These are some things I worked on during this time, in the next update I will fix the co-op mode!

+Added 2 new skins for Ditone.

*Fixed a bug where the loading screen was not hiding when loading or generating new districts.
*Fixed getting stuck in menus when opening workbenches. If it happens, press ESC to fix.
*Achievements can't be claimed several times now.
*Rewards should now appear in other parts of the screen.
*Grenade description fixed.
*Potions of purification can't be used if player has all health.
*Fixed screen resolution when starting the game.
*Shift clicking items now no longer delete items.
*Water reflection now saves & loads correctly.
*Mouse doesn't reflect in water anymore.
*Scree resolution 4:3 won't be set by default when opening the game for the first time.
*Fixed minor bugs.

Small update about the game



Hello again everyone.

Quick post to announce that I will update Himno TSM at the end of January or early February, I need to check several things that may take a bit longer to do.

What I am planning to do is an update about bug fixing, making the game as polished as I can and start to think about reworking the biomes system and giving the game an end. This is because some people already told me adding more biomes and items won't make the game more fun, just longer with a repetitive loop and that's totally true. When I added the last 2 biomes I felt exactly like that. The game won't improve just adding more biomes. There will be 8 different biomes in the final game. And as always, I am open to suggestions.



This game has almost been in development for 3 years and my sanity this year decreased considerably mostly because of this long and big development. As I mentioned before in the official discord, during this time I was working on Himno TSM, Little Dungeon Stories (which will have a final update soon), and my newer game, Outpath. For now on, my future projects will be smaller, shorter and finished before release.



Let me know what you think about all of this in the comment section I am happy to hear your opinions.

And for people worried about the new game, dont worry. Outpath will be release when ready but you can play the prologue tomorrow. You can also wishlist the game if would like to help me out and get notified when its released.
For those curious its a Clicker Base Building game where you automate extraction of materials and expand your islands.

Hey, David here.

First of all sorry for my english but I didn't prepare this just talking to you as close and transparent as I can.

So I have been gone for a while to take a break from working so long and hard on a project as big as this game currently is. At first I didn't plan for the game to be so big but over time and my ambition to make the best game I can make has led me to burn out of the project several times even enjoying working on it.

So for my future projects I have in mind doing things a bit different.

I have another game in early access apart from Himno TSM, I am preparing a final update and release the game as finished. I have in mind doing an update for Himno TSM too for this Winter, and since everyone is complaining about bugs I will try to fix everything I can during this month.

Sorry for being gone again. I can't handle well these situations so I usually dissapear, work on new ideas to refresh my mind and comeback again. I won't name any personal problems here because no one is interested but I can if you want to know, I'm not ashamed to do it.

To summarize I will do a final update on Little Dungeon Stories (another EA game but its almost done but have a few bugs), a new update for Himno TSM for this Winter fixing bugs and some new content I already did and keep working on this game until is finished, slowly but with good pace.

Update Alpha V. 1.1.2a NOW OUT with a 20% sale!

Hello again everyone!

During this time I have been working on the feedback I received this month. Mainly on improving the new players experience, aiming with controller now works with the right stick, crafting recipes appear once you see them in the crafting panel, new UI icons for quick heal button and much more below. I am working on new content along with more quality life options and features.

Update Alpha V. 1.1.1a NOW OUT with a 20% sale!

Hey!

Here I am again with another update, this time I am focusing on improving the controller input systems and some bug fixing along with balancing the game. The controller system is 90% done, it may have bugs because I had to remake the entire system. Also the co-op mode have been disabled because it was not as I wanted to be, it had some bugs that could ruin the experience. I will work on it as soon as possible.

+Added quick button to use heal potions (Q / D-pad Up).

-Disabled co-op mode for the moment (Right now it has a lot of bugs and I want to add it perfectly).

*Some minor changes to UI.
*Corrupted guardian enemy now appears in higher biomes and decreased base damage and health.

Major Update Alpha V. 1.1.0a NOW OUT with a 20% sale!



Here I am again!

During these months I have been working on a lot of things. The major things added are 2 new biomes with unique monsters and machines, items and new cool weapons with status effects such as poison. 1 new guardian can be unlocked and I added a lot of new content for customizing and automate your camp (now you can convert your camp into a big factory!).



I also tried to make a shadow system (like terraria does) but I failed because it would affect performance so for now I will delay that feature.

Dev update about the current state of Himno TSM

Hello everyone, I'm sorry to have to tell you this bad news but the update I was planning to upload in a couple of weeks will be delayed. I feel so dumb right now since I deleted my current project thinking I had 2 copies, so I lost 3 weeks of development. I will keep working really hard on this project as me and you, players, love it so much. I am currently working on adding more biomes, items, weapons and harder bosses, basically Zone 2.

So during these days, I have been working on several things like reworking the entire controller input system (which we will see if you like it more than the older one). Also working on Zone 2 with new biomes but unfortunately, I can't add to the game biomes without bosses because how the game is done. But I have been working on new features for the next Zone, Bohu, and I am excited! I also changed the crafting system, now workbenches have crafting queues and they will automatically craft the items for you! This took me more than I thought so I couldn't work more on new content but next big update it will for sure the Zone 2 unlocked! ^^

My future plan for Himno TSM is doing an update that will be released on December. It will include the first biomes of the second zone with their corresponding unique creatures, machines and items. I am so excited to start!

