To our players, This post is to serve as notice that Infinium Strike is to be retired and de-listed from the Steam Marketplace. To those who have Infinium Strike in their library, dont worry you will retain access and be able to reinstall the title indefinitely, so long as it remains an entry in your Steam Library. This was a labor of love for everyone at Codex Worlds and served as the first credited and released title for many of us on the development team. We were beyond proud to put this out and to share it with all of you. However, all good things must come to an end, and Codex Worlds is officially closing its doors, necessitating this retirement. Gun Crews, you may stand down. The Codex Worlds Team
Hello Commanders! We have received a number of renewed reports recently that some of your Achievements are only unlocking in-game, not on Steam. While we previously thought this was an isolated bug related to offline-mode, we have now been able to replicate this issue in our own testing. We will be re-working the way in which the game relays information from your player profile to our partner services (including Steam). We are terribly sorry about the inconvenience caused to those of you experiencing this issue. We know that Steam Achievements are an important part of the platform, and will be working diligently to restore this feature to all players as soon as possible. Please keep an eye out on this space, as we will post another announcement when Steam Achievements have been restored. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding. Happy Wrog Hunting!

Sons and daughters of Earth, For two decades we have hurt. We’ve all felt great loss. But we endure. In our hubris, we ventured into the stars. In search of... what? Adventure? Wealth? Resources? Do we even remember? What we cannot forget is December 11th, 2150 — the day the Wrog began exterminating our colonies. What we will not forget are the names and faces of all those loved ones lost to the Wrog advance. Today, it is with confidence that I tell you...NO MORE! Humanity will not stand by and watch our people be systematically annihilated. Our species will no longer retreat to our home world, trembling as the Wrog close in on our birthright. That dreaded day will never come. Top Terran Space Force scientists and engineers have worked tirelessly to dissect and harness the technology of the Wrog menace, and it’s with great pride today we announce we have succeeded! Mankind has maximized the power of Infinium, a metalloid with extraordinary capabilities. By salvaging the remains of destroyed Wrog vessels, we have a near limitless supply of Infinium, allowing us to fight back in ways we’ve never before thought possible. This morning, the Terran Space Force launched the largest and most technically advanced feat of engineering our species has ever known. The TSF Freedom Strike, the first Ares-class battlecarrier in the fleet, has been fitted with the ability to reactively construct weapon turrets and AI-controlled drone ships, to self-repair in the heat of battle, and unleash the fury of the entire human race in a hellfire of hyper-advanced technology to counter the capabilities of the Wrog menace. A new dawn has risen. Retreat is no longer the answer. Now we fight, and now we win. We remember the fallen, but we fight for the future! Esto perpetua. 2015 was a great year for Codex Worlds. We got our first product approved to Steam, XBox One and supported through Kickstarter. Now we are ready to show more gamers the results from our 3 year journey. If you are going to PAX South, we are located at booth 17088. We'll be showing some new levels and answering any questions you may have on our debut strategy/action game. If you can't make it to Texas, we'll be in California at GDC in March. We hope to see you at either of these shows! Codex Team

Hi all, Strategy game designs live or die by the balance of the game and of course, the fun factor. Remember the Zergling attacks in Starcraft that frustrated so many players trying to ward them off? They finally reduced the number of Zerglings from 3 to 2 after months of complaints. The Codex Team continues our quest to balance the game and get more feedback on the game from the public before we do a full release of the game in Q1 next year. We have two ways to get involved with the beta of Infinium Strike: 1. We have released a Free Open Beta on Steam. Simply download the Infinium Strike Demo and you will receive the Open Beta. It includes 4 campaign missions and full interactive tutorials on how to play the game. Storytelling, multiple difficulty levels, and the deep space arcade mode are not included. 2. We have opened up the Full Beta Access to anybody from our Infinium Strike Store. For $25, you get immediate access to the full game on Steam and when the game is released, the beta will automatically be updated to a full version. Feel free to post feedback to the forums or directly to me at dexterc@codexworlds.com Thanks for your ongoing support. Dex Codex Team
Hello. It is time for an Infinium Strike update. We are still deep into beta. We've done several rounds of beta testing and game updates (that we update to Steam). Codex Worlds takes feedback seriously and we have decided to take a few more months to improve the product and include a more feature filled product when we release. In short, we are pushing the release date back to Q1 2016. We will be taking that time to further refine the product, including more beta feedback, as well as adding additional features like localized languages, more controller options, and much more music. So, when we release, Mac and Linux users can expect to get, fingers crossed, a simultaneous release and we expect to get several language versions as well including Russian, German, and Spanish. All current Steam games will continue to be updated as we get closer to release. Keep the beta comments coming to our forums at http://community.codexworlds.com/ Thanks for your patience. Dex Codex Team
As you can probably imagine, the past couple of months have been a whirlwind at Codex Worlds. We have concluded a successful Kickstarter campaign, launched a continuing closed beta test, and made a marketing shift to describing Infinium Strike as a Tactical Starship Defense game. Through invaluable feedback from our closed beta testers, we have squashed bugs, implemented player requests, and are now well on our way to bringing you the best possible gaming experience that we can. Several Codex Worlds team members had a blast attending TwitchCon last weekend. If you missed us, have a Twitch streaming channel, and would like a chance to stream Infinium Strike before launch, please send an email to press@codexworlds.com! To all of our beta testers, here is a list of changes, bug fixes, and additions we have made over the past three weeks (in reverse chronological order): Sept. 28 •Added a supernova animation. •Added lights--including runway lights--to Freedom Strike. •Balanced all Commander missions based on beta feedback. •Reduced the difficulty on Mission 10. •Added new load screens graphics. •Added tips to load screens. Sept. 21 •Synced cutscene and mission briefing voiceovers. •Improved the texture quality on all turret banks. •Added a cinematic introduction. •Added an Infinium Strike splash screen. •Reduced the difficulty in Deep Space Arcade Mode. Sept. 14 •Applied various edits to Codex entries. •Balanced all Captain missions based on beta feedback. •Fixed a bug that prevented players from progressing past Mission 6. •Improved real-time lighting in all missions. As always, we would like to thank all of our beta testers and Kickstarter backers for your invaluable feedback and support. Please take part in feedback and discussion on our community forums at http://community.codexworlds.com. Also, in case you haven’t had a chance, please check out the Pilot Program on our website for a 20% pre-launch discount and free DLC at http://www.infiniumstrike.com/store/pilot-program!
Hi Everybody. I hope you enjoy our original take on the tower defense genre. We've added cinematic 3D and arcade style action to traditional lane TD management. My name is Dexter Chow, the creative director of Infinium Strike. I am a strategy game fanatic and have been producing strategy games for over 10 years at SSI, Mattel and Ubisoft. Infiinium Strike represents two years of hard work from a team comprised of both veterans and brand new indies. We hope you enjoy the demo. If you want to get involved in helping with the beta or just want to help us out by getting an early discount on the game...read on. We are currently live on Kickstarter where at the $25 tier or higher, all pledges get enrolled into our beta program. We are starting our closed beta testing next week on 8/10/15. You will have access to the latest build to help us with design, balance, and even design entirely new missions! Of course, participation is optional, but you will be briefed on all the contributions and updates we receive through community participation. If you haven't notice our banners on our free DLC offer, check it out. Just pledge at any level on Kickstarter where you receive the full product and just register your Kickstarter email address at codexworlds.com and you will recieve a free DLC named The Free Bubba Missions. (estimated $4.99 value) Thanks for your interest. If you have any questions or comments, you can reach me through the company forums or email me at dexterc@codexworlds.com Take care, Dex
