We want EVERYONE on this weekend, so we've put together the biggest event ever in the history of Stash. It is so big it has to start Thursday and go through Tuesday!
10,000 Medallion Daily Random Drawing - At a random time between 6pm and 11pm EDT every night, a random character will be chosen to receive 10,000 Medallions. BOO, Stash, and Market Stalls
- Fixed a bug where the medallion icon was displayed twice in the Boo Upgrade confirmation popup.
- Deleted characters no longer show up in BOO invite lists.
- Added level next to character name in the character inspector window.
- UI Updates have been made for the following elements:

- The Quality % roll is now more significantly impacted by your Charisma stat and your skill level. Getting those 95-100% quality items should require a little more CHA and skill.

- Added Alt+P and Alt+O to the keybindings list in settings. These are locked and cannot be changed, but now block you from setting other binds to these.
- Fixed a bug where changing things in character creation (specifically colors) caused the custom face settings to get reset in the saved data, but not visually, so you didn't know they were reset until you finished and returned to Character Selection.

Tier 4 Has Launched - Level and Skill Cap is now 40
- All class abilities now go up to level 40.
- All crafts can be advanced to level 40.
- Mounts can be found on the medallion shop that allow passage into new regions.
- New private and world dungeons added (with new bosses!).
- Have fun!
- Your character's armor cosmetic appearance is now completely controlled by the costume tab and not by your functional/gear armor. We have separated these two things completely to make it easier for you to customize your appearance and to support future plans for a wide variety of cosmetic options that would have created confusing conflicts otherwise.
- Weapons and offhands perform the same as before as far as visual appearance. Visually you appear with your actual wielded weapons/offhands/shields unless you override that with a costume option.
- All costume items you had equipped on any costume pages have been removed and sent to your reward inventory.
- All cosmetic shoulders, arms/gloves, and boot items no longer exist. All of these cosmetic slots are controlled through the body/suit piece and then toggling/selecting which additional slots to display.
- Cosmetic armor is now controlled through two pieces: helmet and body (which controls all the other body locations).

- Bug Fix: Items can now be listed on your Stash Stall from anywhere in your boo
- Fixed a bug causing the stall upgrade window to always show you as having zero triads.
- Item tooltips in the npc vendor, stall, and newspaper UIs now show comparisons to what you have currently equipped.
- Healer resistance buffs' magnitude reduced to comply with resist cap rules. Previously, these buffs were so overtuned that by themselves they capped people's resists. This made all resist enchants or other resist related abilities, items, or potions moot.

Combat
- Mob Squads: Specialized teams of mobs that have different roles and AIs to make them a more interesting and challenging adversary.
- Example: Gobbos + Gobbo Bombadiers + Gobbo Shamans
- This squad works together by sending the regular Gobbos to engage in melee, Bombadiers providing ranged support, and Shamans to heal everyone.
- Fixed timing issues with certain mob animations / effects.
- Fixed an issue with player hit animations.
- Fixed a bug where brace-killing a mob didn't remove them from the turn queue.

Social (Clans, Parties, Religions, etc.)
- Member caps raised significantly. Level 1 cap increased from 20 to 40 members.
- Clan level costs for first 10 levels reduced very significantly, and also reduced for 11-20.
- Clan roster now shows Contribution rather than Honor per member.
- Clan Honor changes from the shop and bonfire now save properly.
- Added a system allowing you to click on an object / PoI and have the game path you to the zone change. Current locations you can find this:
- Askagard front gate: click on the gate to get a path there and be prompted to exit.
- Rolling Stone Inn: click anywhere on the RSI and you will path to the entrance and be prompted to enter.
- Fixed a bug where the world map didn't draw regions until you reached the end of a click-to-move path.
- Added specialized help links to chat that follows the format (?:help_title). For example: (?:combat) to make the automatic (?) icon take someone to the Combat help topic if they click on it.
- Fixed a bug causing problems with the improved incense recipes.
- Fixed a bug where the stats screen didn't update after changing equipment.
- Cleaned up the Character Selection scene, improving performance and usability.
- Fixed a bug where players that got the "account not validated" error at the login screen would then get that title for every single error for the rest of the session.

