Now the crew member carrying the monster will leave the Med Lab, walk down the hall and place the monster into a container for retrieval. -Fixed a bug that would cause the crew member carrying the monster to walk “under” the sedated crew member when leaving the Med Lab. -Added new crew member to lounge in preparation for the revised “fetch” mini-game. -Added the oven/microwave oven animation for new crew member in lounge area. -Added ambient VFX to various play areas. -Fixed a bug that would allow players to trigger the cafe fatality and leave without witnessing it. -Fixed a bug that would break the font on the “Cafe Completed” banner. -Added text dialogue to buffet monitor in cafeteria. -Various other tweaks and fixes. Dialogue Localization Progress!!
Russian is complete thanks to some serious professionals from the ZoneOfGames Forum Team! Thank you team, you're awesome!!! Polish is close thanks to a couple of volunteers, as soon as it's wrapped I'll have more info to share. Rest are in the works thanks to an awesome community! Thank you everyone for your hard work and patience! I'm going to be working to get the new fonts and localization patched in within the next couple of days!

What is this?
As apart of an ongoing effort to improve the localization of Outpost 13, as well as provide easier information access and collaboration to forthcoming localization volunteers, I've created the "Community Localization Initiative" section on the forums. Only game owners can see or post in these forums.
How will this work?
Each one of the languages below will have their own thread in the forums featuring a dialogue script in English. As they are completed and approved, I will update the discussions as "completed."

Do I get anything if I help?
Those who contribute and are approved, even if it's just a single line, up until the localization for that language is marked as complete will receive a localization credit in the game's credits.*

2.3.4 Patch Notes
-Added a volume controller to the main menu and alternate main menu. (in black/white, bottom left corner). -Corrected the game description to clarify that Outpost 13 is an homage to The Thing, Alien, and X-Files. I also added a legal disclaimer at the bottom. -Fixed a bug that would cause crew member Ash to be invisible in her bed sleeping. -Fixed a bug that would lock the vent map system open after the morning transition. -Finally found and fixed the Lab 2 bug that would lock you in the lab if you entered the Lab whenever the Doctor was leaving/in the process of leaving! -The code for the Cafeteria machine is no longer a combination of the clue’s numbers, it is now the exact combination found in the clue. -Fixed the computer interaction mechanic in Lab B. -Fixed the chemical mixing interaction mechanic in Lab B. -Fixed a bug in the Cafeteria that would cause a terrible audio trigger/loop when the food machine activation reached 60%. -Fixed a bug that would cause the top exit of the outpost to appear useable at times when it is not. -Fixed a bug that would cause the snow foot step sound to be triggered when inside the Outpost. -Changed the text on the game over screen. -Corrected the localization support on store front to reflect the current lack of interface localization.

Humble is working hard to credit your Outpost 13 keys to your account. In the mean time I've personally emailed all (Game) Slacker Backers a free extra key as compensation for this delay. I fixed a bug that would cause the Garage and Lab 2 areas to permanently lock after saving the game.

Outpost 13 Details:
Outpost 13 is an homage to some of my favorite 70's, 80's and 90's science fiction and horror films/media such as Alien, X-Files, Evil Dead and The Thing (to name a few).* It is a point-and-click action-adventure game that takes place at an outpost on the planet Achelous IV. You, the player, plays as a dog named "Fen" who comes into contact with an alien biological agent that bonds the dog/player with an alien life form who calls himself "Tantalus." The player's objective is to leave Achelous and make it to the nearest spaceport by inducing enough fear into the stationed crew members that they abandon their 5 year long mission on Achelous and leave early. At least that's the plan, there may be higher powers at play.You're the Monster: Player's will take on the role of an alien monster strategically killing off crew members while maintaining their cover as "Fen" the crew's pet dog.
Stealth, Strategy, and a Fiery Death: Player's will need to form a strategy to separate and alienate crew members by creating distractions, utilizing the ventilation system, and temporarily knocking out the outpost's power. If player's are unable to maintain their cover and stealth, or is discovered as the monster, the crew will respond with flamethrower's and you will be destroyed by fire.
Alien Planet Setting: Outpost 13 takes place on Achelous IV, a life viable planet several times larger than earth. Winters and summers last several years each, and it is currently 13 earth months into winter on Achelous.
The character progression system has been scrapped for the current Act 1 build, however it may return at a later date. If Act 1 goes well and everything works out, I'll potentially be making an announcement about a new game mode that will likely feature it. :)
