Gatlin' - The Easy Update |
Gatlin' - The Easy Update (V1.1.0)
More content, more QoL, less throwing your keyboard against the wall. Guaranteed.
Introducing... Easy Mode!
We get it, Gatlin' is a hard game - that's intended, not a bug. However, our Chief Balance Officer (me) and Head Intern (also me) have been bickering back and forth for nearly three years now about making the game easier.
Long story short, the Head Intern decked the CBO and stole his computer. We have Easy Mode now.
While Easy Mode is enabled:
- Blot can take two additional hits before dying horribly. That's right, his suffering is prolonged and even worse - you horrible, horrible, person.
- Boss achievements cannot be earned
A new level modifier - Tumbleweed!
It's goofy, it's silly - it's... actually quite difficult. Pair this with Easy Mode for a unique experience.
Entirely Organic Achievements!
Continuing the streak of more achievements, here ya go - three new ones. Something about a vacuum, a boss-related redacted one, and... WHAT!? BLOT WITH A FACE!?! WHAT SORT OF HERESY IS THIS!? SOMEBODY CALL THE CBO - oh wait...

Scream bugs at us via discussion boards or Twitter
Premeditated FAQ
I did all of the above, why isn't the beta different?
The beta is only live on Windows systems at the moment.
How do I switch back?
To switch back to the live version, all you need to do is opt out of the beta. Unselect the beta branch in the BETAS tab.
What's new?
There are currently no patch notes for the beta. The big highlights are controller support, overhauled graphics, and several new options.
How stable is the build?
Very stable! You should experience the exact same stability as the live version. The main issues we expect you to encounter are some unfinished graphics and awkward controls.

Gatlin' - The Annual Big Comprehensive Holiday Update #1 |
Gatlin' - The Annual Big Comprehensive Holiday Update #1 (1.0.2)
Introducing the first-ever "The Annual Big Comprehensive Holiday Update." We're starting off relatively small this year, but we hope to make this a big thing for Gatlin' in the future once/if we pick up more of a community.
Highlights:
- OST is finally here! Thank DJIVVI (aka Cadence Hira) for joining Gatlin' as the composer! Some levels still have placeholder music, but over time we plan on covering all the bases!
- New world! Introducing "Art's Rejects." These levels are various polished concepts that were taken out of story mode for being on the crueler side.
- New boss! Meet "Credits." Credits is a physics-based boss battle that ideally makes giving proper credits not annoying! Well, not annoying in the traditional sense.
- New boss! Meet "Damn." Damn is a unique boss fight. It resides at the end of Art's Rejects. We'll leave it at that.
- The Steam assets for Gatlin' have been overhauled to seem slightly less crummy!

Gatlin' Launches! |
Gatlin' is now out of alpha and available to purchase!
Snag it for only $4.49 in this special launch sale.
Now would be a great time to convince your friends that you can beat the game faster than them, even if that's objectively false. Nothing screams Halloween more than racing your friends in a flash-inspired game while failing miserably. Okay, maybe that's you screaming about how they're better than you - but our point still stands!
