Hello,
I'm looking into creating a physical toy with Iron Snout piglet. Maybe using a service like Makeship, which needs at least 200 orders to start manufacturing the toy. That's quite a bit.
The question is... Would anyone order one? How much would you be willing to pay for a toy like that? Which skin would be the best for it?
Let me know what you think about this.

Hey there, This is quite a different from what I usually post, but I would like to invite Iron Snout players to check out my TikTok channel in which I'm talking about game development, my old/failed/jam games, other indies and try to highlight Lithuanian projects. I would love to reach more people! Here's the link: https://www.tiktok.com/@snoutup Let me know what you think and what kind of content you would like to see on my channel! Cheers! P.S. I have some Iron Snout updates ready (mostly skins and UI changes), but I want to rewrite Wolfball multiplayer before I can release them to the public...
Hello snout smashers!
It's been a while and you're probably bored of kicking wolves around with the old piglet outfits, so I figured you could use a few more of those! All added to the main game and easily unlockable with in-game actions.
Hello there,
Jumping straight into exciting news! My new game - Card Hog - is out on Steam (Early Access) and currently can be acquired with 25% discount for a price of coffee* in your local currency!
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1163740/Card_Hog/
Card Hog is a game about pigs adventuring around the grid-based dungeon and trying to survive with a help of dozen different weapons, skills, spells and NPCs. A lot of cool things are already in the game and even more cool things are coming soon.
Look, it's pretty much turn-based Iron Snout!
One of the bigger things I'm working on is Steam Workshop integration for your own cards, characters and themes! There's also a story mode planned as well as a lot of new cards and mechanics.
So I would be super grateful if you'd at least check out the store page to see more of the lovely art Card Hog illustrator worked on! Maybe it's something you enjoy playing too.
Cheers!
Also, join the Discord to talk about Card Hog and my other games!

* Not sure how much coffee in your country costs, but I hope it's as cheap as my game
Hello, snout kickers!
Hope you're doing well! I wanted to drop in and let you know that my upcoming dungeon crawler Card Hog just got a huge art upgrade and an updated demo for you to check out!
A lot more polish, music, sounds, new cards and game modes are coming soon too as I'm working as hard as I can to make that little card game as fun as it can be.
Don't forget to add it to your wishlist or you might miss the Early Access which should start in a month or two. I would love to make it happen next month, but don't want to promise and fail to deliver.
Also, your user tags are very helpful for Steam algorithm to figure out what kind of game it is and start recommending it where it should! Add some of those, if you can.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1186120/Card_Hog/
If you'll have time to check out the demo, I would like to hear some feedback! What did you like? What was missing? What could be improved? I know cards lack descriptions, but they with a lot more UX polish are coming in the following updates.
Cheers!

Previously console-exclusive Iron Snout pirate ship level and a fancy pirate outfit are now available to Steam players who own Snoutfit DLC. Finally, it's time for those pesky wolves to go for a swim!
What's new in the new arena:
Hello, snout kickers!
You've been calling Bacon May Die a "dead game" for long enough and the shame of neither finishing it nor allowing anyone to play it finally got to me. So here you have it! Instead of Early Access, it's now available as free demo!
Warm up your arrow keys and jump right into it!
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1195260/Bacon_May_Die/
While I'm working on Card Hog (which you can also play for free), I will only be fixing most critical Bacon May Die issues and improving coop mode a bit, but feel free to swing by the community forums or my Discord and leave some feedback for the future!
Honestly, I'm really interested in what you think about how it controls, since it's not what you'd expect from a side-scrolling beat'em up. Also you will find more information about this release and a short FAQ list in this thread.
Enjoy!
P.s. if you haven't done it already, you might want to purchase Snoutfit DLC soon. Just saying lunar2019piginablanket
And follow my Steam developer page to not miss any future releases.

