Riptale Mac Os X & Linux Test Channels

There is now an option to try our Riptale on Mac and Linux via beta channels. Here's a simple guide of how to try them out:

1. Go to your Steam games library
2. Right-click on Riptale
3. Select Properties
4. A window shows up, select Betas from the top
5. Apply password
---- "supergodlinuxtest" for Linux
---- "supergodmactest" for Mac
6. Open the pulldown window and select either "linux" or "mactest" channel for respective game builds
7. Go to the library page and install the game

We've done some testing in-house, but we have very limited versions of each OS available. That's why we would like have you, our beloved community, check it out with us.

Should there be any problems or inconsistencies, let us know at Riptale's community page.

NOTE FOR LINUX USERS: Riptale's support is for Ubuntu 14.04 only (due GameMaker's support) so it may or may not work on any other distro. If you can get it to work on other distros, please let us and the community know.

NOTE FOR MAC USERS: Due to GameMaker's current lack of support for Sierra, the game may not run at all. If you're using Sierra, tell us as soon as possible whether the game works on your system or not. If it does not work and should you get it to work, please let us and the community know.

Riptale Hotfix - 24.5.2017

Changed Display Settings menu header to what it should be
- Twins should no longer deal damage after they die
- Physics Blood settings should now be correctly defaulted to "High" instead of "Off"

In case you're wondering why the heck your precious red life liquids are not smearing the walls, check settings from Main Menu -> Options -> Display Settings -> Physics Blood.

Riptale Patch - v1.0.3

Patch notes v1.0.3

- Made some slight adjustments to main menu, like moving button prompts more towards bottom corner and added a version number
- Options menu has had some changes, all display and graphic-related options have been moved under a single option window
- You can now select window size up to 4x normal size
- You can now select the amount of physics blood from off - low - medium - high. High is default.
- You can now select a faded colors mode
- Necro Dragon's max minion count has been raised from 4 to 5
- Necro Dragon's minions' speed reduced
- Necro Dragon's minions now have an unique death animation
- Necro Dragon's minions' spawning now has an animation, indicating where the spawning will take place
- Necro Dragon's teleport spell has been adjusted and should no longer teleport too close to player
- Necro Dragon will no longer take extra hits from same attack during slow-motion
- Adjusted enemy spawning in a way that should prevent from player falling into a cluster of enemies when entering a new room from the top
- Peeks (teleporting enemies in Underground Forest) should no longer get stuck in walls, ceiling or floor
- Peeks should no longer teleport right in player's location
- Player should no longer be able to take damage right after starting the room clearing challenge that includes Blades (bouncing enemies)

EDIT:

- As an added bonus, a screen color filter unlock system was added to the game. Unlocked screen filters and faded color scheme can now be accessed from unlock menu.
- You may unlock new screen color filters by advancing further in the game.
- A timer has been added to the game. Timer will be visible when a boss has been killed, player is killed or game is completed.
- Button prompts have been added to options/unlock menus
- Adjusted Peeks' behaviour a little bit, in attempt to make it less annoying. It is still quite annoying.

- Added some enemies an idle animation.
- Added an animation to the challenge pineapples.
- Added challenge room pineapples a pick-up sound, you know, the sound that pineapples make.
- Fixed inconsistencies in Dragon Cultist damage pattern.
- Fixed a bug where player was able to walk through Dragon Knights even though they shouldn't.
- Fixed a bug where a door was placed incorrectly in one of the challenges.
- Fixed typos in challenge text boxes.
- Enemies in challenge rooms no longer drop loot.
- Boss minions no longer drop money. They may still drop health pickups.
- Homing attack gained a new animation and its hitbox has been reduced drastically.
- Added new sound effects and updated some music files.
- D-pad controls should now work properly when selected from control bindings.
- Fixed a bug relating to d-pad that caused game to crash.

- Fixed a bug where you could get "Like an Absolute Madman" by completing game first on normal mode then immediately entering hardmode afterwards.
