Some players have been experiencing a problem with specific controllers when changing the game controls. We appreciate the patience and all the details on the reports that are helping us track this down.
This update should avoid any player to be locked on the start screen.
Important:
- If you're locked on the start screen, try disconnecting your controller and progressing with mouse and keyboard.
- Make sure you're playing the 1.1.11 version.

We worked on a couple more bugs reported by players.
BUGS:
- Levers of a room in Aberrations Chambers were not clearly visible
- Some controllers are totally unresponsive after trying to remap THE BUTTONS
- Buried Tunnels 1 spawns the Naturalist's and Warrior's unlock rooms and have no rooms to spawn a lever
CHANGES:
- Small nerf to the Freezing Bomb freezing time

These bugs are now fixed on the 1.1.08 version. Most of them were reported by players! Thanks a lot for the help!
Bugs:
- Eva projectiles don't move to the bottom of the room when you have the Rabbit's Herb
- Double chest spawning on top of the player makes him/her stuck
- Fireballs shot by Defiant Flames are too slow
- 2 Driders transforming each other at the same time softlock the room
- Boomerang stuck on Magnetic
- Enemy stuck behind a bookcase in one specific room
- Fairy froze Insectoid and he can't be killed anymore

ABOUT SWITCH
Qubic Games is the publisher responsible for the porting of Mana Spark on Switch and they're working to port the DLC. They also helped the development with part of the funding, so, it's in their best interest to port the new DLC as fast as possible. Quality of Life Update v1.0.21
Since the launch in September we've been updating the game, fixing bugs, removing and adding things players have pointed out to us. Today what we have is a slightly bigger update that we think will make playing our game a better experience: New Map Movement System Open the map / choose any room already visited / there you are!
Faster movement when out of combat More mobility! Can be disabled on Options Menu. New Poison System Stepping on poison won't get you poisoned immediately. It's only fair, right? Convenient Loot Grab Gold and runes are automatically collected after you clear a room. Why not? Reducing Loading Times The game now loads faster between floors. A Bunch of Bug Fixing Some were simple, some were more severe, but what matters is that they've been fixed. Supported Languages We now have:
- English
- Portuguese - Brazil
- Russian
- French
- Spanish - Spain
- Spanish - Latin America
A Word About New Content
We're not blind. We've seen your feedback on the forums and on reviews requesting new content. New enemies, new items, new areas. It breaks our hearts to read this from players that loved the game, but think the game is not on its full potential because of the lack of content. And I agree with that. We've been making some evaluations and we were even talking with a publisher that had some interest on investing on a paid DLC. The truth is, the sales of the game were not terrible, but it didn't let room for a significant update. If we work on this and it doesn't bring enough results it could put us out of business. With all that being said, I'd like to know from you:
- What kind of new content would you like to see?
- Would you be cool with paying (between 2$ and 5$) for the DLC?

There was a backtracking problem on Mana Spark.
This happened when you had explored an area on the game to find a lever, and then to reach the exit you had to go all the way back to where you were before, in a long boring walk.
Other games that also have this problem usually solve it by allowing the player to teleport somehow, like on Enter the Gungeon or Dead Cells.
But it seemed to be a cheap trick to me.
I didn’t want to introduce random teleports on Mana Spark.
So this is the solution I came with:
A new Mini Map.
Yeah, that’s the solution. Before our mini map looked like this:
The rooms of the floor were only revealed once you’d visited them. Everything was hidden. Why? I didn’t had an answer. Because everybody does it like that? The player had no idea where the rooms were, so he couldn’t plan a good route. That’s what was causing backtracking at first! So here’s how the new mini map look like:
The floor layout is completely at hand right when you get to it. You see where the exit is, and can decide where you want to explore first. That way you can make a smarter exploration. Also now there’re icons that show if there’s still something left in the room. Like a lever or meat. This was a feature requested by some people from the community.
