Update notes for 17 January - Save and load is finally here!

It's finally here, save and load!


Along with a new ability to retry your last wave in which you lost hit points in!



Also, we found the previous gem update went too far and pushed too much power into gems. We have updated gems to reduce their strength as a gold jump and promote more strategic uses.

  • Added the ability to continue from where you last left off. Progress is saved after you complete a wave. Changing your talents in any way resets all your saved files.
  • Added a new talent, Retry. Unlocks the ability to retry a wave where you lost some hit points in.
  • Added a new Path length number to the top info bar.

[h2]Updates:[/h2]

  • Faster Hits, Harder hits and Immolation gems have been made Unique, only allowing them to be upgraded on 1 unit per level.
  • Mage attacks, Unholy explosions and Huxian's orb sounds have been tweaked to be less intrusive.

  • Fixed an error that could occur if you left a scout on the bench during the tutorial, crashing the bonus objective check and preventing you from completing the tutorial (fml)

Tiny Tactics, Depths Rising



The dead have started energizing the land, transforming it and opening up previously locked away areas and potential. Explore a new Biome with many updates and improvements to existing systems.

With the initial release of Tiny Tactics, as players from around the world started playing and experiencing it, a vision of an improved game immerged out of all the feedback received. This update is a step towards that vision. This required some units to be removed, but expect their possible return at some point in a future update. This, and the tweaking of existing units should go a long way to balancing out the experience, reducing randomness and adding more predictability.

  • New Beach Biome with 12 new levels and 5 new Enemy Types (entrance Somewhere in Summer)

23 August Hotfix - Expanding resolutions

  • Removed restriction on specific aspect ratios above 21:9


Known issues: The resolution drop-down doesn't know when it's been moved to a new monitor, so the supported resolutions only update when it's reloaded, or on scene change.

22 August Update - Expanded Settings and Optimisations

  • Added a setting to enable or disable loading Images instead of 3d models in the shop. This should help those on older machines who are experiencing reduced performance (and sometimes crashing) towards the end of the wave.
  • Added a setting to enable or disable V-Sync.
  • Added a setting to enable or disable Full Screen.
  • Added a setting to enable or disable the camera moving between rounds.
  • The setting to enable or disable Depth of Field now also works for the campaign map.

  • Ranged cap has been increased from 6 to 12.
  • Optimized Luxuria's model.

This should be our biggest update to address performance issues and instability towards the end of a match. If you are experiencing issues, please turn off 3d models in the shop. What's been occurring is all 121 units have been loaded into memory towards the end of the match, and the internal unity process to clean them up is causing issues.

18 August Update - Music & Highly requested features

  • Class Buffs are now visible on units at all times, instead of just during a wave.
  • Unit Library is now accessible during a level. Click the "i" icon next to the Settings Cog at the top right of the screen to browse all available units.
  • Hovering over a class in the shop or in the in-game class display will now highlight all units of that class type in play.
  • Hovering over the Reroll button will display the current reroll rates for each unit rarity.
  • You can now select a unit through their DPS meter. If you've upgraded a unit, it will break the link currently.
  • Kills are now visible in a unit's tooltip.

  • All music has been updated with appropriately licensed music.
  • Level Bonus is now visible at all times during a wave, with a call to action to use L-Alt to see more detail.
  • Bastille's attack speed lowered to 3 attacks a second, but DPS remains the same.
  • Bastille's mana per attack increased to 4.

  • Fixed issue with Zyrax gaining double the intended Attack Damage from her ability.

What's next
These are the most requested features we received. This puts the game in a really good space with most of the feedback we received being addressed. We are still planning on extending the settings menu to allow players to customise their experience a little more, adding more resolution options etc. We are also working hard on addressing all issues players are experiencing.
