Hello All; The topic says an update is coming but do not get too excited YET as it is a TON of work that has to be done still, but I just wanted you to all know that is it on the distant horizon, and that this game is far from dead. I am hoping to implement some of the requests however this is more of a upgrade / remaster of the game, addressing some of the things the negative posts have stated fixing the tables mechanics and visuals e.t.c. Also in the update I am CONSIDERING a new table, but this depends on the work load I have on my plate already as you may or may not know this game is done by me, myself and I only. So in short please have patience. Thanks much - The Dev

Hello All; Just a small update here, I reduced the ball speed slightly to make it a little more sane for those that found it a little too fast. I also fixed a few misc but minor problems. Thanks and enjoy! -The Developer
Hello Everyone; I am pleased to release the latest build 2.3 which contains the following: - Locked gameplay at 60fps (So on higher end systems the gameplay is always consistent speed, not overly fast. - Added new in game Graphics settings options to further allow for tweaking on end users systems (Including: VSync, Windowed Mode and much much more!) - Improved the Adaptive Quality functionality. - Misc Bug fixes. Thanks so much to all that purchased this game, enjoy the latest update. Kindest Regards; The Developer
Hello All;
I am pleased to announce UPDATE 2.2 which features a new helping hand if you will, called Adaptive Graphics, which in short automatically adjusts the games visuals at run-time while maintaining 60+ FPS, this setting is disabled by default and is only to be used on low end systems that suffer from game lag / slow down, as it can drastically decrease the overall quality of the games graphics. However on higher end systems it can also push the FPS up a fair bit with minor quality loss.
So I suggest users experiencing LAG or SLOW DOWN to lower the resolution and graphical settings in the launcher and settings in game as well as disabling the HD Room, please use Adaptive Quality Settings as a last resort.
Through my tests it does jump the game to over 70 FPS and holds steady on low end systems. It can be enabled and disabled at the games main menu.
I hope that this update helps the people that are experiencing any lag. The next update will include a new table as well :) Bringing the count up to 8 Tables in total!
Thanks so much for your support, patience and understanding.
Kindest regards;
The Lone Developer ;)
Hey All; It was brought to my attention that windowed mode was broken. It has now been fixed and is live in version 2.1 live now across all platforms. Thanks for the heads up and happy gaming.
Hey All; I have been looking into the sticky flipper issue and lag that few seem to get. TOPIC LAG: Lag issue is due to lower end specs in MOST cases, the 5 machines I have tested it on had zero lag and ran on average 60+ FPS. Thus it is hard for me to replicate lag that a couple players have mentioned. However in version 2.0 I did do some additional tweaks and optimisation. TOPIC STICKY FLIPPERS: I have gone though this over and over and discovered that it was in fact the input wrapper that was being used, I have since removed the Input Wrapper from the game completely and re-wrote some of the flipper code, which now has checks for when a flipper is used / held down or not, thus resetting the flipper to the down position when not in use. SO in short the STICKY FLIPPER issue is FIXED! Finally, it was a pain to track down but all in all it is sorted. HOWEVER I still suggest that when remapping your buttons you do NOT use CTRL buttons as there is an ENGINE issue bug (not in my code) that has still not been addressed that prevents both CTRLS to be used at the same time and thus can cause some issues. Any other keys will be fine. TOPIC GFX, DISPLAYS & INPUT CONFIGURATION: I have removed the IN GAME settings & INPUTS completely, so when you start the game you can configure your keyboard inputs or controller inputs at the launcher instead as well as graphic settings and which display and resolution you would like. PLEASE NOTE: That XBox controllers work fine and as expected except the TRIGGERS, which at this time due to fixing the STICKY FLIPPERS issue has caused me to remove that portion of controller support at this time. However you can still map the flippers to the shoulder buttons if you so choose. Triggers may see a return in a future update. However I thought it was more important to resolve some of the issues that were causing an unpleasant gaming experience, flippers mainly. UI CHANGES: I have re-worked the games UI on the main menu, basically moving the table selection to the main menu and removing the old table select screen all together, so you can jump into a game right away instead of going through other menu windows. Also the buttons are now animated to show which table you wish to play. Also the UI on the menu scales accordingly across the platforms and displays. All in all I am very happy with this release, I just can not apologise enough for the flipper issue that should not of been there from day one! I just could not for the life of me track it down after launch. Thanks for your understanding, happy gaming.