Hello, Snouters!
Long time no seen! For the last few months I've been making a new game and I'd love for you to try it out. It's a type of card dungeon crawler with light deck building and RPG elements inspired by Look Your Loot and Dungeon Cards. Multiple characters, boss fights, tons of card combinations and much more content in the works!
For the time being I'm publishing it completely free as a full content demo and will actively keep developing it with the help of your feedback!
Check it out:

Hello again!
As promised, here's a pretty significant update to celebrate new Pig Year! In addition to balance tweaks, UI changes and leaderboard reset, everybody gets a free Santa Pig snoutfit! Just something to keep your pig warm this winter :)
So, here's what's new:
Happy Pig Year, Snouts!
Starting 2019 with a sizable Iron Snout update, which will include a bunch of balance tweaks, UI changes, long overdue reset of leaderboards and highscores as well as a small gift - free snoutift!
Here are a few significant changes to look for:
Greetings snouters!
Happy Turkey Eating Day if that's your thing! I wanted to take this chance to thank you all for your continuous support, whenever you buy my games, review, share or just play them - every little bit helps me out a lot! Thank you very much!
Good news, everyone!
I released a new little game to play while you wait for me to finish Bacon May Die. This one is much less bloody and has fewer pigs in it, but give it a go and you might like it!
https://store.steampowered.com/app/590950/Toaster_Jam/
Toaster Jam is a mouse-only (gamepad support coming soon) arcade with light puzzle elements, where you control a jumpy toaster looking for slices of bread to toast! It has a level editor, which soon will be connected to Steam Workshop, so even with short base playtime you will not run out of things to do for quite a while!
And it has Steam Trading Cards now! And I accidentally turned one of mine to gems while testing...
So check out Toaster Jam Store page, watch gameplay video, maybe it's something you'll like or maybe you want to support my game making (appreciated) - buy it, review it, share it!
Don't forget to follow my Twitter if you don't want to miss any key giveaways!

Hello, everyone!
Next week I'm launching a little arcade/puzzle game on Steam, which was approved and ready to release since forever (remember Steam GreenLight?). It's way different than what you'd expect from me after Iron Snout or Bacon May Die, but I feel like it might find its audience!
And it'll have Steam Trading Cards on launch, which I'm very excited about!
Get it on your wishlist now!

I bet you didn't expect for this to ever happen and neither did I! But here we are - the latest update added actual online multiplayer for Volleyball Mode. Currently hosting is only available for DLC owners, but anyone can be invited or join the game (Windows only for now).
Limitations and known issues:
Hello, fighters!
Good news to DLC owners or those who are looking forward to buying it - new Eastern European pig outfit is now available with no increase in price!
https://store.steampowered.com/app/826650/Iron_Snout__Snoutfit_DLC/
To everyone else... A brand new game mode is now available to try it out! Fight 100 wolves and try to get a best time (leaderboards coming soon)! It's in an early stages right now, but a lot of cool(er) stuff can be built on it!
Let me know if the new game mode is too easy or too difficult or if 100 enemies are too much? Maybe it gives you ideas for another mode?

Whoa, did you hear that? What's that shadow? It looks like a new content for Snoutfit DLC! A ninja would never miss an opportunity to kill and you shouldn't miss an opportunity to get Iron Snout DLC with launch discount, since this one ends on Monday and it will take a while since Steam will allow another.

