More updates, features and improvements! I'm not going to abandon United Assault - Normandy'44! Both games are build with the same code base and allows me to patch new features and improvements from Battle of the Bulge back into Normandy '44. All gameplay, gunplay and AI improvements will find it's way into Normandy'44 as well as several new weapons! If you don't want Battle of the Bulge, you still benefit from its development and get regular news updates.

I asked on Social Media, Steam and other platforms what you want to see in the future. Here is the evaluation of this survey with 983 participants at the time of evaluation.

FPS games are by far (35%) the most requested games, as we develop mostly FPS games this is no big surprise. Followed by this are Simulation (14%) and Role Playing (13%) and Third Person Shooter and Action Adventire (12%). Beyond Enemy Lines - The Role Playing experience? How would this sound to you? We will continue to focus on FPS games but will definitly consider developing smaller games in the other genres in the future. We also asked which game you would like to see next. 35% of you want to see a new franchise, 28% a new Beyond Enemy Lines and as United Assault is still a very fresh game it already gathered a respectful 23%. As both Beyond Enemy Lines and United Assault got new content and games revealed in this news, let's jump to the new franchise ... The new franchise We asked for suggestions which game you would like to see. And apparently you have a very clear goal in mind for us. You want to see from us in the future: A Singleplayer FPS with focus on Story, more linear gameplay with occasionally larger areas with more freedom. The games you mentioned where shocklingly simmilar.

What is Beyond Enemy Lines 2?

How difficult is this game?


Very difficult! Beyond Enemy Lines 2 provides no handholding and punishes your mistakes with a fast ingame death. It takes time to master the weapon handling and know how to use the terrain to your advantage. Being difficult is a core component of this game! There are some options to tweak the difficulty mode, but even then it's not comparable to a Mainstream game.

Is this game like Call of Duty?


No! If you are looking for a experience simmilar to Call of Duty, then Beyond Enemy Lines 2 is not what you are looking for. Sure you can have a ton of action packed gameplay, but this requires a very large amount of skill and is definitly not easy!

Is there any Replayability?


Yes! All missions have multiple ways to complete them, optional mission objectives, assignements and a final mission rating. You can compare your mission stats with the traget stats and your personal best. The AI is not scripted and can always take a different patrol path, reacts different for each combat situation. Every time you try a mission, something will be different.

Why is the Multiplayer in Early Access?


Because this game is developed by a single person. Initially it was planned to release the Multiplayer post launch as a free update but it's now in a that stable stat that I don't want to hold it back. But as I'm the only person working on this game, it's hard even with several Beta's and stress tests to get a feeling how it will perform in the public. In all tests there where no gamebreaking bugs, but please do not expect a entirly bug free experience at this point.

Which gamemodes are available?


Singleplayer Multiplayer -> Conquest, Team-Deathmatch and Coop

How different is this game from the first Beyond Enemy Lines?


Everything in Beyond Enemy Lines 2 is developed from the ground up new. Everything got reworked and improved, features replaced (like the map computer). While Beyond Enemy Lines 2 keeps the feeling of the original, it's a far more immersive experience in larger and more complex missions, better AI and even more freedom with the weapon customizations.

Do I need to know Beyond Enemy Lines 1?


No.

Is this game a spiritual successor of Project IGI?


Yes and No! While the first Beyond Enemy Lines was designed as a spiritual successor of Project IGI, Beyond Enemy Lines 2 takes a step further. Missions are larger and more open and do not only focus in infiltrating a compound. However, the roots to Project IGI are still very much noticable. Do you have any other questions? Warhead Campaign


Trainyard is the first mission of the Warhead Campaign, your mission is to find and secure Mikhail Volkov. Content: 1 Mission at Launch (7 additional following until December 2019 as DLC's) Playtime: ~1h per Mission (on first run, depending on skill and playstyle) Story: This mission has top priority. Target: Mikhail Volkov. You are to locate him and bring him out for debriefing. Mikhail Volkov is our only link with the heist of the warhead. Mikhail is held at a military tank base. The whole area has excellent air defenced. We have to place you some distance from the target until those defenses are disabled. You will travel to the next goods yard - there you will resource transportation. Server, Security and Anti-Cheat

