development of the Labor of Love update. Reading fan ideas, brainstorming other cool new stuff internally, seeing where the creativity takes us: it has been a real blast. That said, we can definitely see the light at the end of the tunnel. So, let's dive right into the late-summer State of the Game news shall we?
Greetings Terrarians!
We are beyond thrilled to be able to at long last reveal a project that has been going on behind the scenes for quite some time - the Terraria Graphic Novel series! We here at Re-Logic have been working closely with our partners at 50 Amp Productions on all aspects of the graphic novels - from script to lineart to coloring and more, we really feel like these are a perfect balance between staying authentic to the Terraria experience while taking enough creative license to be able to craft an engaging story within the Terraria universe.
We are nearly finished with Book One in the series, and we wanted to give you a sneak peek (well... beyond the one we gave you in June's State of the Game) at what is to come. Each Book will contain four parts... and this is the cover art for Terraria - Book One, Issue One.
(Cover art is final, but the team is working on a new custom logo for this series - so the Terraria Logo here is just a WIP/Placeholder using our in-game logo)
Outside of working on Terraria itself, this is maybe the most excited we have been for any project we have been involved with thus far. We have high hopes and big plans here, should these do well enough and meet with the approval of the Terraria Community.
The rollout plan is still under discussion, and we will have more details on that very soon. However, we can share that the current plan is to make Issues 1-4 available as standalone items (both with and without some other really cool collectibles that we are developing as a part of the package) starting in Q3 of this year and continuing through the end of 2022. We will then have the entire Book One available as a completed piece along with some special additions in early 2023. We would then begin work on Book Two and so on.
Now, of course, we will always maintain that the Terraria story is as open ended as the players themselves - so view this as just one possible take of the limitless stories that could be told about the who, what, and why behind what happens in the world of Terraria. That said, we think it is a pretty good one - and one that we are hoping and looking to expand upon in future books in the series. How far we will be able to go here, of course, depends on your support! The more successful these are or become, the further we can take the story... and who knows, maybe we could one day explore having these adapted as a streaming series or more.
We hope you are all as excited as we are about Terraria finally getting the legit Graphic Novel treatment and are intrigued to see the story thus far... and where it might take us all.
Cheers!
Greetings Terrarians!
We don't know about you, but the heat this summer has been brutal so far to us! Sounds like a good excuse to grab some gaming time and catch up on the latest and greatest Terraria news, right? Development work on the Labor of Love update is in full swing across both the Re-Logic and DR Studios teams - and we are really excited for some of the juicy spoilers that we have in store for you this month (on top of those we have already shared this month in case you missed them on our socials). That said, grab a cold beverage, cool off, and settle in for this month's State of the Game!
Greetings Terrarians!
May? It is seriously the end of May already? 2022 is certainly on an express train in terms of how fast time is flying by! That said, we hope you are as ready for Summer as we are... and it is shaping up to be an action-packed Summer indeed! What all do we have in store? Well, time will tell - but let's kick things off the right way with our final State of the Game update before Summer 2022 is here in earnest!
11 years ago, Terraria was shared with the world for the first time, and 11 years later, Terraria remains our Labor of Love a game that is like a child to us. We have enjoyed watching Terraria evolve and grow over the years and equally continue to enjoy the outpouring of support from all of you. Thank you all so very much!
We look forward to continuing the Terraria journey with you for many more years to come be it on Terraria or other games in the franchise.
In celebration of Terrarias 11th Anniversary, we are proud to introduce the latest addition to our Pet License roster: Town Slimes! This cast of characters is packed with personality and players will get the chance to have one Town Slime move into their towns when the Labor of Love update comes out later this year.
Greetings Terrarians!
You know what they say... April showers bring Terraria news! Or something like that anyway. It is quite an exciting time in the world of Terraria right now, with all sorts of fantastic news happening as we speak - and with plenty more to come as the year moves on. Let's not waste any more time and instead spring right into the latest and greatest surrounding all things Terraria!
Greetings Terrarians!
