Greetings all stars
Some of you got to try out this patch at the recent Pax Aus convention and we are now happy to push it live!
First key feature is the new All Star! Lady Meow has entered the Dungeon League. She slices she dices, she kills all the mices... Or something like that. She is fast, has a deadly returning fan and can grappling hook away in a moments notice.
Something horrible has been growing in the dark... monster champions can now be found in the dungeon. These baddies have boosted stats and random abilities. To celebrate their release we have added a new quest mode, Slayer, where the team to kill the most Champions will claim the round!
Gauntlet has undergone a significant transformation where it is now infinite! Grab your friends and see how far you can make it down. We have even added a new score system so you can compare how well you are doing to others. Be sure to post screen captures of your best effort!
The full patch notes are contained below, and as always be sure to leave us any feedback in the comments below or in the discussion topic on the forums.

Greetings All Stars,
It's been a while since we released a Dungeon League update - as we move closer to launch we decided that to make Dunegon League the best it can be, we really needed to implement some form of Online Multiplayer. So as a result, a complete code overhaul was needed, which essentially pushed us back to the the start of the project again. I'm happy to report that the development is now back on track, and as a result, let this be the unofficial announcement that Online Multiplayer is on its way! But enough about that, let's take a look at the newest update!
Meet Helga, the angriest All Star to enter the Dungeon league. This Barbarian would even give Conan a run for his money in an arm wrestle! Inspire your team mates with her War Cry, or decimate the enemy in a Whirlwind of axes! She's brutal on the field, and if she gets too close, she will crush you like a worm. Hot tip for ranged players, keep Helga at bay at all costs. Distance is the key!
Achebit has also thrown in a number of bug fixes and balance changes to the existing characters, a couple of new monsters, and some brand new items for you to explore. So grab some controllers, get your friends over, and check out the latest additions to the game!
Christopher and Ed have taken the time to record a video outlining the features of the new patch and talk strategy and builds surrounding Helga. Please check out the video below!

Hello Dungeon Competitors!
The first Dungeon League update for 2016 is here,
Gauntlet mode is finally here, and it will test the best of the best. It's kinda like Top Gun, but with way more goblins. This brand new mode is a 1-4 player co-op Roguelike that plays more like a traditional dungeon crawler. While the competitive multiplayer of Dungeon League has always been the focus, creating a fun single-player or co-op experience seemed like a great way to make sure that anyone can enjoy the game, no matter what their favourite game modes are.
So the first iteration only includes one dungeon, Lair of the Goblin King. Your party will need to make your way through a series of enemies, some familiar, others completely new. If you make it to the end, you'll have to face off against the horrendous Goblin King, who can call in swarms of minions with his trusty horn. Be careful, he has a habit of farting poisonous gasses which will hinder our heroes, or perhaps even cause death.
Among the new enemies are the Troll, who regenerates his health which is particularly annoying considering he is quite a beefy enemy. There's also a Goblin Shaman who will be spewing spells left, right and centre, and make sure you watch out for the Goblin Boomer who will be chasing you with his exploding bombs!
There have also been a healthy amount of tweaks and bug fixes behind the scenes as we ramp up development towards the online multiplayer modes. As always we appreciate all the feedback, so if you have suggestions or find some bugs, please throw them into the Lair of the Goblin King thread.
The update took a little longer than expected, mainly due to the fact that we needed to recode the entire backend from scratch as we moved to a new version of Unity. Many sleepless nights and hundreds of squashed bugs later, we are happy to unleash this new update for you all!
Until next time!

