- However, they should be more willing to leave at the lowest levels of happiness
- Employees will generate with slightly lower base stats
- All starting employees for start-up specialization will be slightly better
- Employees will have slightly lower salary expectancy
- Flat bonus equipment is now considered tier 2 (was tier 3), costs $1000 and gives +1 to corresponding skill (was $5000 for +5)
- Percentage bonus equipment is now considered tier 3 with it's stats remaining unchanged
- Offered projects will be slightly bigger in size, reward and deadline
- TOP market projects will be significantly bigger at the start of the game, making it harder for the player to produce a project that will reach TOP 10
- Slightly increased own project income to offset the change above
- Methodologies now cost $5000 to unlock (was $10000)
- Credit score will increase faster, making larger loans accessible earlier
Hey there, We have a surprise party waiting for you! Our new game Cryptofall is almost ready for beta-testing. All Go to IT players will be invited to join for free! - https://store.steampowered.com/app/996180?beta=1 Cryptofall started as a minor part of Go to IT. We liked it so much! Soon we noticed that our players also like it. So we added some new functionality, and a then a bit more, and more. Suddenly we realized that crypto trading in Go to IT is turning into a totally separate and independent game. Meet Cryptofall - complex, challenging and fun game about crypto trading. In Cryptofall you can: - check trends, analyze data and make decisions on when to buy or sell altcoins, - buy and sell shares to participate in the corporate strategy, - explore different ways to get passive income, including miners and dividends, - diversify your portfolio and outsmart the volatile market. If you are a Go to IT player, you have a chance to get Cryptofall for free. All you have to do is to leave your feedback. Tell us what you really think, criticism is also welcomed. We value your opinion and we are always happy to improve the game. Submit a review, and our support team will contact you. You'll get access to Cryftofall beta-testing, and Cryftofall will be yours for free, all future updates included. We are going to remove crypto trading from Go to IT, so it would be unfair not to give Cryftofall to our current players as a present. After all, it was you who gave us thoughtful feedback and priceless support. Add Cryptofall to your Wishlist, and stay tuned for updates!
In this patch we made a few changes to game mechanics, bringing it closer to our final vision of the game.
Balance
We slightly reduced overall difficulty of the game. In the past we got a lot of feedback on how easy the game was, so we made it harder, but probably too much. We are now rolling back some of those changes, making the game more accessible to the beginners, while still keeping it challenging in the late game.
Technologies
We changed how project technologies work. Some of them didn't work together very well, so now you have 4 free switchable technologies, which impact the workflow of the project, and only one of which can be active at a time. 4 additional technologies can be unlocked with money, and they work as they did before. Technologies became easier to understand for beginners, but they still require a good level of game understanding to use them to their full potential. This also made us change Start-up and Businessman starting bonuses. We no longer give technologies as a starting option, changing it to a more appropriate choices:
- Start-upers can carefully setup their starting team. You can pick between: two beginner employees, one advanced employee, or expend $5000 to get one experienced Mentor who will give their team bonus experience. All of those starting employees are less likely to leave your company. Start-upers also get more CVs in the early game.
- Businessmans now have a choice to start with a Business Partner. They are inexperienced, but they invested in your company, so you get to start with $5000 more money. They are, however, greedy, and will demand higher salary than usual. In addition, they will never leave your company unless fired due to Partner trait. Businessmans also get more job offers in the early game.
New mail type.
We added a new mail type - "Awards". You get this letter when you make a TOP 1 project in any category. Ratio of Design/Code/Management will impact reviews you get. For example, a game with amazing design but terrible code will get an award for it's design, but will probably be unplayable and get negative reviews.
Exchange
We completely removed exchange and currency trading from the game. This feature inspired us to make a separate game Cryptofall where we fully explored simulation of asset trading, since those things seemed out of place in Go To IT.
Other small changes:
* You can see when an employee wants to leave - their happiness bar will flash red. * Hackathons reward and difficulty now only grows in case of successfull completion of previous hackathon. * Added tips for game speed hotkeys. * You can see estimated TOP positions when creating your own projects.
Its been a while! Updates from us:
- German localization is available! Komm schon!
- Historical events now affect current market situation.
Rebalanced:
- Technologies
- Learning
Fixed:
- A bug with win screen
- The error on loading the game, that blocks every other action
- Menu button that isnt working
For quite some time we've been focusing on game balance and competitiveness. Weve integrated score system, updated main storylines and introduced the ways to lose and win the game. Balancing the game could never be finished, but could be good enough. And now we believe that it is good enough to focus on something else. So we decided to reintroduce achievements.
Whats new?
- You can unlock up to 27 Steam/in-game achievements.
- Project complexity will now have lower impact in the early stages of the game and higher impact in the later stages.
- Low-skilled employees will now correctly earn experience.
- Late game salaries have been lowered.

TL;DR: The game got a storyline, exploring it you win the game
You can win the game! Along with the company growth, the worlds whale corporations will offer you to participate in their projects. Each corporations projects have their own specialties and directly lead your company to win.
Whats new?
- Ability to sell office rooms. If you want to move to a new office, think about selling rooms that wont be in use.
- Employees equipment gets sold on the dismissal

Weekend patch of Balance released!
Whats new?

- Music volume slider added in Settings
Bugs fixed:
- Different combinations of platform and kind of self made projects are not dramatically more profitable than others now
- The exchange doesnt allow to control the currency market through investing a lot of money
Remember those traits that each employee has? Projects got them too! Some of the projects are purely marketed and slightly affect your companys popularity. Some projects are just purely financed, but your employees are happier doing it. Lots of variability in terms of fitting projects and the team.
- Save logic is removed. 1 slot = 1 walkthrough. You cant save the game before the tough decision. Sorry, thats life.
- Notifications about crucial situations in the company will pop up. For now they mostly inform about the lack of money.
- Names of the employees are generated basing on the ethnicity of the one.
- New office logic. In order to move to a bigger office space, you need to pay its costs immediately. The smallest office doesnt get downgraded if the company has no money to afford it. Instead, its upkeep cost is subtracted from the current amount of money, which results in negative money amount (bad sign for the company).
Huge and small bugs fixed:
- Weve received a lot of complaints that game saves were broken and are impossible to recover. Now all of your saves should work just fine. Let us know if its not the case!
- Employees dont leave the company when they are on vacations or plan to go on vacation, allowing you to change their mind before they leave.
- You can choose an option with no accessory on character appearance creation
Hey there! A few more updates from us before weekends:
Weve redone the description of the employees. They are telling their perspective on certain things about their job including the complexity of tasks, balance between working and learning and so on.
Its also displayed how do their thoughts affect their happiness level, and as a result, work efficiency. In order to keep your team motivated, its required to react to happiness decrease.
The next week we will introduce a few more mechanics in the game.

All music was produced by The Flashbulb. He is a great composer who inspires us a lot in our work. We are very pleased about using his masterpieces in Go to IT.

Soundtracks change depending on the success of your company to add more dynamics to the gameplay. We plan to continue improving the sound engine in future releases.
