Using smaller radial deadzones (figure 1) instead of square ones (figure 2) allows for a wider range of input and more control.
Figure 3: Aim acceleration
Changing to a linear aim acceleration (figure 3) with an outer zone which has twice the sensitivity allows for the highest precision in addition to fast turning. This is called Dual-Zone and is also the default in Overwatch.
It will take some time to get used to but should increase the speedrun potential when using gamepads. Please let me know what you think as I am especially interested in getting feedback about this specific change.

Of the new achievements there are 3 which add additional questions asked from the collected cubes which will be automatically awarded if you start Refunct on a completed save. The other 3 achievements are about finishing Refunct under a certain completion% and in specific times adding challenge while still being very fair for those wanting to experience the depth of the movement system and introducing different ways to play Refunct. They were added due to high demand for replayability after getting 100% Refunct in-game and to make sure that Refunct has the same features on Steam compared to the recently released Xbox One version. I am sorry for those that might feel temporarily robbed of one of their "Perfect Games" due to adding those achievements post-release so if you are not able to complete them please feel free to send me a mail to the address found on the support page so I can unlock them for you.
Speedrun
Also consider joining the Refunct speedrun community and challenge yourself further by submitting your recorded runs to the official leaderboard where you can see some cool tricks and optimal routes which may be helpful for getting the achievements.

Refunct is a relaxing game and is best enjoyed on your own pace. Notwithstanding due to popular demand a new update has been released to improve the speedrunning experience including a completion timer, instant restarts and more! Head over to speedrun.com to take part in the speedrun community. Simply record a video of your run, press the menu button during Refunct's outro to show the completion time (after completing the game at least once), upload it to Youtube or similar and submit it. For advanced Windows users there is a Livesplit script available for automatic resets and splits between each level segment thanks to some speedrunners writing it. Simply download Livesplit, extract it, start Livesplit executable, right-click opened window, choose Open Splits > From Speedrun.com..., Search for Refunct, choose the slowest non-grayed-out time, hit Download, start Refunct, go to ESC > Options > Window Mode > Switch to Windowed Fullscreen and start running (you only manually need to reset after a completed run using a hotkey as defined in Livesplit settings). You can also join the community moderated Refunct speedrun Discord server to chat with the runners and get help setting up Livesplit. Here is the full changelog of the update:

Hello all! Due to popular demand you can now collect and trade Steam trading cards, badges, backgrounds and emoticons. Memorabilia include references to the prequel which were created by Refunktion's artist Brent Liu. Also if you enjoyed the soundtrack of Refunct you can buy it on Bandcamp to directly support Kristofferson.

Hey all! A new patch has just gone live to make the experience for new players as seamless as possible, add some tweaks and fix the last known bugs:
- Added ultra-wide and triple-monitor support by using Hor+ as field of view scaling
- Added ability to retrigger fireworks after game completion
- Added auto camera rotation on level completion
- Added pause menu wrap-around
- Fixed black undersides by tweaking ambient lighting
- Fixed lift getting stuck in rare cases
- Fixed lift sound location
- Fixed auto detecting quality and starting in fullscreen
- Fixed performance degradation after fireworks
- Tweaked fireworks
- Tweaked sky color
- Reduced default mouse sensitivity
- Reduced install size
- Removed a few unrewarding collectibles