Dedicated Server


Beyond Enemy Lines 2 will launch with a Multiplayer and so servers are a big topic. You want a quick match with a friend? Just host a Peer-2-Peer (P2P) session from ingame and your friends can join. You want to run a 24/7 Server, then a dedicated server is the best way for you. Dedicated Server Files are included and you can either start them from within your Beyond Enemy Lines 2 installation with the DedicatedServer.exe or the Beyond Enemy Lines 2 Dedicated Server Tool available in the Tools section or for download with SteamCMD. Dedicated Server files are currently only available for Windows. Launching the DedicatedServer.exe will open this window:
This window let you setup your server. By pressing "LAUNCH SERVER" your settings will be saved and the server will be started. Starting the DedicatedServer.exe will reload your last saved settings. Changing the gamemode will result in reseting the core options to the gamemode default settings. Server Stats:
  • Default Tick Rate 60hz
  • Default Port 7777
IMPORTANT: We had on some systems the issue that opening the Port 7777 was not enought to get the Server registrated on the Steam Master Server. A workaround would be to forward the entire Server.exe trough your firewall. Definitly not an ideal situation but a workaround. The Server.exe to forward is located in this folder: ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Beyond Enemy Lines 2\BeyondEnemyLines2\Binaries\Win64\BeyondEnemyLines2Server.exe The Server Manager opens by clicking Server Manager in the Dedicated Server Launcher and will open up this window:
This window let you communicated with your gameserver and is until ingame RCON is fully implemented the only way to interact with your server except of shutting it down. Update Player List This will fill the list of players on the right sight of the window with checkboxes for each player. Kick/Ban Player All selected players in the Player List will be either kicked or banned. End Match Will end the current match and the server will switch to the next map. Server Message Will print a message with the sender Admin to the ingame text chat. Warning: If you execute a new command before the last one was executed, you will overwrite the commands. You can not stack the commands. Each time you press EXECUTE COMMAND, the tool will request the selected options from the server. As the Server is checking every 60 seconds for new commands, it could take up to 60 seconds until you see the result.

Anti-Cheat


VAC Beyond Enemy Lines 2 utilizes VAC to detect cheats and hacks in the game as well as Gameban those players. Anti-Memory Injection All important variables are protected against Memory Injection and the game checks for memory injection tools and will crash once such a tool is running. Server Sided Variables All the important variables which are also projected against memory injection are running on the server. Weapon Handling is entire server sided and only result in actions visible to the server. Beyond Enemy Lines 2 does not deal damage on the client side and let the sever confirm this. Here the server gets a request to shoot a weapon from the client and the server checks the players current location, fires the weapon and broadcasts the result. Global Ban List On each Map change, every Server (Dedicated or P2P trough ingame hosting) will fetch a Polygon Art Ban list. This Ban List contains SteamIDs of players with a game ban. Once a Player joins a server, it's Steam ID gets validated. If invalid the player gets kicked instantly. With each update after the release, the then current ban list will be updated and hard coded in the game as a backup, if the online ban list was not successfully fetched. Warning: Not only cheating and hacking will result in a game ban. Toxic, racist or other inappropriate behavior ingame or in this community can result in a game ban! Active Admin + Local Ban List Server Admins can activly kick and ban players from their server. Server Bans will result in a Local Ban List which works exactly like the Global Ban List but only for this server. This Local Ban List works for Dedicated and Player Hosted P2P Servers. Multiplayer


Conquest A large-scale game mode with up to 32 players fighting for the control of key objectives. The team holding the most objectives is in the lead and will drain the enemies tickets. The team with the most tickets left at the end of a round wins. Kills and objective captures will reward you with money, which can be used to buy new weapons and equipment. There are no predefined classes! Conquest will support Ground vehicles at launch only. Air vehicles are in development and are added as free post launch content.

Welcome Agent, the first big test event is on the horizon and starting tomorrow!

When?

How do I join?


There will be Steam-Keys spread across the Steam Community Hub, Facebook, Twitter, and Discord as well as some handpicked from the recent Alpha Test Signup.

Whast part of the Test?


There will be one mission (CQ_RecruitCamp) and one Gamemode (Conquest). All Weapons, Bot support and Player Ranks are available. The Rank does not transist into the final game.

Can I stream or upload Gameplay videos?


Yes you can, but makre sure to clearly mark this as a Stress Test!

Whats about to be tested?