Hello hello!
I'm excited to announce that Snoutfit DLC, a pack of Iron Snout outfits and a nice way to support the developer (me), is now available on Steam!
Get it here, while it's hot and discounted:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/826650/Iron_Snout__Snoutfit_DLC/
To make it work I updated Iron Snout too, improved UI and fixed some of the most reported bugs.
Here's what happened in the latest update:
Hey, wolf smashers!
Get your hooves ready to finally dress up your Iron Snout pig with colorful outfits from Snoutfit DLC! Here's a short list of information bites to those, who are hungry for more information:
Hello, dearest snouts!
It's been a while since we talked and I'd like to share some things I'm currently working on with you!
Many of you asked about cosmetic items for the pig, some of you wanted a way to get the game to stay in the library, others were nice enough to ask for a way to support my game development. So, I finally found someone to help me with Iron Snout art and am happy to announce that a cosmetic DLC which should answer all previous questions is in development!
I will share more details as soon as possible, but for now I just want to assure you that outfits won't provide any in-game advantage, but hopefully it will give me some funds and motivation to update the core game with more content! Also, there is an idea about workshop integration, but that one is for the future!
Let me know what you think about this? Would you buy such DLC? What kind of character outfits would you like to see in Iron Snout?
Maybe next to wolf fighting you also have skills with vector art and would like to draw another skin for the DLC? If so, send me your portfolio to snoutupgames@gmail.com and maybe we can work something out!
Steam store page for my upcoming Bacon May Die game is live! It's not yet crispy enough to be released, but you can wishlist it & participate in the forums here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/646240/Bacon_May_Die/ I wrote a post about my plans for Steam version and will answer your questions here: http://steamcommunity.com/games/646240/announcements/detail/1452828499059161091 If you want to try it out in your web browser (core mechanics will stay, but controls for Steam version might change depending on feedback) or mobile phone, it's available for free in these locations: Web/PC: https://snoutup.itch.io/bacon-may-die Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.snoutup.baconmaydie iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/app/bacon-may-die/id1238929199 If you'd like to join beta testing on Steam, I'm gonna be distributing few keys on my Twitter and will share more around in game community forums soon. Expect more action to happen in September (I'm gonna be away for a few weeks now)! Have an idea of what you would like to see in Steam release? It can be anything (except online multiplayer, sorry)! Go, post it in this thread: http://steamcommunity.com/app/646240/discussions/0/1470842897552631633/ Hope you will like it and help me in making it more fun! I can't wait to hear your feedback! Cheers!
[img=http://i.imgur.com/YkBqcJp.gif] Hurray! We did it! Or, more correctly, you did it! My new Bacon May Die game got Greenlit in 9 days! Pleasantly surprising! Can't thank you enough, but I can write up a general roadmap for it. Android release I'm currently working on new enemies and mechanics, which I test in Android version. If you can download it, it would be awesome to hear what you think about it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.snoutup.baconmaydie [img=http://i.imgur.com/WYTXWp5.gif] Bacon May Die Steam For Steam I'm thinking about going through Early Access with this, because I believe a lot of cool things could be added with the help and ideas from community. This way I could bring the game to you faster, cheaper and have an excuse for any issues you might encounter, while I work on fixing them. If you played Android version, you might notice it has both auto-aim and auto-running enabled. The plus side is that keeping controls that simple in PC release too would allow me to have 2-3 player local co-op modes easily without a need of controllers, but I'm gonna need your input on that. Another option would be making co-op modes with simpler controls and allowing full movement in single player. There's no schedule, but I plan starting closed PC version testing in a few weeks and hoping to release Early Access version before summer ends. [img=http://i.imgur.com/z6REl4E.gif] How can you help? Here are some ways you could help me get this game faster to Steam: * Play Bacon May Die on Android, share it around and let me know what you think about it * Suggest new enemy types, melee weapons, guns, spells and character outfits * Follow me on Twitter - I'll share beta keys there! * Play Iron Snout and suggest it to your favorite youtubers or streamers when they look for new games (always awesome to see)! * Be patient - I'm doing this alone, so it takes longer than I would like to Thank you for all the support! I'll keep you updated!
Vote for Bacon May Die in Steam Greenlight!
Hello, iron snouts!
Hope you're doing well and your fingers aren't completely tired from all the button mashing! I would like to ask you to use them for one more mouse click, which would help to get another pig fighting game on Steam!
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=926050663
Bacon May Die is a side-scrolling beat em up which mixes up melee fighting and gun play in an accessible and enjoyable way. Think Iron Snout, but this time with actual movement! And just like Iron Snout it has over-the-top cartoon violence and every move is a fighting move. That's how I like them!
So, please, leave a vote, so this piggy could pass the Greenlight before it closes its doors (yup, Greenlight will be no more soon) - I'm worried that I might not be able to afford Steam Direct fee later.
Do you have an idea for a gun? Melee weapon? A silly outfit? Gameplay mechanic? Enemy type? Environmental kill? Then leave a comment or write me directly: snoutupgames@gmail.com!
Thank you!
P.s. Thanks to all your support Iron Snout got a mention in Kotaku for being one of the best rated games on Steam! It made my day - you're all awesome!