This is a small but very significant patch due to the x100 of Medallions. Medallion Changes - x100!
- All accounts had their current medallion totals multiplied by 100.
- All medallion costs for things in game were multiplied by 100.
- The absolute effect of this is no change for players, but it gives us the ability to have things that cost smaller amounts of medallions than what previously would have been 1 medallion. It also gives us the ability to give away medallions as rewards for more things, since we can do so in smaller denominations now.
- Issues loading into the Rolling Stone Inn have been fixed.
- The Newspaper now clears the data on which stalls you have visited each time you close the newspaper.
- Parties no longer follow their leaders into trap encounters.
- Rezzing at the BOO no longer places your character at its last location if you immediately do a character change after rez.
- Fixed a bug that would on rare occasions result in a Mob not being CCed when it should.
- Mobs that are CCed now explicity skip their turn (you will see it in the combat log). So you can more easily verify they are properly staying CCed when they should.

This Weekend on Stash (Friday, Oct 20 - Monday, Oct 23)
Shards of Primordium monster grinding competition!
- +10% to all XP earned from monsters.
- Every monster in the game has a chance to drop a Shard of Primordium.
- Shards of Primordium will be totalled up after the event, with the top 10 individuals and the top 3 clans winning awesome prizes including special mounts, Medallions, bags, magic items, and more!
- All Shards can then be sold for triads so everybody wins!
- Players of all levels have an equal chance to find them so everyone can compete in this event.
What else is new in Stash?
For those who played Stash at launch: we completed numerous code and hardware upgrades that fixed all known performance issues some people experienced. Jump back in and have a blast! Other new features and improvements over the last month:

- Fixed a bug where moving a stackable item from one bag to another didn't remove the item from the original bag if it updated a stack in the new bag.
- NPCs no longer buy back items for 100% value. This was never intended for obvious reasons (and non obvious ones also, like people using this to effectively "rent" expensive items for free).
- Fixed a bug where attempting to trade with someone after previously offering to trade, but leaving the area before they could respond, would stop you from being able to offer them another one until you relogged.

When: Saturday, October 14th, 4-6pm EDT Time: time zone converter ======================================== Strange Visitors have arrived in Askagard with odd tales and bizarre questions about the world of Primordiax. They are awed by the City of Askagard and relieved to have found friendly civilization. But something about them seems a bit off. Their manner of speech is odd but that is the least of it. Their religious zealotry is extreme and they speak of the Gods in hushed tones with tremendous reverence and a hint of fear. Why would they hold the Aetherial Pantheon in such nervous regard? The Elders of Askagard have officially welcomed the Visitors to the city but beyond that have reserved judgement about their presence. The Visitors have become quite popular among the locals and haven't paid for a meal or a drink in the Rolling Stone Inn since they arrived. They've become the toast of the town and fascination with their strange tales shows no sign of diminishing any time soon. The RSI tavernkeep has scheduled a party in their honor and invited the adventurers of the land to attend as well. The novelty of the Visitors plus the presence of the kingdom's greatest heroes should make for quite an event. You are invited to attend and decide what you think of these Visitors and what their arrival portends for the kingdom.

- 12 new Tier 3 (20-29) Dungeons (RPDs) of 3 distinct types implemented in multiple regions.
- New RPD graphics added to existing RPDs.

- Fixed a bug that did not display an error when you've reached the max number of favorited stalls.

Mobs and NPCs
- Previous HP scaling buff to mobs was reverted/removed.
- Lieutenants, Elites, and Champions now have higher stats and more health.
- Lieutenants, Elites, and Champions are now worth significantly more XP.
- Parties have a higher chance of encountering Lieutenants, Elites, Champions, and Bosses.
- Combat has become a bit too dominated by AoE. As a first small step towards balancing that, we have made two small adjustments:
- Every AoE ability in the game received a 10% damage reduction.
- Nearly every AoE ability in the game had its cooldown increased by 1 or 2 rounds.
- Fixed a bug where food that required a higher level that yours did not display in italics.
- Shields should now properly display their block chance in tooltip.
- Fixed a bug where changing a Boo interior room layout caused the placed items to disappear until you left and re-entered the room.
- Fixed a clipping issue with small beds.
- Fixed tells.
- Fixed emotes for all other channels.
- Fixed context menus of characters for new channels.
- OOC channel tag now all caps.
- Fixed a bug where pressing Enter at the same time as the last letter typed in chat would fire the the keybinding for that letter (if any).
- Fixed /r sometimes changing who you're replying to.
- Improved the Channel Indicator button text for a better idea of the current channel.
- The name of the current tell now appears as a tooltip over the Channel Indicator button and the Tell button in the Indicator selection popup.
- Added the Looking for Group (LFG) chat channel.
- Fixed a bug where the context menu for characters in chat would go off the bottom of the screen.
- Fixed major issue where certain combat scenarios spawned mobs outside of expected places