I am so happy to see you enjoying the game so far! I have collected feedback from you and in general what I see the most is the lack of information at the beginning of the game. I will explain a little the objective of the game in the first minutes to make the experience more enjoyable for new players. Also balance isnt right (as expected) so I will work on this too.

This day 1 patch its about improving controller support and some bug fixes as you can see below.

These gifs are outdated, I made them months ago, I improved the features shown in them but since I don't have much time, I am reusing some of them.

And now, the NEW features!:

[h3]UPGRADE WEAPONS[/h3]


Weapons/shields gain experience when damaging creatures/machines. Then you can upgrade their tier with the new Essence transfuser workshop. Also reroll weapon trait and recycle items.

[h3]MACHINE ELITES[/h3]


Now some districts are Outposts, which have more loot, some workstations and a portal that returns you to your base. But before all that you have to kill the Elite that guards the bunker!

[h3]MACHINE BOSSES[/h3]


Bosses will have Bunkers like Machine Elites do, but these will appear in districts 11, 18 and 25.

[h3]NEW TYPES OF WEAPONS[/h3]


I added cool new weapons like gloves, grappling hooks, more swords, bows, wands, staffs and boomerangs. Also re-worked Burn and Frozen states.

Play as Geshaa once unlocked and you can now change guardians' skins! Each Guardian has their unique weapon.

More customization for your play style! I added more runes and Guardian's purity passives.

You can now destroy the terrain making new paths and strategies to fight or travel. There will be hidden secrets in some districts!

    Himno The Silent Melody New Massive Update!



    Hey! NEW UPDATE!! So I have been working on the combat sequel of Himno, The Silent Melody. Many ideas have come out of this discussion, so if you have any that you would like to be in the game, do not hesitate to write it here. All ideas are welcome!

    To make everything clear, there will be two types of games, one with combat that will be this standalone expansion "Himno - The Silent Melody" and "Himno 2", that will be 100% peaceful.

    Here I show you some of these advances:

    [h3]Architect Biome[/h3]

    This new NPC called "Architect Biome" will need Biome Blueprints to create new zones to explore through your journeys. She creates biomes in the 4 zones of the game. For example these 2:

    Buildings in Avis Zone

    In this biome buildings are created with much more workshops and chests. Not all buildings are open though.

    And Purity lands also in Avis

    Here if you try to take resources out, some protector flies will attack you. This is a WIP, I may change the color to red and add some larger fields.

    [h3]Little shops for the Guardian[/h3]

    These vending machines are very rare, when you buy something, the price of the next item increases a percentage. Most likely, I will change them visually so that they don't stand out as much since they seem taken from a cyber world game.

    [h3]Monolith Enhancers[/h3]

    By appliying these items in the Monolith Enhancers, you will increase the level of difficulty of that zone. Not only enemies will be stronger, new features will occure like water rising, dark fog which you will need special wisps or fire arrows to see through and even storms. Of course by doing this, the loot will increase, finding better runes for the sword and rare items and more resources.
    Also a little preview of what Igna Zone will look like:

    [h3]More polish combat and visuals[/h3]

    A combat against machines. They are activated depending on your level of karma (more info below). If they do, they will start attacking you. Healthbars are also updated to be more clear. This is a pretty bad gameplay from me but when you deal with enemies without taking damage it's so satisfying feeling like a hero.

    [h3]Towns, Town Shops & The Hoarder[/h3]

    When using a Portal with some NPC Coordinates, a town will be generated. Here there will be a shop and some NPCs with missions or little trades. Their houses can also be explored if the are opened with enough "Trust". Trust can be gained in several ways.


    the Hoarder will exchange your items for coins.

    [h3]New District Checkpoins[/h3]

    if you remember, in Himno there are 2 checkpoints per district that you can touch to activate them. Well, now they can be activated again using resources (randomly) to travel to the camp. There are few ways to travel to our camp once we are traveling, this is one of them but at a price. If we increase the tier of the area with the Monolith Enhancers, we will not be able to use this feature. They will also recover your green health.

    [h3]Slime Rancher[/h3]

    When you kill creatures, there is a chance a creature book will drop. If you give that book and some Creature Essence to the Summoner, he will summon that type of creature. This only works for Slimes since these creatures are able to transform what they eat into more quantity and more valuable resources. If they keep eating, they will grow!

    [h3]Karma System[/h3]

    This is going to be a long section. Before, you could customize your sword with colors. But instead of that I have decided to add a karma system to the game. Destroying machines, igniting torches and helping different people will increase your Purity as a Guardian (Karma), but killing creatures will decrease it.

    There are 3 levels of Purity: Green/Blue > Yellow > Dark.

    In Green or Peaceful path, creatures won't attack you, machines will. In Yellow, hostile creatures and machines will attack you. And in Dark Path, creatures will attack you but machines won't unless you attack them.

    I need to think more things about this and how will affect the world.

    These were things everyone was asking for (A LOT) so it will be available for the sequel! :D