Hey, bacon heroes!
This time I have good and bad news to Apple users. The good news is... I released the updated version of Iron Snout to iTunes, so you can grab your iPhones or iPads and control the piggy with swipes & taps, which can be very satisfying!
Get it here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/iron-snout+/id1162897879
Share it around with friends who would enjoy snout kicking! These mobile releases are the only way I earn a bit of money from my game development, so getting more players in them is important, but also very hard to do alone.
The Android version has already been downloaded more than 5000 times, which is super awesome!
Now, the bad news...
I still can't release updated Mac version. I now have an access to the hardware needed, but it looks like there are big crash-y buggy issues related to latest GameMaker:Studio and Mac OSX (maybe only Sierra, I still don't know). I'm in contact with GM developers and hopefully we will find a solution soon.
Hope to bring you good news in the near future! I'll try to get my new game ready for Greenlight this year, so keep your eyes open for that one!
See you later! Have a great day!
Hey, pork-fu masters!
After a long delay an updated mobile version with most of Steam goodies (graphical upgrades, both areas and all enemies) are available for Android devices!
Download steamed Iron Snout+ here:

If you have an older Android device (2-3+ years) let me know how well it runs Iron Snout, because I tried my best to keep the performance up.
iOS update together with OSX update for Steam will be next, but I can't give you exact time frame just yet - still don't have access to a Mac to build that stuff on.
---
Bonus news!
I'm making a new game and would love to hear your thoughts about it. It's a tiny RPG autorunner with tons of character outfits (the thing which was missing in Iron Snout), a lot of fighting and with even more silliness. Should I put it on Steam? Try it out and let me know:
https://snoutup.itch.io/pork-chopper

See you later! Keep being awesome!
Hello, iron snouters!
new area (let's call it Wolf City) just went live to public! Thank you all for waiting and thanks to all, who helped to test it in beta.
Here's a short version of the "what's new list":
Hey, wolf hunters!
You can now opt-in in Iron Snout beta channel and try out new level before everybody else does!
Go to game PROPERTIES, BETAS tab and select that beta! Like this:
Game should re-download and you should see level select in the main menu. Try fighting new enemies and let me know if there's something I should fix before completely public release.
If you're not in a mood for beta testing, just wait a couple of days until it goes live for everyone!
Top fight leaderboards will be RESET, because of significant balance changes and there will be new leaderboards for city level only. TOTAL KILLS leaderboard will be removed, because those achievement glitches completely ruined it. Sorry for that.
P.s. I'm recovering well from my injuries mentioned in previous announcement and everything should be just fine!
---
By the way, I'm making a new game, which is about pig (what a surprise!) fighting various enemies with various weapons. At the moment it looks like this:
I really hope you will enjoy it as much as Iron Snout!

Hey, snout kickers! I have some bad news - I spent last few weeks in hospital and it is still unknown when I'll be able to get back go working on Iron Snout.. It's nothing too serious, just takes a while to heal and recover. I'll let you know, when I'll have more details myself! Hope to see you soon! You can find more info on my Twitter: http://twitter.com/snoutup
Hey, everyone! I'ts been a long while, but an update is on it's way! I've been working on a new city area, so take a peek in how it looks (visuals are not 100% final) and what enemies you will have to fight there!

