A very cool team of fans have finished something they have been working on for a very long time - Advanced Geomancy: an extremely polished room editor for Star of Providence! Going forward it will be considered "official" and we would like to do some work with them to integrate it. In the meantime, you can download the editor here: https://snakeblock.itch.io/advanced-geomancy We've created a dedicated channel for discussion of the editor on our official Discord Server, so go there to discuss its use and share any of your cool creations: www.discord.gg/teamd13 Have fun!
Good morning/afternoon/evening/night (go to sleep, you), Monolith fans. We have recently been... made aware of a legal situation regarding the name of the game. Specifically, it was trademarked in 2015 by Warner Broswe assume this has to do with their subsidiary game studio, Monolith Productions, but we aren't sure. We haven't heard anything from Warner Bros, and it's possible we never would. But we have some big plans in store for later this year, and it's not worth the risk of getting a C&D, so we will be renaming the game sometime in the next month. We'll be taking advantage of the situation to deal with an unrelated, but long-standing issue. Relics of the Past has long been considered by far the superior version of the game, but many players start out without it and consequently miss out on its plethora of quality of life improvements and general gameplay/balance changes. Once the name change rolls out sometime in the next month, we will also be making Relics of the Past the default version of the gamethe base game will cost $15 and the DLC will be included. Because we don't want to simply do away with something that has remained available for the better part of a decade, After the End will still be available as a separate Steam branch accessed from the Betas menu. This does mean that anyone who owns the base game but not RotP will effectively get the latter for freeconsider this period a sale, if you like. This will be a strange transition period, but I'm very excited about what we have in store. See you on the other side.

This is a massive update, adding a substantial amount of content to the game, and I can't wait for you all to see it.

Someone asked for this, so I figured I would make one. Feel free to come and discuss the game here! https://discord.gg/46BqQ2K
We are not done. Even though the game is out, we are still working to make it the best experience we can. I'm very happy for all the support and kind words we've heard, as well as all the feedback we've seen. A lot of people have commented on it feeling like there isn't enough content, and that's a very key point for me to address! I've been spending the past week adding new weapons, keywords and rooms to the game, and plan to add some more things in other areas, as well. Additionally, some people think the game is too easy or doesn't take long enough to complete! I don't want to spoil anything, but that will definitely also be addressed in an upcoming patch. You can expect a MAJOR content update for Monolith, including all this and more, around the end of the month. I'm going to avoid giving specific dates, because plans change, but we're working hard to get out as much as we can as soon as possible. Thanks!
Just sent out a quick hotfix resolving some bugs uncovered in the first day of play. Nothing else notable to report.
After 5 years of development, Monolith is finally in a state ready to be shown to the world. I hope you enjoy it! Thanks, Team D-13
