Hi everyone!
We are currently quite busy with various productions, and because of all those works in progress, we are sorry to announce that Hover DLCs are not quite ready yet. The Xbox One version is lagging behind and preventing us from releasing the DLCs on others platforms.
A corrective patch for PC is also planned!
We are sorry for the delay, and are trying our best to release the DLCs as soon as possible!
Thank you for the support,
Midgar Studio team

Fusty Game, Midgar Studio and The Sidekicks are proud to announce that after a successful Kickstarter in 2014 and a very fertile Early Access period, Hover : Revolt of Gamers is now released on PC, Mac and Linux.
It’s a real achievement for the Fusty Game team, composed of only 3 young developers who received the support of Midgar Studio on the home stretch of the early access.
Hover: Revolt of Gamers offers an unique experience based on a fast-paced gameplay yet without violence, guns or blood. It’s all about “Parkouring” an incredible city, high speed racing, mega jumps, tricks and combos in a wide futuristic open world.
Hover takes you to ECP17, also called Hover City, a high-tech city built on a distant planet where the Great Admin established a strong dictatorship and banned any kind of entertainment.
Players are in charge of a team of young rebels, the Gamers, equipped with high-tech gears allowing amazing jumps and speed. They roam the city to fight against the new anti-leisure laws, sabotage the propaganda, help citizens, and find a way to put an end to the oppression.
Hover’s buildings offer breathtaking vertical playgrounds where you will have to prove your value. Deride the security forces, rise up to many challenges, assemble the best possible, upgrade your gear and experience the adrenaline of speed and height.
Hover : Revolt of Gamers is both a single and multiplayer experience. At any time you can switch from offline to online mode and join your friends or players from around the world. You can progress through the adventure by cooperating or play against them. Hover : Revolt of Gamers is a community-driven game offering many tools to players to create missions or mini games.
Today’s launch comes with an impressive update that doubles the game content compared to Early Access.
Here’s the full game content overview :
The unique experience offered to the players is strengthened by a colorful sci-fi world, full of Easter eggs, and, on the top of it, an amazing electro soundtrack including exclusive tracks from Jet Set Radio composer Hideki Naganuma. By the way the full OST is also now available as a DLC.
Hover : Revolt of Gamers is released today in 7 languages : English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and Korean.

We will publish detailed posts about the release content in the coming days.
Note that consoles release is expected Q4 2017!
We released today a major patch for the Early Access on Steam. It brings many new cool stuff into the game and solves a bunch of minor issues.
New Stuff :
- Hideki's Musics are here! As you know, we have the great pleasure to partner with Hideki Naganuma as guest composer for Hover: Revolt of Gamers. As a reminder, Hideki is the composer of Jet Set Radio, Jet Set Radio Future, Sonic Rush, and many more great video game soundtracks. You can listen to Hideki's tracks by going to the Fusty Pub or to the Gamer’s HQ!
- The Trick Score System is back! Tricks don’t give energy anymore, but they increase your score, which in turn will give you more energy at the end of a trick combo. Grinding and sliding will keep giving energy instantly. After a 100 points trick combo, you will generate an Energy Aura, it’s useful to boost your allies, open special containers or for some missions.
- 2 New Mission Types : Trickscore missions and Condenser.
- Two missions added in district A
- The Codex has been updated!

- You cannot interact with items during custom missions or when creating custom missions.
- Steam must be open to be able to play.