Hey, everyone!
This latest update is very small bugfix update, which was build with latest GameMaker, so hopefully we will see less achievement glitches and Steam-related bugs now.
From now on I will be making a new level for single player, new types of enemies and some mini-games to keep you busy. You can see above, that I have a player-controlled wolf right there, so that will bring some interesting opportunities for sure!
Hoping to get the new level out in 2-3 weeks, but can't promise exact dates right now.
I have a day job, so this is not going as fast as I would like to. If you'll get bored - check out my other games! Also, it would help me and Iron Snout a lot if you could suggest it to your favorite youtubers, when they're looking for new games to play!
Good luck and have fun!

* enemies will not get knocked out of the screen anymore
* family-safe mode (F7) will not be reset after restarting the game anymore
* glitchy scores will now be displayed as 999999
* long steam names are being cut to 20 symbols

Feb 4
* BEST FIGHT leaderboard will be RESET in an hour or so. I'm checking if there are any big issues with this update before doing that. Read more.
* Turn on kid-friendly Iron Snout with F7. This will remove blood, heads, body parts, damage visuals, stuck projectiles. All the fun things!
* All enemy attacks should do 1 bacon of damage now. This will help you to get a higher scores (so it makes sense to reset the leaderboard).
* Two achievements for 1HP mode (25 & 50 kills)

* Some smaller fixes and tweaks I already forgot
Related: Bug Report Thread, Resources for Video Creators
This is a risky 4AM update and a first part of my task list for this week. I added a new game mode, where your piglet will have only 1 HP. It also has a leaderboard, so get your rage on, because in that mode you are more likely to notice various game design and hitbox issues. Smaller things: fixed large rank numbers getting out of the highscore box, removed "R" button functionality, projectiles shouldn't stick to the enemies after death, kill counter should not increase after death, also added buttons leading to my mobile games if you'd like to check them out. Iron Snout does have mobile versions too, but that's a pretty old build. Finally updated Mac version too! Let me know what is broken. Hopefully, not a lot. I also hope, that achievement glitches will be less frequent now. Really hope so. They're driving me crazy. See you tomorrow!
UPDATE: * added "clear stats" button (press STATISTICS in the main menu, it'll be at the top) if you had weird stat numbers or multiple random achievements and would like to gain all of them or maybe just try everything out again I'm really sorry if you had to deal with that and lose progress! Therefore adding some new stuff as an apology: * added combo leaderboard * added 3 new achievements (Rain of Hooves, BeckHAM, Beat 200) * reduced strikes needed for "Many Punch Pig" to 25000 * fixed a "bug", where pressing space would reset your kill count Also, to taunt: press direction pig is facing, hold for 0.5s and release! ---- Previous original text: Lately I've had a couple of reports about ... [olist]
So, you're recording Iron Snout gameplay? That's great! Don't worry about a thing! I just want to help. First of all, you're free to monetize your video!
Second, there is an album of high quality transparent images from the game, which you can use to make some sweet sweet thumbnails:

* updated Steamworks SDK should decrease the game start and game end crashes, might fix that weird overlay glitch some people are having with Steam Beta * fixed a small issue, where game would register both jump & duck events * added idle movement for main stances * added key holds event registering, so in future you might see something more related to that Hint: look in Iron Snout discussion boards to find a small little thing, which I didn't reveal here. Hint2: thing is mentioned in the Game Updates forum.
I was wondering what scheme should I add as default and in the end I added multiple pre-defined choices. You can choose either using shoulders and A (jump) & B (duck) or just go with YXAB. D-pad is enabled in both of them to compliment or be used separately, which I find a lot of fun to do. I only tested this on Windows with wireless XBOX 360 controller. It might not work with other controllers and there's not much I can do about that, but let me know if something is wrong anyway.
It would've been a miracle if I didn't need to fix something today, but that miracle didn't happen!
What a day. What a crazy day. My hands are shaking. My body wasn't ready.
Go, play it! Let me know what you think! I'm gonna be here all day for sure!
Iron Snout release day is Wednesday. Which Wednesday? This Wednesday! Yeah, 27th of January, 2016. I hope you're at least 1% as excited as I am! Because I'm pretty damn excited. Let your friends know! See you very very soon!
