The Sun Church is holding its annual festival in the Slavic city Njebosvod, to praise their religion and the czar family. However, Intruders who believe the church and royals to be corrupt made their way inside. Now, they attempt to ruin the festivities by stealing and destroying what is in their eyes propaganda, all while trying to act as innocent as the local citizens.
Devoted royal guards have to try their very best to save the festival, protect the citizens and most importantly the royal family! To imprison them they need to act quickly and distinguish the intruders from the obedient citizens. But they need to be cautious not to ruin the mood themselves by falsely accusing too many innocents.

Overcrowded playfully mixes 2D Sprites with a 3D environment, in an overall pixel art look. Its setting is inspired by slavic cultures. 

This game was created as a Semester Project at the University of Applied Sciences, Darmstadt, Faculty of Media.