March already... well almost April really?! 2022 is flying by - but we are sure glad to see Spring starting to come into full bloom and with it, a lot of the plans we have been discussing in earlier States of the Game are close to coming to fruition! 1.4.3 for Consoles and Mobile (parity... at least for a time!) is right around the corner, Labor of Love draws ever-closer, and we have a lot of exciting things to come on the community and merch fronts as well. So much has already happened this year, but we are just getting warmed up.
Let's see what is in store shall we?
Greetings Terrarians!
The Terraria Wiki has been a valuable resource to players everywhere over the nearly 11 years(!) of Terraria's history. With so much content to explore, having such a comprehensive summary of everything at your fingertips is simply fantastic. The Wiki has undergone quite a few changes over the years from its beginnings alongside Terraria Online all the way to the current iteration run by Fandom. Throughout that time, we have been so fortunate to work with a lot of awesome partners in order to evolve and maintain a strong wiki for our fans.
The time has come for the next step on the Terraria Wiki evolutionary journey! Starting today, Re-Logic is proud to announce that we are launching a new location and partner for the Official Terraria Wiki!
Moving forward, we will be partnering with the good folks at Freedom Games as one of the first games in their newly-launched wiki network. The new URL will be terraria.wiki.gg - and you can click on the image above to head there now!
We are making this move primarily to be able to have greater creative control over the appearance, ad content, etc. of the wiki in order to bring things together in a more consistent way for the long term. As in the past, Re-Logic receives nothing (revenue, etc) from the wiki - our involvement here is strictly to maximize the experience for the Terraria fans.
Why these folks in particular? Well, at a high level, these were the actual individuals whom were responsible (with a lot of community help, of course!!!) for building the amazing wiki that we have had over the years. For example, many of you may know or recall ReedemtheD3ad! from the Gamepedia wiki days. He is on point to help run this new wiki effort with Freedom Games, so we feel like things are in good hands here!
The Fandom wiki will remain in place as a second unofficial Wiki, and on speaking to them, it is their intent to keep it up and fully operational.
So what does this mean for you, the player?
WHAT'S DIFFERENT?
Greetings Terrarians!
In case you missed it, 2022 is certainly turning into a lovely year for Terraria! From starting the year with a pair of awards to last month's reveal of the big "parity" update for Console & Mobile Terrarians to this month's surprise sneak peek into the upcoming - and aptly named - Labor of Love Update for Terraria, how can you not love all that is going on in the world of Terraria right now? Of course, we couldn't do any of this without the love and support that you show us each and every day. So thank you, once again and we love you all!
Now... on with the show!
Greetings Terrarians!
As we have mentioned over the past few months, the team has been hard at work on an update to further optimize Terraria for Steam Deck play - inclusive of performance and controls. With the Steam Deck officially shipping out to players starting today, we are pleased to be able to push this update out to everyone just in time! For Terrarians that are not playing on Steam Deck at this time, dont fret, as we have some quality of life, balance, and bug fixes for you as well. Without further ado, let's dive right in!
Please note that this update also includes an update to the Terraria Dedicated Server application. You can always find the latest version of this at the bottom of Terraria.org, but we have included a link below for today's version as well:
TERRARIA DEDICATED SERVER APPLICATION (1.4.3.4)
LATEST LOCALIZATION FILES FOR LANGUAGE PACKS (1.4.3.4)
Happy Monday, Terrarians!
Our good friend Chippy is getting ever so close to the one million subscribers mark (only 22k remaining - if you have not subscribed to this amazing channel yet, what are you waiting for?!)... and in celebration of that and his constant positive impact on the community, we worked with him to put together the little video below. This is definitely something that you will want to check out, trust us.
[previewyoutube=f54-UKvcGVs;full][/previewyoutube]
Greetings Terrarians!
We missed you over the holiday break - between all of the usual family and friends, running around, and with more or less all of the pertinent news items being covered off at the end of November, we decided to push off the State of the Game and just move on into the new year. So here we are, 2022 has kicked off with a bang. Week one saw Terraria winning the 2022 Labor of Love Steam Award as well as the launch of Journey's End on Nintendo Switch. Week two saw the re-imagined China Mobile version of Terraria winning TapTap's 2021 Game of the Year. Behind the scenes, things have been equally busy, with each development team hard at work on what is to come later this year. What all does that entail, you say? Let's get into the details!