- The Interfaces menu now loads sooner so it opens more rapidly.

- The new Medallion graphic should be everywhere now.
- Added Triads tooltip to player inventory.
- Fixed a potential exploit with the trade command.
- Flanking now properly factored in for players who started their round not flanking but move into flanking position before attacking.
- Fixed a bug where action bar buttons were not getting disabled to reflect status effects.
- Alchemy: stat buff potions got a significant boost. Tier 1 increased +100% and Tier 2 increased +33%.
- Fixed a bug where enchanted gear didn't show up in deconstructors that weren't the disenchanter.
- Fixed a bug where the client didn't think items with the suffix "the ____" were worthy of being considered enchanted.
- Fixed an issue with processors not outputting exactly the right amount.
- Fixed the disenchant output for prefixes and suffixes (swapped them).
- Alchemy, Enchanting, and Maker recipes that dropped on the x5 levels but had the same output as their x0 versions of the same tier should no longer drop. You can safely forget those recipes.
- Offhand items can now be deconstructed only in the Deweaponizer.
- Increased number of ads in a paper from 240 to 360.
- A new newspaper is generated every 5 minutes instead of 10.
- Added "New Paper" time to the Newspaper.
- Fixed a bug where you could spam page turns in the Newspaper to get more ads on a page than you should.
- Filter button removed from newspaper. Two additional newspapers will be added in the future that do a better job than this button whose function was non-obvious and many people were unaware of.
- Ice Knife - now properly does damage when it applies CC (root).
- Willpower buff now properly grants +20 mana in addition to +WILL.
- Elementalist tier 1 spells now have more detail in their descriptions to clarify what the ignited, chilled, shocked, and staggered conditions mean.
- Clans: You can now kick/promote/demote members even when they are offline.
- Added invite submit button to clan window.
- Offhand cosmetic items work properly now.
- Fixed a bug where double-clicking and then immediately dragging an item caused the resulting icon to get stuck on the screen.
- Fixed a bug where cosmetic weapons didn't display on offwielded weapons.
- Fixed magic offhand tooltips.
- Mob rank boost now dependent upon number of players in an encounter, not party. (Should end LDP finally!)
- Characters arrive in communal encounters (e.g. Rolling Stone Inn) at a random spot rather than right at the entrance.
- Fixed bug that would occasionally cause some PoIs (like Askagard) to not load properly (though you could still trigger them by walking onto them).
- Medallion graphic updated.
- Fixed a bug where objects that didn't have a BoxCollider on them (ie, had a MeshCollider) didn't show a tooltip.

Event to Celebrate Launch Week

- On the World Map, gathering in resource nodes now scans inventory for gathering tool. Combat is unchanged (you still need to make a choice about which tools to equip for combat harvesting).
- Fixed a bug where removing an item from your Stash with exactly 1 open spot in a bag, would cause the client to claim all bags full.
- Added tooltips to the resource bar in the Boo.
- Farming XP properly multiples the XP amount by the stack size of the item removed. This was previously broken on PROCESSORS.
- Encounter size is now based on number of players in the encounter, not number of players in a party. So if a party splits up they only get scaled up battles based on the players in the actual battle.
- Delay no longer resets your movement counter so you can move again. (HUGE exploit. Please report if this is still exploitable.)
- Fixed issue with pinned/flanking where ranged attackers were showing as pinned/flanking when they really were not.

- Stacking fix: quality now properly set when items are split (or any other time item A is created based on item B; item A's quality will be set to that of item B).

