Be the Zombie is getting a Survivor Sense and items update for an improved PvP experience! Thanks to our amazing community members who have been introducing multiple tweaks and balance changes to the mode, Be the Zombie has been getting continuously better throughout the years. Weve been regularly implementing the fixes you asked for, and this upcoming update will release the last round of them. Now you can play with the Survivor Sense even more efficiently, surprising enemies with your enhanced ability. We also decided to remove some items from the Be the Zombie mode to make sure your PvP experience is fair and balanced, and keeps bringing fun to everyone.

The Chicken Ninja is back in town, which means we can get the annual Harran Egg Hunt rolling. As the name of the event suggests, the objective is to collect special Easter eggs the more, the better. You will find them among the usual loot in various containers, but as you explore the city, youll also notice little zombies dressed in white. Those might not exactly be the cute Easter Bunnies we all deserve, but theyre what weve got nevertheless. If you catch and kill one, you get an egg too. In case you wonder why the eggs look like decorated grenades its because thats what they are. They come in four different types and can be used in combat to poison the enemies, freeze them, set them on fire, or knock them out. Excavator Mike is another one of the undead GRE agents we've managed to pin down. Big and strong, he's trying to finish what Joe starteddestroy both the city and its survivors. He also happens to be carrying a recipe for the GRE potion responsible for his mutations. Luckily for you, you're very much alive and able to use the ""GREcipe"" to your advantage. Kill him to get a blueprint for the special mixture. For a short time, it will grant you infinite stamina and boost some of your stats. Based on our currently-on-hold first-person slasher Hellraid, the latest paid DLC introduces an entirely new game mode that you can access through a possessed arcade machine located in the Tower in Harran. Dying Light Hellraid is much more than just a new map. We wanted to really shake things up by fleshing out the dark fantasy vibe of the setting, so we ditched zombies in favor of brand-new enemies. Those weapons you got used to in Harran had to go to, but dont worry, youll get yourselves some new ones in Baals Towers torch-lit corridors and chambers. The DLC comes with its own progression system and as you improve your Hellraid rank, youll gain access to new swords, axes, and hammers. Good news is that you can also wield these completely new weapons outside of the hellish realm, as long as you pay for them with coins awarded for making runs through the dungeon. Oh, yes! In June, we had the exciting chance to watch you play the Beta of the Hellraid DLC. Thanks for your honest feedback, by the way! We spent all July working not only on finishing the DLCs content, but also on implementing your comments. Heres whats new:

• Skeleton warriors now have their own unique set of animations.
• Numerous graphical fixes, including making loot pouches look much more medieval.
• Camouflage is now banned in Hellraid Tower - sorry, Chameleons!

Next week youll get the full Hellraid DLC, complete with a three-story dungeon, new monsters and new weapons, and we hope youll enjoy playing as much as we did creating it!

We are now working on new Dying Light events, new content and new Hellraid updates. Thats right: in typical Techland fashion, we plan to release several free Hellraid DLC updates! The Chicken Ninja is back in town, which means we can get the annual Harran Egg Hunt rolling. As the name of the event suggests, the objective is to collect special Easter eggs the more, the better. You will find them among the usual loot in various containers, but as you explore the city, youll also notice little zombies dressed in white. Those might not exactly be the cute Easter Bunnies we all deserve, but theyre what weve got nevertheless. If you catch and kill one, you get an egg too. In case you wonder why the eggs look like decorated grenades its because thats what they are. They come in four different types and can be used in combat to poison the enemies, freeze them, set them on fire, or knock them out. Today we released a new update to the game - Patch 1.25. Now you can play on a brand new difficulty: Story Mode, which includes:

• Decreased damage dealt by zombies by 25%
• Increased damage dealt by player by 50-100%
• Decreased fall damage by 50%
• Normal attacks use 25% less stamina
• Charged attacks use 50% less stamina
• Medkits are twice as effective
• Player loses 50% less experience points upon death
• Days are longer by 25%
• Nights are shorter by 25%
• Traders pay 20% more for player's items
• Player earns 50% less Legend experience
• Airdrops remain on the map twice as long

We had to deal with some missing additional particles on:

• Last Wish Revolver - additional smoke effect
• Fenris Axe - additional blood effect
• Dragon Ji Polearm - additional fire effect
• Leaping Tiger Dao Sword - additional fire effect

And we did some other things:

• Added new weapons and blueprints
• Added a new explosive device

The undead are trying to ruin Christmas, but fear not, because Super-Crane is back to save the day! Make children in Harran happy by collecting as many presents as you can and delivering them to quartermasters. Youll find lost gifts in airdrops, Rais supply stashes, and quarantine zones, but some got stolen by mischievous Bolters. These scoundrels will make a run for it as soon as they see you (and damn, theyre fast!) but thats when Super-Cranes enhanced grappling hook comes in handy. They might look cute in their little green jackets and striped pants, but youll quickly learn they are mean! Just like thieving Bolters, theyre more numerous in Old Town than the Slums, but instead of presents they drop Christmas Snacks that grant you various short-lasting buffs. You can consume those treats right away or you can use them to make Grandmas Eggnog that temporarily boosts your stamina, armor, and speed. To be able to do that, youll need to complete your personal bounty, as it rewards you with blueprints for Grandmas Eggnog, Snowball (a throwable that freezes enemies in place), and the Santas Helper outfit. All Hallows Eve is upon us, so go to bed in a safehouse and when you wake up, hurry out into the streets of Harran with your candy bag ready. [previewyoutube=RvkKsibL9-U;full][/previewyoutube] To set an eerie mood, weve conjured up stormy weather that drowns out the sounds of approaching horrors with heavy rain and thunder. The infected put their costumes on pumpkin heads, wizard hats, and skeleton masks and carry special Drunken Pumpkin potions that you can loot and drink. Remember, Volatiles drop the most powerful one. The trick is, those potions are not necessarily a treat, as they can either enhance your abilities (e.g. grant you infinite stamina) or make your life harder (try to freerun with your controls reversed!). How do you know which one is which? You dont! You have to drink the potion to find out its effect, but hey, chugging a suspicious concoction never hurt anyone, right? On top of all that you can earn an exclusive Halloween outfit and three King weapon upgrade dockets as rewards for completing challenges. The event ends at 7 pm CET (10 am PST) on November 4th. Survivors, we're back with new content and improvements for Dying Light!

First, let's talk about the latest patch 1.21:

• We've added new types of live events
• Some minor bugs are now gone
• The issue with crashes in The Old Town for the Japanese version of the game is now fixed

That's not all, because today Dying Light meets Left 4 Dead 2 in an exciting crossover event! [previewyoutube=NKSPdrwaUmE;full][/previewyoutube] Two infected worlds collide and you will be in the thick of it. As a homage to Valves magnificent co-op zombie shooter, we brought Left 4 Dead 2 into Dying Light in an exciting crossover event! To recreate the memorable feel of L4D2 in our game, weve introduced some gameplay tweaks. Expect a lot of Virals, whose numbers weve increased to push the attacking hordes into overdrive and intensify your fight for survival as you face waves of infected coming for you. To even out the odds and shift combat towards Valve-esque territory, were also more generous with guns and ammo for you to find. Were sure youre gonna love what comes next! The icing on the cake is the inclusion of three iconic Left 4 Dead 2 melee weapons: Electric Guitar, Frying Pan, and Golf Club. You will find the blueprints in the free DLC, but the most badass variants (orange and gold) are available as rewards for completing challenges and three special Bounties during the event. Go get these toys and have fun delivering crushing riffs, serving killer dishes, and improving your golf swings! So, survivors, remember about these things:

• Quartermaster will be giving out free guns for those ready for the hunt
• Safe Zones will give you the ammunition you need

Survivors, we are back with another batch of new content and improvements for Dying Light!

Lets start with new features we hope youll enjoy:

• weve set a new type of enemy loose, so keep an eye out for Silver Hazmat Gas Tanks more deadly variation
• if you wish to play Dying Light without live events, you can now turn them off and on via Options -> Online -> Live events. This is visible only during a live event
• new section in the games main menu shows available DLCs and lets you access them easily
• additional dockets are now supported (more info coming soon!)

We also sorted out some issues:

• if you have VAC disabled and want to join someone who has VAC on, the game will prompt you that doing so will enable VAC, and let you accept or decline
• some bugs were fixed

• Raining Zombies throw 200 zombies off buildings [Personal Goal]
• Fists of Madness kill 200 zombies with bare fists [Personal Goal]
• Global Community Goal kill 6 000 000 zombies with bare fists and by throwing them off buildings

If youre looking to get something out of this (besides pure fun of obliterating the living dead with style, that is), rest assured you will. Dying Light stealth has just been redefined! Equip your pistols with the silencer and don’t worry about noise anymore. Now your gunshots won’t attract the enemies, which creates completely new stealth opportunities - especially at night. How to get it:

• Your character needs to be at least level 12;
• Talk to the Quartermaster to get the blueprint;
• Find required parts;
• Craft one of the two pistols with the silencer attached;
• Unleash your rage… silently!

Players now have the ability to use all-terrain buggies featured in Dying Light: The Following on custom maps, even if you only own the base game. With that new addition comes also the option to freely modify the driving system and use the buggies in PvP scenarios. To coincide with the latest update, Techland and Razer announced the special ‘Buggy Madness’ contest. Anyone can compete by creating a buggy-based custom map using Dying Light Developers Tools (available for free on Steam) and submitting it at the official contest website. The contest runs from May 19th to June 19th 2016 and aims to select the most creative, enjoyable, and high-quality maps.
