Update Notes 8 Feb - Money updates, Production upddates, Bankruptcy!


It's highly recommended that you run the Auto-Set Network Deals and Auto Set All Worker Contracts. These can be found in Edit Database > Helpful Scripts.
Back again with our second release of the year!


  • Added the ability for a company to go bankrupt, or be bought out by the user if their company is in a dire financial state.
  • Rebalanced network deals, production costs, and worker contracts
  • Promotions will cut their production levels and release workers in order to cut costs when finances are looking bad
  • Added two new Production options - Marketing and Back Office. Both come with bonuses to attendance and viewership, and are necessary to move up in levels (Regional to Cult, Cult to National etc)
  • Updated Production rules, so that instead of applying a multiplier to your segment score, they cap your final show score.
  • Added a financial chart on the All Promotions page, so you can see how each company is doing financially.
  • Widened the criteria for when you are at war with another promotion
  • Heightened the impact of losing a promotional war
  • Optimised a lot of UI and backend logic, so that the game should feel a lot faster and more responsive
  • Improved the performance of the Next Day Cycle to be at least twice as fast by my calculations
  • Added a little pop noise when Next Day cycle is over, for those who like to go do something else while the Next Day is simming.

Happy new year! We have a few fun new changes to the game today.


  • Added Angle Templates- These are templates which can be used on the booking screen to create complex angles with titles and descriptions very easily. They are fully moddable, importable and editable. For the sake of getting the update out ASAP there is only a few default ones in there for now, but the hope is that the default list grows as time goes on!
  • Updates various styles across the app
  • Added active storylines list to booking screen, for easy reference
  • Added Romantic story beat
  • Added Staredown story beat
  • Added contract signing story beat
  • Contract offers in the news will now say if the offer is exclusive or not

  • Promotion Wars - Each Monday, rival promotions will be compared in a variety of topics, and the loser will take a hit to their popularity

Release Notes 2 Aug 2023 - Workshop Support Added!

Hi all, after a lot of work, I'm happy to announce the game now has workshop support! You can subscribe to workshop mods using the Workshop section of the Game in Steam. (https://steamcommunity.com/app/1157700/workshop/)

Subscribing to a workshop item will download it to your computer, where you can easily use it by going to New Game and selecting the Workshop tab.

To upload Game Worlds and/or Image Folders using the Workshop link on the main page of the game, and select your .db file and/or your image folder. Give it a name, a description and an image and you're done!

Please note that Workshop files and folders cannot be modified (your changes would get wiped out every update), and so there is a "Copy to Local Files" button in the workshop section, so you can copy the file locally to edit as you please.

I hope you enjoy, and please let me know if you come into any issues.

  • Overhaul of stat gains and losses. Each worker now gets a Potential stat. This can be randomised or assigned in the editor. When potential hits 0, the worker will peak, and when it hits negative numbers, the worker will start declining in skill.
  • Added auto scroll for left menu in Booking screen
  • Allowed promotions to create new tag teams, or create their own version of an existing tag team
  • Allowed for custom fallback images in game, by putting an events.png, logos.png, network.png, people.png, titles.png, worlds.png or WWN.png (for ratings reports and misc news) into a mod's image folder

  • Title History screens now show the historical title pic that was held in that reign

Update Notes 24 October - Networks are finally here!

Introducing Networks
Networks are how you can show your events to a wider audience. There are three types - TV Networks, PPV Networks and Online Networks, and they can be available in every continent, country and/or region. This replaces the old "distribution" options in the events screen. How big your network is will effect how much workers and the promotion itself gains and loses popularity from booking shows, as well as the income you can make. On the other hand - what you book and who you book will effect the viewership, as ratings are now calculated on a combination of your popularity in the network's regions, as well as segment by segment- based on the popularity of the workers and the segment's rating. This will not break any existing saves, though on first load you may find many promotions scrambling to get network deals, and you should too! A bunch of AI generated networks will appear as soon as the Office loads, if tehre are no networks in that save file. There's a lot of variables here (I think nearly every mechanic in the game was touched in one way or another to make this happen!), and plenty of room for improvement, so if you see anything strange or have any cool ideas please let me know in the Steam Community page, Discord or Twitter. Thank you!

Other changes


  • Added an experimental menu to alter skins on the fly, in the Settings dropdown. Note - edits to the default skins will be wiped out on restart
  • Fixed bug where Angles would only ever have a positive effect
  • Added option for skins to change the colour of modal windows, and panels within modal windows.
  • Cleaned up the news page a little
  • Added a Mark All as Read button on the mail page, and set mail to archive after 18 months
  • Merged PPV and TV in Finances page to a single revenue item "Network Revenue"

Update Notes May 4

Hey all, back again with another release!

So the goal for this one was to add Production settings per promotion and do a ton of balancing, bug fixing and performance. You'll notice shows getting much lower scores - this is by design. Each production setting will hurt the final score of a segment. This means in order to grow, you may have to stretch your money a little to get better scores. It should also prevent every promotion growing too large over time. Hopefully you'll see much more realistic viewership now also.

Update Notes 5 April 2022

Hey all! Hope you're well. I was out of action with illness for a little bit, and since then I've been working on a brand new way to book angles!

So the general idea is that an angle is made up of multiple Story Beats. You can add as many beats to an angle as you like, and each beat is rated on different skills, and the overall score is an average by time of all the beats. The auto booker doesn't do much with these right now, but its at least functional until I flesh it out (every angle is a brawl when the autobooker does its thing)

Whats New


  • Replaced old angle screen with a new Angle Beats screen
  • Added double click to add workers on the booking screen (click a dragging spot first to dictate where double clicking will take them
  • Updated some styles in aurora skin
  • Added support for backdrop filters on panels (creating a nice blur effect on aurora skin)
  • Added support for background videos when a background.mp4 is present in Game Folder (pretty, though a bit more resource intensive!)
  • Fixed bug where people who hadn't debuted could get engaged/married

2022 Goals - Preparing for a full release

Happy new year! One goal I have this year is to try and get the game to a point where I can take it out of Early Access. As part of that effort, I've created a list over the holidays of everything I consider necessary to get the game to that state.

Note - there is no guarantee that all of this will be completed before full release, and I also will probably make a bunch of additional improvements along the way (I keep a separate list of 'nice to haves' that I sometimes pull from when I'm bored of working on larger pieces or have a limited amount of time to add improvements).