Happy New Year!
What else can we say but wow. Just wow, Terrarians. You are all simply amazing and it is so humbling to finally be able to pull down the win here - and against rather stiff competition.
We know it is 100% due to your loyal support of our team and game over the years, and it is truly a pleasure to be able to work on an amazing game such as Terraria and then to share it with all of you.
Terraria truly is a Labor of Love for our team - like a family member to us - and to see it gain recognition such as this means more than we can say. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much to each and every fan out there and for each and every vote.
It has been and remains our honor to deliver the Terraria experience to you. We look forward to an even brighter future ahead - with Steam Deck optimizations, content parity for all platforms, and (hopefully, fingers crossed!) crossplay later this year. Journey's End may have arrived, but it sure feels like just the beginning to us.
Beyond that, well, time will tell as they say, right?

Good Afternoon, Terrarians!
Just wanted to share a quick update on stuff the team has been doing. As we mentioned before, we are doing some Steam Deck optimization-focused stuff, and that work is going quite well...

Fall is nearly upon us, as 2021 turns towards its latter stages. We have always figured that the final few months of this year would be an intense and fantastic time for Terraria and Terrarians, and the reality is lining up with that quite well. From Xbox/PlayStation getting Journey's End in a week to ongoing work on Switch to a wide array of new merchandise items and much more - 2021 may be winding down, but Terraria is just getting started! We have a ton to go over this month, so let's jump right in!
Greetings Terrarians!
It's back to school time for those of you still in school - and for everyone else, its the dog days of Summer as we look forward to cooler temperatures of what will hopefully be an amazing Fall season. One thing we know for certain is that the last few months of 2021 will see a lot of exciting happenings for Terraria! We have lots of juicy news across the board this month, so let's not waste any more time chatting!
Greetings Terrarians!
We wanted to share the awesome news that the first three Collectible Terraria figures that we have teased in past State of the Game posts are now available for preorder! These amazing pieces were developed by our partners at Skyland Arts, and are the first in what we hope will be several waves of figures that Terraria fans will love to get their hands on!
Skyland does not have its own digital storefront, so they have decided to utilize Kickstarter as their preorder method. The up-front expenses have been paid, the tooling of the steel production molds has already begun, and the factory is ready to produce the figures. This pre-order campaign helps Skyland to judge how many of each figure to produce and ensures that every Terrarian gets the one that they want most!
Without further ado, let's check out the lineup for this first wave of Terraria figures!

Greetings, Terrarians! Terraria 1.4.1 releases today for our PC players!
Welcome to launch day for Terraria 1.4.1 on PC! As we have alluded to in previous news items and spoilers around this update, Terraria 1.4.1 is primarily focused on adding in pieces that were not quite ready in time for the Journey's End launch date - along with more fixes, balance tweaks, and a few new tidbits that we decided to add along the way. Located below, you will find the full changelog for Terraria 1.4.1
A SUMMARY OF TERRARIA 1.4.1(OFFICIAL CHANGELOG)
So, what all does Terraria 1.4.1 contain? Here are some of the bigger topline tidbits of note - but again, refer to the full changelog for a more complete accounting of things.
Happy Launch Day, Terrarians... and welcome to Journey's End!
This update has been a labor of love, tirelessly worked on by our team over a good while, and we truly feel that it brings Terraria to the next level, to a place where the core game can finally be called "complete". From new ways to play the game to over 1000 new items to find and craft to new bosses to challenge and even a full-pass review of all content of the game for balance, graphic quality, and mechanics - truly, Journey's End has something for everyone. We cannot wait to see your reactions as you dive in to all that this update has to offer, and we hope that you thoroughly enjoy our gift to you. It has been an amazing journey indeed... but we truly feel that this end is really just a new beginning for the amazing world of Terraria.