Action Bar / Loader
- Added a background for the experience progression gems, to improve visibility.
- You can now reset your action bar names.
- In the Boo, entering/exiting Build Mode now opens/closes Boo Inventory (respectively).
- Fixed a sorting bug in the action bar loader when sorting by level.
- Fixed tooltips not displaying for the boo action bar upgrade popup.
- Added level to item tooltips on the action bar.
- Action Bar items are now split up by what is allowed to be stackable. So, items with different level/quality that are still the same item, will no longer show up combined or be allowed to go in the same slot on the action bar.
- Fixed a bug where changing items in a passive encounters on the action bar didn't update correctly when the loader closed.
- Removed the "basic attack" extension bar button from passive encounters.
- In Non-Combat encounters and outside of encounters (world, dungeon), using an item from your bar no longer closes the extension.
- Fixed a number of popup windows appearing behind the action bar gems.
- Set a limit to the max number of chat entries held onto by the client and displayed in the chat tabs. This will reduce load time between scenes after you've been playing for awhile.
- The chat window now handles a case where tabs attempt to write to the same area (this causes an appearance of double chat).
- Fixed an issue with help windows being unable to interact with buttons.
- Fixed an issue where the character sheet help window appeared behind the character sheet.
- If a trade request comes in while the chat window is in focus, the request will wait until the chat window loses focus before showing the popup.

Crafting
- =====> For many of the fixes below, you will need to pick up/place back down your various crafting machines, producers, farms, gardens, orchards, etc. You will also need to plant new seeds.
- Fixed a number of bugs with farming and harvesting. Orchards and gardens should now properly produce goods and be harvestable for seeds/resources (as long as the contents haven't died yet).
- Orchards, gardens, coops and barns now hold the correct number of seeds and animals, and they now also hold the correct number of items produced. (10 as opposed to 3.)
- Fixed a bug with the UI display of crafting machines above tier 1.
- Fixed a bug where selecting craft for an item didn't update the crafting display.
- The last recipe crafted now gets selected after retrieving an item from the machine inventory.
- Despawn time for resource nodes reduced from ~1 hour to ~30 minutes. Respawn time is the same (they basically respawn instantly as soon as one is harvested).
- Dough recipe has been changed to require 1 egg unit and 1 flour unit.
- Lard will no longer be dropping in the game, making any lard you have super rare and special! ːsheepieː
- Grain processors have been added to the game, and you may now make flour by growing wheat in your gardens.
- Players must be of the appropriate crafting skill to utilize a tool within their stash.

Social (Clans, Parties, Religions, etc.)
- Fixed a bug where some of the nameplate parts didn't update when other players changed their customization options (like their title).
- Fixed an xp bar issue with rounding.
- Fixed a bug causing the hotbar to lock up.
- Doubled the number of resource nodes on the overworld map
- Fixed a couple issues in the Recipe Book when you don't have any crafts learned.
- Fixed the total recipe label to reflect recipe counts for whatever the dropdown is set to.
- New Leaderboard rewards added for #1 and #2-10 positions.
- Crafting and Gathering Tools now have their trade skill in the tooltip.
- Fixed a bug where replacing bags didn't update properly.
- Fixed a bug where clicking "No" to replace a bag didn't move the bag item into said bag.
- Recipe item names are now italicized based on your trade skill instead of your character level.
- Recipes that you can't use now tell give that reason in their tooltip.
- The dropdown menu when viewing your inventory no longer has bags, but instead has filters. You can deselect bags to view all bags together or select multiple bags.
- Fixed a bug allowing you to use multiple items at once.
- Fixed a bug where changing gear/costumes in the character sheet didn't update the player portrait.
- Fixed a bug with the selection of multiple items.
- Fixed a bug where reordering items didn't save on the client until you closed and reopen your inventory.