Hello there, and Merry Christmas :) !
We’ve just updated Hover !
The main change is the arrival of the new skill system.
Now you will be able to complete your character's skillgrid with all sorts of skill chips.
You can find these chips in chests that are scattered across the city, they also come as rewards from missions.
You'll be also able to use the E-Swap points to gamble your cheap chips and take a chance to get a better quality chip.
Other kinds of chips will be added in future updates.
For more infos concerning this update have a look at the changelog : http://steamcommunity.com/games/280180/announcements/detail/282996938559684691
New skill and item grid have been added to increase character’s stats . Containers have been scattered accross the map and contain new items. E-shop points now let you exchange chips for a chance to grab better ones (use with caution, don’t develop a gambling addiction). Missions now rewards players with chips. All characters traits have been recreated and balanced. Fewer vibrations during grind. Fixed Watabax’s deformed back. In game time has been debugged, sometimes it used to accelerate a lot and broke the timer during missions. Walljumps don’t trigger if your character can grab an edge. Balance on grind has been tweaked.
News: Anon Breaker now available to unlock! New game mode : Gameball races! 3 new missions have been added in the Haven District (the actual main map) given by Gally ( > DNA-Kits of the Breaker Girl and Boy). The Pet sensations mission (given by Potate) was changed into a solo gameball race. A new difficult Gameball race mission was added in the Sewers. AI was improved for better pathfinding. It will keep being improved in the next updates. Some objects were added in the haven District to fill some empty areas. New bumpers and laser doors were also added. Most laser doors - that activate when we are detected by cameras - are now breakable (a different texture will be added in a next update to distinguish the unbreakable ones better) Graphics: Chat and object list are now colored and way more easy to read. During missions with multiple teams, they each have their own chat color to differentiate them. The UI energy bar was visually improved, now there is lightning effects on the bar on Hoverheat. The frame font was changed. E-Deki material is more metallic now. Improvement of some player animations : running, grinding, waiting. Characters don't have bent legs anymore. IKs (procedural placement of foot) are now smoother and stable. They also follow grinds way better. Spydrones are now looking at the direction of their next move to let you anticipate their moves. They also stay in panic animation when they have no more energy. Debug: Shadows can now be abled/disabled in the menu (they weren't since the UI update). It's a big performance gain for weaker PC configurations. You can't cheat anymore by manipulating a custom mission save to make objects that are normally not available spawn. The "-" character is now authorized in characters/teams/missions names. The mission editor has been cleaned up : - you now get an alert when the name of the mission you are creating contains a special characters. - the maximum time for a custom mission is now 720 seconds (240 before). - small arrows were added to setup the time and score in a more precise way. - the small flag icon in the object list is not displayed when the object belongs to no team. - the automatic camera rotation is disabled when placing an object in the editor. - objects now have the same numbering in editor and ingame. - the sliders in the menu lists don't reset anymore when something is modified, when an object is added in the editor for example. Balls are not frozen during 3sec if they spawn on the ground. Missions are no longer lost if the timer reaches zero and AI has less points than the player. You can't do a super jump on a bumper anymore, and some bumper chains are now easier to take. Checkpoint texture was improved, and will surely be again in further updates. You can't escape from an arrest anymore by quitting the game or by changing characters before being sent into prison. (Take that you delinquents!) Balls and NPCs don't draw attention to cameras anymore. The Mento guy giving a grind advice in Korupa got his dialog modified. The DNA-Kits are now stocked in the general save (it was by team before). If a Kit is unlocked by a team, all your teams can access it too. The E-Cop is now unlockable again (it wasn't since the new UI update). The first dialog of Otello in Korupa has been changed to let players know what he expects of you. Minor model changes on characters to enhance animations (Watabax still needs a fix). The 3 big waterfalls in Garbage Village now wet the player when passing through. In the characters selection page, the names of the characters can't hang over their square anymore. NPCs skills got tweaked.
News: Sound effects added in the menus (new UI). Debug: Double point bug happening on extract zones has been solved (for good this time, hopefully…) Default control templates can't be altered by another template anymore. Mission registering areas now work immediately after connecting to a server. Delay to start chatting after pressing “Enter” has been reduced. Player list is now correctly displayed online.
Hover: Revolt of gamers gets a major update today with two additions that will change your ingame experience.
New User Interface
First of all, we are releasing the brand new user interface. We took advantage of your feedbacks to improve every aspect of our UI. The new one is a lot nicer visually but also offers a smoother and more intuitive navigation through menus and options.
We changed everything from the design and the settings. We hope you will like it.
As you will see this new UI displays quite some “WIP” features. You can see there’s a lot more coming on the statistic and equipment side!
Team based gameplay
This may change quite a bit the way you play Hover: Revolt of Gamers.
Starting from this update, you can manage your playable characters and create teams of 5. Ingame you will now be able to switch from one character to another when ever you like without going back to the main map. You even have an Hotkey to do so (“T” by default).
This change also affects the way you are progressing in the game as you now progress with your team instead of having a different progression for each character.
Please, give us your feedback on these two changes to the game, it’s an important improvement to us.

About Key Issues
We noticed many of you got problems with the early access Steam Key. Please remember this is not the final product key, it’s a gift for all backers, not the final product you ordered from Kickstarter. When the game is ready for release, we will send a new survey with the option to choose the platform you want.
Anyway we made some adjustments on our team to respond more quickly. Still, if you haven’t received an early access key or have a duplicate key problems, please send a word with your backer mail on this new email hover@thesidek.com

That being said lets introduce this update’ highlithgt, our next special stage: The Sewer and the Secret base of the Gamer Resistance.
After a few missions, you will unlock the access to The Sewer. This is the playground of the Gamer Resistance and that is where their secret base is hidden. The Resistance HQ is well hidden deep inside the Sewers and the player will have to prove his skills by passing a climbing test before he can enter.
Inside the headquarters, the player can learn more about the personal stories of the main characters, their relationships or their lifestyle.
In the other areas of the Sewers, the player will find various themed events such as different races or Gameball games. In order to clear all the challenges offered by this special stage, you will need several characters with different specializations (speed, strength, grind etc).
And, here is a work in progress of the Anonymous Breaker, a new playable character.
Anonymous Breaker WIP