So, what awaits you in Journey's End? In case you missed our advance Terraria: Journey's End Changelog post last Thursday, we have linked it below for your reading pleasure. Also located in today's post are where and how to report bugs as well as other important information that you may find interesting.
Greetings from the last stop before the plunge that is Terraria: Journey's End - the launch weekend!
We sincerely hope that you have enjoyed our series of Feature Articles over the past 2-3 weeks. We have certainly had a lot of fun introducing you to much (but most definitely not all!) of what Journey's End brings to the game. If you missed any of those, check them out at the bottom of this post.
JOURNEY'S END LAUNCH WEEKEND CELEBRATION
With that now behind us, we have quite the lineup of fun and interactive community events ahead over the next several days. Let's dive into that schedule so that you can mark your calendars appropriately - this is not something you will want to miss!!!!
THURSDAY, MAY 14TH
Enjoy an advance copy of the Terraria: Journey's End Summary & Changelog - see what lies down the path to Journey's End!
Greetings, Terrarians!
The massive and highly-anticipated Journey's End update for Terraria is nearly here... only 10 days to go!
Today's Feature Article is one that we have been looking forward to for quite some time, as we will be giving you a first glimpse into the brand new Journey Mode. The goal of Journey Mode is to provide a more accessible experience by providing the player unprecedented control over the gameplay experience. A way to bring in all players of various skill levels and to be able to customize your experience to optimize the fun you have in game. This is not Creative Mode, this is a whole new way to experience Terraria - and one we feel represents the ultimate evolution of being able to play your Terraria any way that you want.
What does all of this mean? How does it all work? Let's dive into just the high level here... but if you want the full details, complete with a lot of fun images, check out the announcement thread over on TCF, linked below:
JOURNEY MODE FEATURE ARTICLE ON TERRARIA COMMUNITY FORUMS
----
For starters, the only rule of Journey Mode is that Journey Mode Characters can only play on Journey Mode Worlds and vice versa - no exceptions!
Greetings, Terrarians!
We are just shy of three weeks out from the highly-anticipated release of Terraria: Journey's End, and we know that as the anticipation builds, so will the excitement! Well, allow us to add more fuel to that fire with the official announcement that the long-standing "Terraria mod to make and play mods", tModLoader will be coming to Steam on May 16th as a free DLC for Terraria alongside Journey's End!
Though fully-integrated official mod support is not something that is feasible within the Terraria codebase, tModLoader has served faithfully as that "bridge" between the main game and the amazing library of player-created mods that exists for Terraria. With this launch, modding has never been more visible or accessible for Terrarians - so, if you have not ever tried out modded Terraria, there is no time like the present!
The launch version of TML for Steam will be based on the 1.3.5 version of the game - as will all of the currently-available mods out there. This will allow for players to continue to enjoy modded Terraria uninterrupted while they can also separately dive into all that Journey's End/1.4 has to offer on the vanilla side of the fence. The TML Team will be working diligently to get a 1.4-tier TML out as quickly as possible on Steam so that, as mods are updated to the 1.4 standard, support for them will already be available.
First of all, a big thank you to everyone that entered our Journey's End Vanity Contest! We were blown away by both the sheer volume (THOUSANDS  ) and the overwhelming quality of what you all produced. Simply stunning, but not really surprising, because we know how awesomely creative you all are, right? :) Seriously, if you have not checked out the awesomeness that is the Submissions Thread... you really should do so right now! (https://forums.terraria.org/index.php?threads/journeys-end-vanity-contest-submission-thread.86457/) The Re-Logic team has at long last completed the arduous task of going over every entry (yes, we did look at every. single. one.), and we are ready to reveal our choices for the 25 Journey's End Vanity Contest Finalists! Our criteria were focused on how cool we found the concept, how well we felt it could be executed on by our team, and how well we felt it would fit into Terraria. Note that for some concepts, multiple people may have had a similar idea. For these, the idea that best communicated the concept and/or stood out as being the most unique to the team was selected. You will find these detailed entries over at Terraria Community Forums > https://forums.terraria.org/index.php?threads/journeys-end-vanity-contest-finalists-voting-instructions.87511/
Greetings Terrarians!