Introducing a brand new All Star, Freya the Druid, kicking ass for Nature! With the ability to transform into a Dire Bear, drop Totems to heal her allies and summon Woodkin to her aid, Freya is a deadly addition to the growing Dungeon League lineup. King of the Hill has been added to the quest stack! Players must compete to hold a shifting a point in the Dungeon. After some very thorough discussions it has been decided that the mid game screen will return. So welcome back Zug and the Drill Sergeant who will again tend to your needs. Greetings Champions
The first update for Dungeon League will be hitting your Steam libraries this Friday! After an insane showing at PAX Prime (thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth!), we wanted to give you a heads up on what the update will contain, and why we made some of the changes that you will find.
Survival Mode
The first iteration of Survival Mode will be launching, supporting 1-4 players. Competitors will face off against endless waves of Monsters, attempting to last the longest and be crowned the ultimate Dungeon League survivor. We're looking forward to gathering your feedback on the first pass at the new game mode, and together we'll really make this a challenge for the ages!
Goodbye XP Screens, Hello Builds!
After watching people play the game, and taking feedback from the Steam Community Hub, we quickly realised that having players assign XP to certain skills and upgrades was a bit of a chore. Players love Dungeon League because the game is fast and frenetic, so we have decided to scrap the in-between rounds skill screen in favour of auto-leveling! When starting a game, players will choose a "build" for their character, and the game will automatically assign and unlock the next skills during the action. Every time you level up, you MP and HP will be fully replenished, which also creates some interesting swings in the heat of competition. We tested the new feature at PAX Prime, and seeing the pace of the game change so dynamically was amazing. We can't wait to get your feedback on this new change once you start playing the game at home - so please keep giving us your feedback once the update drops later this week.
Character and Monster Balance
Once again, this comes directly from your player feedback. We've tweaked each individual hero and made some changes to their abilities to help balance the game. On Friday we'll give you the complete rundown, but Albert is getting the brunt of the changes in order to balance him out against the others. We've also lowered the difficulty of the monsters to make them a little less punishing, and they will now scale accordingly to the number of players competing. There's a tonne of other new bits and bobs in Friday's update, but we hope this short glimpse will pump you up and get ready to enter the dungeon this Friday! Steve - Community Manager

🎮 Full Controller Support
- Dungeon League Linux [504.2 M]
The Dungeon Masters have a new favourite sport, Dungeon League takes everything that is awesome about dungeon crawling and spews it out as 10 minutes of chaotic, multiplayer, party-game action. Up to four All Stars take to the procedurally generated dungeon to battle each other (and hordes of enemies) in a series of two minute rounds pulled at random from a stack of wildly different Quests. From the classic Deathmatch to the ever frantic (and kind of gross) Witches Eye, each round is hard fought and requires unique tactics to succeed.
Teaming up or standing only for themselves, each of the classic RPG heroes will rapidly level up and equip new gear between rounds, going from zero to hero in minutes not hours.
Features
Intense Dungeon Crawling Action - Rounds last just two minutes and feature hordes of enemies to kill, objectives to achieve, traps to avoid and opponents to be vanquished. Win three rounds to be hailed as the Dungeon League Champion.
Easy to pick up, hard to put down - Dungeon League takes everything awesome about RPGs and removes the boring bits. It’s simple to learn, anyone can play and there’s always time for one more go.
All the RPG tropes got invited: Heroes, warriors, rogues, trolls, wizards, dungeons, traps, flickering torches, goblins, loot, skills, stat points, sweet epic gear sold by a mysterious and seductive merchant of indeterminate species and an anthropomorphised unicorn - they all came to the party.
More modes than your Dad’s old dungeon crawler: Every Tournament match randomly pulls from a stack of different Quests. From Deathmatch to Capture the Flag to Witches Eye and Obelisk, your Dad has never played a game like this. Take time out from the competition in the co-operative Gauntlet and Survival game modes or chuck the old trollskin around in Dungeon Ball, all due to arrive during Early Access along with more Tournament Quests.
Level at light speed: These All Stars take three or four levels at a time, man. Rapidly train your hero through their skill path between rounds before visiting Zug the Shopkeeper to purchase the Winged Boots, Vampiric Ring or Shadow Amulet. Find the perfect build to give you the edge in the next bout.
Take your All Star out for a test run: Worried about looking like a sunday crawler or not sure what All Star to choose? Jump into the freeplay area to bash some monsters and learn how to master each character.