The overall game stability, gamebreaking bugs and server performance. There will be only official EU servers available for this test, we want to test how Servers react to a huge load with high pings. Beyond Enemy Lines: Covert Operations


Beyond Enemy Lines: Covert Operations is taking the unique Beyond Enemy Lines gameplay to the Nintendo Switch. And is one of the first hardcore tactical FPS for Nintendos console. Beyond Enemy Lines: Covert Operations is a port of the 8 mission long story campaign of Beyond Enemy Lines from 2017. It contains the full experience of it's PCs bigger brother. While running on an entirly new game core directly adapted for the use on Nintendo Switch. Features:

Today we can celebrate the 2nd Anniversary of Beyond Enemy Lines and its all about the number 2. For today we have the massive 2nd Anniversary Update, 2 big announcements and development update on Beyond Enemy Lines 2. This post is all about the 2nd Anniversary Update, an additional post with the announcements will be available soon! A new update for Beyond Enemy Lines is now available and adding an entirely overhaul Operation Arctic Hawk Campaign (DLC required to play), drastically improved AI, Gunplay and a general visual update. Besides the overhault Operation Arctic Hawk the AI got the most attention. With its new ability to flank the player it is even more dangerous in hunting the player. While giving the enemies new Animations and a entirly new balancing.

Hello everyone, it's time to get you all updated on the current development progress of Beyond Enemy Lines 1 &2, talk about the Linux version of BEL 1.

Beyond Enemy Lines 1


Update v31260 A new update for Beyond Enemy Lines 1 is now available and improves certain elements of the AI, Animations and several other bug fixes. While Beyond Enemy Lines was released over 1 1/2 years ago I want to update and maintain Beyond Enemy Lines as often as possible. This is truly no longer the pace of last year as the main focus is on the development of Beyond Enemy Lines 2 (more details below). Here is the changelog: v31260 Changelog (26. September 2018) Weapons: - improved Weapon field of view while aiming AI: - updated Animation transistions - added ability that AI can now shoot while walking in certain situations - updated AI aiming visualization Other - updated Engine to Unreal Engine 4.20 - updated options to toogle crouch and aim - removed several minor bugs and glitches Linux Version Bad news first, the Linux version is utterly broken. After weeks of testing, fixing and talking to Epic Stuff and other Unreal Engine 4 developers, the development of the Linux Version reached a dead end. And here is why: After weeks of testing, debugging it is still unclear where the stabability issues are coming from. All crashlogs are empty and the reason could be burried within the Unreal Engine 4 code or the game code itself. The source and reason is unknown. Another Problem is that while the continued progress of updating the Windows Version including the Engine version, at some point the map files got incompatable to the Linux version. Which means loading the Map will instantly result in a crash on Linux (reason also unclear) but could be fix be recreating the Map files. ==> All Maps would need a recreation and then the game would still crash for no apparent reason on most systems. The costs at this point are that high that a futher development would never pay the bills. It's very sad but at this time the Linux Development is on hold. I'll come back to Linux when there is some more time. Rhight now it's just a to massive undertaking for a one man developer. Sorry Linux gamers, I'll still try my best to make it happen some time.

Beyond Enemy Lines 2 Development Update


Beyond Enemy Lines 2 is on a good way, it's big, it's loud and growing fast! I'm developing mostly in silence on a truly amazing sequel to Beyond Enemy Lines. All critics of the original game was heard and improved. Gunplay is a lot more thigh and gives the player more feedback, AI reacts more realistic, Missions are larger, more complex and by far more detailed. And with Beyond Enemy Lines 2 we will have the first true night mission.

New Free Mission


With the Anniversary Update a new mission called "Project Iron Comet" was added to Beyond Enemy Lines. This was one of the first missiones ever created for Beyond Enemey Lines and served the purpose of testing the AI. Comparison of the same map from 2015 and 2018
The mission got visually reworked while the layout stayed the same over the years. Yet this is kind of a special mission. It's short, it's dark, it's hard! Visibility on this mission is (on purpose) very hard and using night vision goggles is highly recommended.

Along with the new mission, several changes and additions where made to the game. <> Projectile and Hitbox Collision was entirely reworked <> Weapons get blocked while standing near a wall or object This is early BETA and is very limited as all object collisions in the game where not designed for this methode, weapon block do only work at certain angles. If you encounter any bugs/issues please report them in the community hub. <> Online News On start Beyond Enemy Lines is now connecting to a server and downloads ~300kb of data to display a news message. No data from your PC is delivered to the server! If you are offline or block the connection for Beyond Enemy Lines a simple default welcome message is displayed v31250 Changelog (21. What is different to Beyond Enemy Lines 1?


