Minor Fix 3
Player that walked off stage would not unload correctly, leaving the game on this screen would eventually after several hours crash the game.
Aunt Doris on later levels would sometimes not load correctly.
Fix to controls not loading when using Steam input.
Fix to edit keyboard and non-Steam input controls.
Cabinets in the gun store now correctly keep the guns when broken
Fixed issue when pummelling enemies on the ground would sometimes cause the player to loop up and down.
Improvements
Guns that run out of bullets will now auto switch to a melee weapon.
Devices disconnecting will now show a device disconnected in game.
You can now hot swap controllers on the main menu.
If a controller becomes disconnected you can now swap to any unused controller.
Added new animation for pummelling enemies so their face reacts to hit direction
Demo Updated to Release Build
end slowdown reduced from 1 second to 0.8 seconds
Enemies will no longer pick up health

Fix 2
Bug where the main menu would not colour the selected player on subsequent plays.
Aunt Doris tool tip did not show correctly after you save her.
Sometimes when a character ragdolled they would jump position.
Glass would sometimes not break after subsequent plays.
Glitch with trying to quit game while stage is loading
Fixed an issue where enemies would not attack you if you held someone.
Stage 5 issue with enemies not recognising the wall to the MyStore
Player icons out of alignment when Doris is unlocked
Fix for some complex glass panes not registering damage
Fix for characters sometimes flicking to a different position for a single frame.

Pause Menu Now Pauses (it originally didn't due to the online multiplayer, which is coming soon)

A new update has gone live that addresses several bugs and adds a couple of new features.
Bug Fixes
Bug where enemies would be stuck in held pose.
Offscreen enemies sometimes get stuck and can't figure out how to get to the player
Player Spawning in wrong location
Player Forced to Walk Forward Bug
Enemies would steal health when they did not need it, fixed.
Bullets not despawning causing them to stay in the game perminently eventually slowing it down.
Multiplayer Character Sometimes Spawned
Multiplayer Hot Dropping into the game would spawn off screen
One of the planks in the DIY store would fall through the stage
Run grab glitch fixes

Infinite Continues
Option to Restart Stage at any point (You will restart with the health you went in with)

Updated Instructions with new Combos for Mina.
Added lots of new moves for Mina and adjusted play speed.
Added new moves for Byron and adjusted throw speeds.
Added more destruction.
Added cutting enemies in half.
Added cutting enemies down the middle.
Updated Ragdolls to make them more stable.

All enemies health reduced (except homeless people, it's your fault if you attack them)
Increased the speed of some of Byron's moves.

I've decided to release an early demo of We Could Be Heroes to allow everyone to experience the basic game play and environment destruction. With this being an early demo, there is a lot that's unfinished, but it's also a lot of fun.
Full 4 player local co-op is available with the 4 main characters to chose from. Most of the moves for each character are complete with Simon being the most fully playable. There are likely to be bugs and things are very subject to change, but this is a great opportunity for you to experience the game and let me know what you think.

Experience a classic arcade style beat ‘em up, brought into the 21st century. Knock enemies into the background, or foreground. Protect innocent civilians, enter background shops and buildings and interact with the environment. Use an array of weapons and scenery to stop the city gangs.
We Could Be Heroes is a brutally graphic arcade style beat ‘em up and vast amounts of destruction.
Story
Simon lives in Ultra City, the first privately owned city sold off by the government to benefit it’s citizens. The whole city has become one long crime scene with the elderly being robbed in broad daylight and drug dealers selling ‘Rev up’ on every corner. Enough is enough, if the police won’t stop the criminals, someone has to, someone has to be a hero.
Main Characters
Simon works in the mailroom of a large corporation, in his spare time Simon studies Jeet Kune Do.
Mina has a 4th degree black belt in ITF Taekwondo and works as a full-time nurse.
Byron a hulk of a man who works as a labourer at a building site. He has trained in BJJ, Shuai Jiao and Sambo wrestling.
Penelope works as a waitress at Ultrabucks Coffee, she has studied Karate from the age of 5 and has recently started learning Wing Chun.
Each character has a unique feel and move set for the player to master.