A lot of good stuff in this update! Characters, Classes, and Abilities

- All tier 1 spells (Fire Blast, Zap, Ice Blast, and Pelt) had their range increased from 4 to 5.
- Ice Knife (tier 2 water spell) has a different bonus effect when used on a foe that is chilled. Instead of additional damage, it will root the foe for 2-3 rounds. Chill can be applied with Ice Blast or Hunter's Frost Arrow.
- You will receive an additional +1 resource when harvesting a node in combat while there are mobs still alive.
- Mobs lose their low level damage output reduction more gradually. Previously, mobs level 1-10 had their damage reduced by 50%, and returned to normal at 11. Now the damage reduction is gradually removed from 11-15 (40%, 30%, 20%, 10%, then normal damage at 15).
- Improved the functionality of Click-to-Move, enabling a smoother experience.
- Fixed a significant performance drop that would worsen the longer you ran the client in the open world.
- New error popup messages for failed logins.
- Fixed a bug causing the chat window to not show the color wheel for selecting text colors.
- Fixed a bug where you could not reorder tabs (and have them save).
- Fixed an issue causing double chat logs when chat messages come in while zoning.
- Fixed a bug where multiple camp materials would stack in the camp window the first time you dropped down the category.
- The tooltip for the xp bar now rounds down so that no one is confused about the percent reaching 100 when they still have some experience to go (mostly seen at higher levels).
- Fixed a bug where double-clicking a sold item in your Stall didn't collect it.
- Clans: Fixed a bug where Promote and Demote didn't do anything.
- Fixed a but where swapping bags updated the bags but not the inventory displayed.
- Fixed a bug where replacing a bag displayed the new bag in a different slot that it actually was.
- The popup to split an item stack now selects one of the inputs immediately and pressing enter will finalize the action.
- Food and Potion tooltips now have Quality.
- Fixed a bug where a number of settings weren't getting saved on exit.
- Moved the [Play] button under the selected character in Character Selection.
- Various sound effect improvements.

Tentative schedule:
June 14: Final character wipe. All spent medallions will be refunded at this time as well. Backers and pre-order folks can then make new characters and get a headstart. We will also put the seasonal cosmetic items on the Medallion shop so you can grab them before we remove them again for launch. June 20: Grand Opening Launch! Stash is an MMO, so the game is never truly "done", but this is when the game will be available to all. June 22: Launch Party at Taco Bell in Lexington, KY. As a winner of Taco Bell's Feed the Beta contest, we have enjoyed enormous support and help with our launch. Specific details will be posted soon.

This update was not originally planned, but there were a few bug fixes we really wanted to get in before the weekend event so we pushed it live. NOTE: There may be some issues with windows overlaying strangely or text bleeding through from windows behind. This is part of a conversion of UI elements that is not finished yet. Other noteworthy things about this update:
- Smart pathfinding! You will no longer receive a zone prompt when walking over a PoI unless the PoI is your final destination. This should be especially nice when moving around your BOO.
- Numerous camera angle issues improved to make it behave in a more friendly manner when exiting encounters, going into passive encounters, and similar things.
- Major party chat bug fixed in combat that was messing up combat in parties. This was the main bug that we really wanted fixed before this weekend.

But the most exciting part of this is the help from Taco Bell promoting Stash and our launch.
Taco Bell is putting together a sizzle reel with footage from Stash and will show it off on both the Feed the Beta site and their main web site (http://ta.co) in January.
We also have access to a private forum with a group of gaming media and marketing experts they have gathered to help the winners promote their games. This includes media, twitch streamers, and youtubers with some pretty big audiences.
It is exciting and validating to have STASH chosen as a top indie game. The help they will give us promoting the game will really be huge. The toughest thing about indie game development is getting the word out. This should be a big boost in that area.

- Pumpkin Pie: Delicious holiday food item that will randomly drop from all mob types. Max Health and Mana healing possible for level, and trains all stats!
- 1/2 xp debt from death and fleeing to encourage you to take some risks! (XP debt begins at level 10.)
- New Boss #1: Ruined Barracks (level 5-9 dungeon).
- New Boss #2: Forgotten Cellar (level 15-19 dungeon).
- Lieutenants, Elites, and Champions: These new mob ranks can spawn starting at level 5. The larger your party, the more chance 1 or more of these will spawn in your encounter. They are stronger, worth more XP, and have a higher chance to drop magic items.
- Customized Mob Spawns: Dungeons and overland zones now have custom mob spawn lists, making dungeons more distinctive.