Beyond Enemy Lines 2 is an evolution of Beyond Enemy Lines 1 and will change a lot of things introduced in the first game. While the original Beyond Enemy Lines was a spiritual successor to Project IGI and stick very close to it's roots, Beyond Enemy Lines 2 is no longer "limited" in this way and is a more complex and evolved tactical FPS. (Personal note: I just don't like to develop a sequel which is more or less a reskin of an existing game with only 1-2 changes) One thing which got removed first was the Map Computer as it is no longer required to plan your tactics. Missions are designed in a clearer and more readable way and the introduction of customizable weapons required some rebalancing. Out of the same reason the carried weapons are limited to a primary and secondary weapon as well as a backup pistol. In other words you can carry only 3 weapons at a time. The player movements were expanded by adding lean and prone funcionallity. Weapons handle like real weapons and fires into the direction of where the barrel is pointing at. Which means each move of the weapon affected the bullet impact location. Oh and one more thing ... weapons do no longer clip trough objects!

Multiplayer?


Yes? No? Possible! Beyond Enemy Lines 2 is a singleplayer game just like Beyond Enemy Lines 1. But I heard your request of Multiplayer and Coop and Beyond Enemy Lines 2 is developed with Multiplayer in mind. Due to the fact I'm still a single person developing the game, I have no resources to develop Singleplayer, Multiplayer and Coop at the same time in a decent quality. Singleplayer first and then we will see. A small Multiplayer Prototype is up and running and it's very possible to see the Multiplayer as a seperate spin off game at a later date.

This new update replaces ~95% of all indoor objects with new, high resolution objects as well es several outdoor objects. Render mode has been switch to prebaked shadowmaps for buildings for a more realistic atmosphere. Switching to prebaked shadows and the new high resolution textures results in a increased file size from ~9GB to now 16GB. This changes do not affact Operation Actic Hawk or the Editor. Beyond Enemy Lines shines in new light!



A new update improving the visuals of Beyond Enemy Lines is now available for free. New Tree mdoels, improved, post processing , new character models and improved animations as well es a reworked gunplay let to one of the larges updates for Beyond Enemy Lines ever! Read all changes in the attached changelog below.

Performance:


While improving the overall visuals the goal was to keep the same system requirements as before for the highest settings. While the update perform very well on most of the systems, some older GPUs can have issues with the enhanced post processing. Reducing the post processing quality in the options should solve most performance issues. -> The new medium settings are equal to the highest in older versions. Please take a few moments to adjust your settings if necessary. If you want to play the old version or have any issues with the new visuals, a new legacy branch is now available in the Beta tab within the properties (Steam). v30900 Changelog (15. Massive Graphic Update incoming!

Beyond Enemy Lines will receive a big graphical update!



New version on top, release version (21 Feb, 2017) below. This upcoming update will replace and rescale several tree models, enhance light and post processing on all base game missions. Along side with those changes several new character models will be introduced, the player movement drastically improved as well as several glitches fixed and some slight adjustments on the gunplay.

A new version for Beyond Enemy Lines is now available adding new features and improving existing features. The number of allowed imported missions was increased from 10 to 25. C4 Mission Targets show an explosion at the end of a mission (this instantly works with older missions and no further changes are required). A HUD Info Object was added to the World Settings, allowing you to tell a story with ingame text pop ups. The Properties Panel for Objects was replaced by a permanantly visible Properties menu. Moving and Rotating objects are now nolonger possible with a mouse and is replaced with a new system. Rotations now work with a grid system (the same way as the movement works). Therefore a Rotation Grid box was added. Rotations are now done with the keys NUM 4, NUM 6, NUM 8, NUM 2, NUM 7, NUM 6 or J, L, I, M, U, O. Num 5 and K are used to reset the rotation of an Object to (0,0,0). v30775 Changelog (18. Mission Editor, Linux Version and Bugfixes released!


Mission Editor now available as public Beta


The Mission Editor for Beyond Enemy Lines is now available for everyone to play and test with. To get started with the Editor, I preprared two Guides for you: Editor Guide Tool Guide Please remember: The Editor is in Beta state, so expect some bugs and issues. Report all bugs, issues and ideas how to improve the Editor to help building a stable and reliable version. The Editor launches with a limited amount of objects as well as no support for grass and roads. More Objects are planned to be released with each update, the vegetation system is in early concept stage and is likely to change with grass support added later.

