We hope you've been enjoying your time with Hadean Tactics! Just wanted to say hi and provide an update on what's been keeping us busy lately.
Firstly, we have been working on the controller support and console port. It's been a challenging process and has required a great deal of our time and attention. Good news is we're approaching the final stages for the controller support and soon it will be available on the beta branch. We will share another announcement here as soon as it's up.
We've also been preparing the game's texts for translation. As said before, we will initially be localizing to Simplified Chinese, German, and Brazilian Portuguese, and we plan to gradually add more languages as time goes on.
We also want to give you a heads up that the price of Hadean Tactics will be increasing soon, before the 1.0 release. We've added a ton of content and value since the beginning of Early Access, so we believe the new price will reflect that.
Last but not least - from May 14th until May 21st, you can grab Hadean Tactics at a 25% discount. This is a great opportunity to dive into the game if you haven't already.

Hello everyone! We hope you've been enjoying Hadean Tactics and all the updates we've brought you so far. Today, we have some exciting news to share about our upcoming 1.0 release, as well as our continued commitment to improving the game with smaller patches. Firstly, we want to apologize for our recent absence. We've had to deal with some personal issues, which took us away from development for a while. However, we're back on track and working harder than ever to bring you the best game experience possible! As we move closer to the 1.0 release, we're focusing on polishing and fine-tuning the game, as well as implementing quality of life improvements. We're working hard on adding official translations to several languages, which we know many of you have been eagerly waiting for. The first ones to be implemented will be Simplified Chinese, followed by German and Brazilian Portuguese, and we will keep adding new languages over time. Additionally, we're thrilled to announce that we're working on controller support for Hadean Tactics. This means you'll soon be able to enjoy our game from the comfort of your couch, with your favorite controller in hand! But that's not all! We've heard your requests, and we're also in the process of porting Hadean Tactics to consoles. We will get the game Deck Verified, for you Steam Deck players out there, and we're also aiming for an Xbox and Switch release. As we continue to work on the 1.0 update, we'll keep releasing smaller patches to address any bugs or issues that may arise. Hello everyone! The Warlock update is finally here, bringing you the third and final main Hero for the game! We know you've been waiting for this, so we're very excited to finally share it with you. We also want to let you know that we're participating in #TurnBasedFest and the Game Development World Championship! Today's the day! We've just put the Warlock update up on the beta branch!
This initial beta release includes the Warlock Hero with around 70 new cards, the Events revamp with 40+ new events, two different Random modes for runs, etc.
We've changed a few things that we believe will make it better to handle balancing in the future. The most impactful were Boss relics and non-Hero units' upgrades. Those things were tweaked to prevent the player's power spike after the first Circle that was causing a lot of trouble. Right now everything is very fresh so it may feel a bit rough with loads of bugs, but we will work on it together to finetune it. We also will be adding the remaining content gradually in the next couple of weeks to the beta branch that includes Alatar's variants (the Spellslinger and the Necromancer), more cards, new units to recruit, even more events, and such.
How to access: Switch to the beta branch on the game's properties on Steam.
The game should update automatically to the beta branch.

Hello everyone! Today we've got a couple of news for you. First, Hadean Tactics is participating in Tacticon! Tacticon is an online event featured right here on Steam, all about tactical and strategy games, and we are very happy to be a part of it! To celebrate, we will be running a 25% discount for the duration of Tacticon, from September 22nd to September 26th. Now's your chance to grab the game before the 1.0 release! Next, after the long wait, we want you all to know that, tomorrow, we are dropping the beta version for the Warlock update, version 0.5! We apologize for the delay - we ran into some office space issues that slowed us down considerably. Now that we are almost all set up, the final stretch of development to launch should run smoothly. After this update, the plan is to focus on polishing, balancing, QoL, official localization, the true final boss, and the ending of the game. The game will achieve it's final form around February 2023. He will be focused on Spells, Summons and Elemental shenanigans. There are a lot of other cool things we will be implementing as well, among them are the Random Draft Mode (random Hero/Deck) and the revamp of the Question Mark Events. Hello everyone! We have started the process of localization, which was a major goal for us. So far, we have Brazilian Portuguese, German, Simplified Chinese, Russian, and French. This translation is not yet complete - it's starting out with a machine translation, so a lot of things are wonky right now. Our community is working with us to iron out the kinks. If you want to contribute, please consider joining our Discord! Your feedback is super important to us, so, based on that, we're working hard to improve the look of the game. So, the Circles have gotten a visual revamp! Most of the previous assets have been replaced, and we'd love to know what you think. As for gameplay and quality of life, we've also added a damage preview for the Slides and other damage cards, and you can now hold Shift+Z to select a target for all of your units; there are also many other fixes, gameplay changes, and balancing. And aside from all that, we're also working on our next major content update - there is a lot of new and cool stuff on the horizon that we're excited to bring to you all. Hey everyone! Just wanted to give you all a small update on the state of development. For this past month, we've been working on adding new content and improving the gameplay experience. The next update will include the new Hero, with her own deck and units, with a unique playstyle! If everything goes right, this update should see the light of day by the end of this month! We are also working on getting the game translated ASAP. Our initial goal is to include German, Simplified Chinese, French, Brazilian Portuguese, and Russian.
