Hello everyone, Here is the patch 1.8 : - Planets are now much more balanced (power & frequence of the attacks) - Balanced weapon firepower (all weapons have been balanced, lasers do a little less damage to shields, accuracy slightly increased (especially for huge weapons)) - Items mass rebalanced - Enemy's armor rating is reduced - Autofight speed inscreased As usual, we took the opportunity to also update the version of the software we are using to code the game, we hope that will solve many compatibility issues (graphic cards, OS, third party softwares...) and improve stability. Hello everyone, There is the patch log for the version 1.7, some of you may have noticed that we released this weekend and yesterday, two very small updates, it was mainly bug fixing and optimisation for the game; here is a more detailed list of the changes we made :
Bugfixing

Hello everyone, Here we are, the new update is available on Steam ! Update 1.6 : Expand ! Why "1.6", the last one was 1.4 ? Nothing important, we update the mobile version accordingly with the PC version, from now, they will share the same version number. Why "Expand" ? Because Into the Void is a 4X game : Explore + Expand + Exploit + Exterminate and we needed a little bit more "expand" and "exploit" in the game to be really a XXXX game. To prepare this "Expand" version we needed you can access all the planets in every mission of the game, it wasn't possible with the previous system, they were all seperated. We did this change in the previous update and it occurs many save problems. In this new update we totally reworked the save system to match the changes.
Global changes
- Loot (including Legendary and Rare items) : you can now scavenge defeated ennemy fleets to find modules ! - Now time can be scrolled from the base - Rebalancing (because of loot and planets appearing, fewer resources from dismanteling items and fewer resources will be gained from battles, 2nd part of the game made a littile harder ;) ) - Saves now in files and not in the registry : will fix windows bug, but corrupted saves won't be possible to restore) - Tooltips : it's a first step to make the game more user friendly and easy to begin.
Expand !
- Colonisation : You can now colonise planets ! - Building : You can build on your colonised planets ! - Capturing : Another faction already colonised a planet ? Capture it !

- Ship's subsystems added: You can now focus a specific part of the ennemy ship! Big shields? Destroy the shield generator first to reduce its efficiency. This new aspect is a part of our global plan to make the fights more interesting and intense, more is coming :)
- Ship's status changes are being shown on the right of the screen: We erase the annoying popup coming during your travels and replace it with a notification system. If you need more information, just click on it to display the popup.
- Planets now have quest name on preview instead of event name
- Rockets are now more accurate
- Broken armor now calculates correctly
- Better enemy queue highlighting
- Research preview now contains it's price
- AI fixes
- Refuel icon is now fixed

Fully command your faction. Build your fleet, arm it with tons of weapons and make all of your enemies’ burn.
You are responsible as a leader of all your choices, your people count on you.
Perform expeditions to outer space; gather ressources and take care of your crew's morale as it greatly influences your power.
You will choose the path through the stars and will discover many surprises.
Research tons of techs. You can't open all of them in one play-through, as there are lots of combinations. Choose your style of combat, adapt your strategy to your ennemies and arm your fleet.
Fight with different opponents. Each faction has its own tactics and technology stack, so you should plan your fleet equipment carefully.
Don't underestime the factions : En Eire, Kalthem, Auslia or The Brigadier's of Armageddon.
Space is a serious business. In space, there's no place to mistakes. So choose your options wisely, as turn-based system fully allows that.