Linux Beta branch


An early Linux version is also now available to download from a seperate linux branch. This version does not contain any support for DLCs and Mission Editor right now and is for available for testing purposes only. Please report all issues and problems here as well.

Mission Editor Release Details


Hello everyone, as you might already have assumed - the Editor won't get released in June anymore. I wanted to add some more features and polish some aspects of the Workshop Tools. New estimated release date is mid July. I'm calculating with 13th July 2017 but it's possible it's a bit earlier or later. Upcoming Update - Free Mission Facility + Status Update


The third free content update introduces the mission Facility to Beyond Enemy Lines. Facility is a large scale mission with a total of 5 mission objectives and is starting a new era of mission design in Beyond Enemy Lines. Facility Release: soon (in verification at Valve)

Boosting the Performance:


Alongside with the Facility Mission the new performance update goes live which is enhancing the light propagation and the general performance by ~15% due to the introduction of proper multithreading. The Material System is also switched from traditional Diffuse Material to PBR Material allowing a more natural look with more depth in textures while keeping the same system requirements (VRAM) and performance as the old system. In other words: Beyond Enemy Lines looks now better then ever with an even better performance!

New Possibilities:


The new one performance allows new possibilities like a more dense vegetation. Facility is the first mission taking advantage of those new possibilities and is able to draw double the amount of vegetation with a higher view distance than previous missions.

The last one of it's kind:


Facility is the first mission to benefit from the performance bust but will also be the last one showcasing the old Landscape look. I'm working hard on a new way to render and display landscapes in a more natural and realistic way. The fourth free mission (yes there will be another one) will feature a realistic landscape look later this year.

Mission Editor:


Good news for all creative players waiting for the Beyond Enemy Lines Mission Editor. All critical bugs (AI) are resolved and the Editor is fully working. But there is still some work left to do:
  • remove visual, non critical bugs
  • improve editor controls
  • finalize workshop tools
  • write tutorial guids and tooltips

I think it's about time that I say a loud THANK YOU to all of you! Since the release of Beyond Enemy Lines back in february it was a very stressfull but amazing time. You created an amazing, friendly and constructive community for which it's a pleasure to work for! Everyone who contributed their thoughts, ideas, reported a bug or just played Beyond Enemy Lines - thank you very much! It was a long journey and it's not over ...

The future of Beyond Enemy Lines


Updates: I'm currently working on updating the Engine from Unreal Engine 4.13 to 4.16 and reworking parts of the code to allow propper multithreading (where possible and supported). This worked payed off very well and resulted into a performance boost of ~15%. I'm also researching the possibilities of reworking all material shaders for an enhanced graphics, if - when - how is unknown and will be announced in the near future. I'm also working on the next free Mission Update which is adding another large scale map to Beyond Enemy Lines. Ubdate release date: TBA Mission Editor: The Mission Editor es developing in a solid state and is pretty much fully usable. The associated Workshop tools are in the final state and are 95% done and working properly. But as always with such big projects someone won't cooperate. In this case: the AI. I hoped to have solved all remaining issues of the AI by today but unfortunately not. The AI is almost fully functional, gets spawned correctly, is reacting properly to the Player but for some reason won't patrol along waypoints. To make it even stranger - if I create a mission in a Preview Build running withing the Unreal Engine 4 Editor, the AI is working. If I load this mission into a standalone build used in a Steam Beta Branch the AI works fine and moves along the waypoints. Only if a mission is created from within a standalone build, the AI won't work properly. So there are still some problems but I hope I'm able to sort the out in the next days. I'm planning to release a public beta of the editor in June 2017 with a limited amount of assets (all remaining assets will be added later with free updates).

The future of Polygon Art


The Next Game Project (TNGP): I'm proud to announce that Polygon Art is currently working on a new Project which will be revealed later this year. This also means that most of the resources and work are now redirected the the new Project and there is less time available to work on Beyond Enemy Lines. This will result in a large time span between new updates for Beyond Enemy Lines. But don't worry, the support for Beyond Enemy Lines won't stop and more content is planned to be released over the next month. Polygon Art Value: I'm also very proud to announce Polygon Art Value, a newly foundet team of 5 higly talented game design students. Working together with me as the Project Lead, the goal of Polygon Art Value is to develop small and entertaining game for various platforms. The first project is set to be released this summer. Here’s the situation: Zykov escaped on your last mission, he is still our priority target. Intel was able to locate an arms dealer with a connection to Zykov in this region. We don’t know who he is or his exact location, but we hope to receive more information about Zykov’s whereabouts from him. We had another Agent on the mission to observe and arrest him, his signal was lost 12 hours ago. Intel thinks he was takes hostage by the arms dealer somewhere around this region. This is your objective: locate and rescue our agent and retrieve as much information as possible. We need names, locations and all the data you can find!