We mentioned last week over on the Terraria Community Forums that, given the tough situations that we are all facing in the world right now, we are pushing harder than ever to get Journey's End out to you as soon as possible.
Well, today we are here to share a little bit more detail behind those plans, and what better way to do that than to share with you our planned launch date...
Greetings Terrarians! We wanted to take a moment out of our final push to complete the eagerly-anticipated Journey's End update and celebrate a little something with our loyal and awesome community.
Greetings Terrarians! The development team at Re-Logic were having a chat the other day about just how creative the Terraria community is - from art to music to in-game creations, you all are simply amazing. That got us to thinking... what better way to reward that creativity in the final Journey's End update than to give all of you creative geniuses a once-in-a-lifetime chance to get your very own vanity armor design into the game itself? That's right - we are giving everyone a chance to submit their own original ideas for Terraria Vanity Armor/Outfits (Head/Torso/Legs), and the winners will see their ideas make it into the game for the Journey's End update! This is your chance to design your own brand new vanity outfit that you'd like to see added to the game! This is sort of like finding that golden ticket and getting to visit the chocolate factory, except there is no tour and no lifetime supply of chocolate... only fame and glory and bragging rights forever listed in one of the best video games ever crafted. As you might imagine, there are some rules and guidelines and such that are important for you to follow - however, inside of these guidelines, have at it! Anything your minds can dream up, we want to hear about it! You can also check out the Contest Submission Thread to see current submissions!
Re-Logic and our development partners at 505 Games (publishers of Terraria on non-PC platforms) are kicking off what will be a weekly Official Terraria Livestream series starting tomorrow! Come hang out with your fellow Terrarians, Community Leaders, and even the developers themselves! You never know what could happen, so you don't want to miss these! We are planning to conduct Terraria swag giveaways - and we might even have some Terraria-themed contests for epic prizes. The first livestream in the series will be tomorrow @ 1PM PST, and will include special guests: Badger, Chippy Gaming, Pedguin, Demize and more! The Stream will be live @ https://www.twitch.tv/TerrariaOfficial - Show up early for Twitch chat fun & Hype!
Good day Terrarians!
As you hopefully noticed, we had some pretty big news to share at E3 this week! During the PC Gaming Show, we revealed live to the world that the in-development 1.3.6 update is no more... the next update to Terraria will in fact be the fourth major update we have developed for the game, which we are calling Terraria: Journey's End!
For those that were unable to watch the reveal live, we have shared the teaser trailer below - along with some key details and a bit of what we expect will be your FAQ. As we always do, we have left out a ton of juicy details and other content and features that will be included with Terraria: Journey's End. Some of those have or might be spoiled between now and launch, but others will remain a secret until you have the update in your hands later this year. So, without further ado... we present to you Terraria: Journey's End!

Hello Terrarians! The dev team has been hard at work! We are excited to introduce new and improved language support/translations, 4K support, UI scale and zoom options, new furniture, a couple of armor sets, and more! This update represents one part of the team's vision for what we have called 1.3.5 to this point, and is focused on polishing and fixing up some issues that have needed addressing as well as bringing some long-requested features to the game. Admittedly, it is a bit light on "more content", however, we wanted to go ahead and get these ready-to-go features out to players now rather than making everyone wait until all of the other stuff is completed. The other part of this update will be focused on a list of things that the team feels needs a fresh look (rebalancing/tweaking/polishing) as well as some areas that we feel were overlooked or forgotten when we were working on the past several updates. This will provide a solid foundation from which we can execute our other secret Terraria update plans - and we are pretty sure you will find those exciting! For now, enjoy these handful of goodies (especially our non-English speaking fans), look forward to a second round to come... and towards even bigger things down the road. Changelog: Features:

1.3.4, is now live! This update opens a portal in Terraria and brings Dungeon Defenders 2 content, including a new NPC, an event, weapons, vanity, and more! We've also introduced the ability to toggle on/off the visual effects and new water visuals. You can check out the complete changelog below for a complete list of additions and new features. The Re-Logic team had an incredible time working with our new friends at Trendy Entertainment as part of this Terraria/Dungeon Defenders II cross-over. We are so excited to see the Dryad continue her journey in Etheria, and would like to thank the Trendy team for the amazing work they did bringing the Terraria creatures and Dryad to life in 3D! On our side, the opportunity to touch on Tower Defense style gameplay and the invaluable inspiration we got from DD2 was essential to our teams (and Terraria's) growth. If you'd like to check out more about the DD2 side of the update, visit https://dungeondefenders.com/2/blog/141405/the-terraria-crossover-is-here As always, this content is absolutely free to anyone who already owns Terraria on Steam. Changelog: Features - Dungeon Defenders 2 Cross-Over Invasion Invasion event featuring enemies, weapons, and gameplay mechanics inspired by Etheria - the Dungeon Defenders 2 universe This event will play like no other in Terraria - featuring a brand new mechanic where you protect an artifact from invading enemies with the help of a unique defensive structure system Multi-tiered event allows players at multiple points in the game to experience scaling difficulty, with corresponding loot Enjoy rewards in the form of armor, weapons, pets and more, all straight from the Dungeon Defenders 2 universe! - The Tavernkeep, a new NPC from the Dungeon Defenders universe, has arrived. He will be offering a variety of Etherian loot and gear in exchange for an exclusive currency earned by playing the new invasion! - Completely redesigned liquid visuals. Enjoy the ripples and waves, as the player, enemies, and projectiles now have a visible impact when they enter and move through water - The Blizzard weather event now has a new, unique ambient sound when active - Toggles for recently-added visual and water effects that will allow players to balance beautiful visuals and performance to fit their preferences - A new ability for Summoner players to direct their minions to attack a specific target - An experimental new world seed feature (This will be inactive by default, see below in the Changes section for more details) New Items - Four new sentry summons, each of which has three tiers of potency - Ten new weapons - Eight new armor sets - Five new accessories - Two new pets - One new light pet - Three new boss masks and trophies - Two new decorate furniture items - One brand new “Personal Safe” style furniture item, in the style of the Piggy -Bank and Safe - A brand new currency which can be spent with the Tavernkeep for much of the above New Enemies - Ten new enemies, many of which can become visibly (and mechanically) more powerful as gameplay progresses - Two new invasion style mini-bosses One new boss Other - One new soundtrack based on the Dungeon Defenders 2 OST, complete with a matching Music Box - Over 200 new sound effects inspired and adapted from Dungeon Defenders 2 Changes - The way Sentry Summons function has been changed somewhat. - Outside of the DD2 Invasion event, you now have a limit of one sentry summon at a time - Some of the 1.3.4 content can increase this limit - Unlike before, when the sentry limit is above 1, you can summon multiple versions of the same sentry. For instance, with a sentry limit of 3, you could summon 3 Frost Hydras at the same time. - Summoners can now direct their minions to attack a specific target of their choosing. To do this, the summoner must Right Click over an enemy while holding a minion summoning staff. Minions with line of sight on that enemy will target it immediately. However, if the minions do not have line of sight, they will continue to attack targets at random. - We’ve added an experimental new seed feature to World generation. All worlds generated in 1.3.4 and beyond will have a seed attached to them. You will also be able to set the seed for a world on world generation. PLEASE *NOTE that this feature is not active by default. To activate it, please follow these steps: 1. Find Terraria’s config.json file. On Windows, this should be found in Documents>My Games>Terraria. 2. Open the config file with a basic text editing program, such as Notepad. 3. The 12th line in the config file is labeled "UseExperimentalFeatures" and will be set to "false”". 4. Simply change this to “true” and save the config.json file. The next time you launch Terraria, the option to view and set world seeds will appear. Please be aware that this is NOT a retroactive feature, and cannot display the seeds for worlds created before 1.3.4, as the data is simply not stored there. Additionally, you must run launch Terraria in 1.3.4 before the option will appear in the config file. It no longer rains in the space biome. Bug Fixes -Fix for AMD Graphics Card related issue involving Living Flame Dye. -Fixed edges of screen getting inverted colors during a blizzard
