Oh My Blob! is a turn-based action puzzler where you need to outsmart, outwit and outright destroy the blobs! Learn how the different blobs move, how they attack, how they split and multiply, and use that knowledge to complete all 33 levels and claim victory.

What horrors lurk in the shadows?

Uh oh they seem really angry

Thank you to Sophie Houlden for being an inspiration, for introducing me to PICO-8, and for hosting the Chess Jam, which reminded me that I got into programming to make games.

Thank you to Appelcline & Allen for writing the book Meeples Together, which planted the seed for the central game mechanic of Oh My Blob! by describing the cascading threat mechanic in Pandemic and Flash Point. It got me wondering if that might work as a D&D encounter with cascades of splitting and merging blobs, so I started prototyping just a quick little simulation in PICO-8...

Thank you to Zep for PICO-8 and how it magically sucks you in with its bright pixels and cute code editor. It's one of the very few platforms that doesn't get in the way; its limitations are there to help.

Troubleshooting
Mobile: The browser version might work on some mobile phones, no guarantees.

Sound: If there's no sound, the level transitions might not work because I tied the animations to the music. Sorry. As a workaround, you can return to the menu and select the next level.