Upcoming update coming along with Expansion


The first expansion for Beyond Enemy Lines will be released this month and along with it's release there will be a major update available for the base game. Here are all the changes:

  • added new Campaign selection screen
  • added 4 new weapon slots for the new expansion weapons
  • added editor core code (but currently disabled for public use)
  • added new DLC licence check system
  • added new achievements for DLC owners
  • reworked several sounds
  • remove >100 non critical warnings in the code
The update addes all Operation: Arctic Hawk related files als well as all Editor files to the base game. DLCs from now on contain ownly a licence check to unlock ingame items and no additional downloads are required. This decision was made due to fact that the editor needs always all files and a seperat download wouldn't change much. So the filesize will increase around 1GB to 6GB in total. The owners of the Military Airfield Donation DLC and Dome Donation DLC will recieve an additional supporter achievement the next time the mission is completed. Beyond Enemy Lines will recieve it's first paid expansioncalled Operation Arctic Hawk. It comes with a 4 mission long new Story set in siberia after the events of Beyond Enemy Lines.It introduces a winter themed graphical set and 4 new weapons as well as dynamical weather changes and a night mission. Operation Arctic Hawk will be a paid expension, wether the price is not set, expect it to be under $10. This expansion does not only serve the purpose to add more content to the game, it's helps to fund the continued support and the development of the ingame editor introduced in the next part. A frequently requested features arrives for Beyond Enemy Lines - The Mission Editor! Create your own Mission with the build in Editor within minutesand no programming knowledge is required! Drop the Objects you like into the mission. Move, rotate or delete them, change the landscape and day of time on the fly. Playtest it directly within the editor and if your creations works just fine, upload it to the Steam Workshop and share it with your friends or the entire Beyond Enemy Lines Community. The Editor will be released for free to every owner of Beyond Enemy Lines with full Steam Workshop integration and the graphical set of the main game. Update v30300 released - AI and Weapon Update


v30300 Changelog (03. April 2017) Weapons: - slightly increased damage of all weapons - reworked bullet physics - resized bullet size to a more realistic size - reworked sniper recoil - added bullet trace to sniper bullets - reworked hit registration (from AI accept damage to bullet deal damage) AI: - reworked AI code - purified Cover Search Algorithm (Runtime O(n^3) -> O(n^2)) - removed 2 deadlocks in state machine - AI nolonger starts by default, now gets called by AI-Manager when ready - increased hear radius from 1200 to 1650 - AI can now react to nearby bullet impacts (depending on surface and distance -> reaction is randomized, bullets can be ignored or path to "check impact" is to long) - AI now returns smoothly when hear or see player (somethimes rotates long way -> needs additional research) - AI is now playing a fire animation when shooting Other: - cleaned and improved code - added casual option to settings menu

    Advanced Fighting Mechanics

    You will fight with various weapons against a numerically superior enemy. Make sure to use all available tactical elements and gadgets to decide the struggle in your favor.
    Use your knife, a silenced pistol, the map computer or even a whistle to distract guards and strike from the shadows. Or grab an assault rifle and a shotgun and go the offensive way!

    Unlimited Solution System

    All missions are designed in an open way. There are thousands of routes, so make use of your equipment to find the most efficient way of completing your mission!

    Noise Calculation System

    Beyond Enemy Lines utilizes a movement based noise calculation system. Each move or action will result in a noise with a different intensity, calculated from your movement.
    Act carefully, the enemy will hear you!

    Content

    Beyond Enemy Lines offers an eight missions long campaign and two special standalone missions, with a combined average playtime of 10-15h on the first playtrough. Operation: Arctic Hawk, the first DLC adds an additional 4 mission long campaign. Size the release three additional new standalone missions, each with an average playtime of 1h, wehre released for free. Several more will be added in the coming months.

    Replayability

    Beyond Enemy Lines is a hardcore tactical shooter and specifically designed to be replayed numerous times. There are no savegames while in a mission, so beating the game becomes a real challenge. It takes patience and dedication to beat this game, which makes it stand out among casual titles that are so prevalent in current times. Expect your raw skill to be tested in an unforgiving way!
