Fixes and Improvements in Update 3.3.4
- Halloween contest ended; no more graves appear. - Visual glitches in SAMuel and SAMson have been adjusted. - Added sound details to enhance gameplay in SAMuel. Additions and fixes in update 3.3.3:
- Art gallery updated. - You can now buy multiple quantities of the same item in the Cokko shop. - Fixed chests that appeared in inaccessible areas of the office and island levels. - Lemon research can now be done in any month of the year. Some fixes: You can now paint the mask in the astral mode. The sounds when lowering life to the boss2D have been changed and the music of the level is gradually accelerated. The climbing wall of Core Square tree has been fixed. Eggs with low distance or time have been deleted and now can't be created in order to avoid morralla eggs. This also avoids breaking the economy of coins in the egg hunt. Fixed problem with binoculars in egg mode. Fixed problem with day-night change at game startup. Rotation of the blue key reset in the inventory. Improved visual appearance of penumbra buses in balloon mode. Balloon can now kill in 2D levels. The online popup cannot be opened if you are being focused by a factory surveillance camera. Chinese translation fixes.
Update 3.3.0 includes:
- Star System. For each game mode you complete, you will earn a star that will be displayed on the online panel, so other players can see the game modes you have cleared. - New game mode: Escape. In this new update that is now available, you can compete with up to 5 other players online across most DEPO levels. You can win plenty of Cokkoins depending on your position in the race.
Here are the detailed contents of this update:
New Features Introduced:
- New online racing minigame in the game levels! Compete with other players and win Cokkoins.
Create a race from the online popup, or join other players' races.
The more players there are in the race, the more Cokkoins you will win (+30 Cokkoins for each extra player).
Levels without an end now have a finish flag. For example: Lucy's Challenge, Eye Core, Sam's Maze, Eye.co Ruins, 2D arcades, and bosses.
The player list now shows an icon indicating which player is participating in the online race.
The race in SAMsara is somewhat special ;)
- The Cokkoins winning message changes the icon depending on the reason.
- The announcement of the appearance and collection of the chest carries the chest icon.
- Phrases from Rosso introduced in the construction scene.
- Moisa's easter egg phrases introduced.

Fixes and Modifications:

2 years ago I released DEPO on Steam, after more than 9 years of development. Today I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to the entire community for their support, dedication and love towards the game. It fills me with pride to have such a wonderful player base.
The road has not been easy. I have dedicated thousands of hours to the development of the game, most of the time working alone. Despite the challenges, every moment has been worth it. I especially want to thank the friends who have helped me improve the game and have also dedicated their valuable time. Seeing so many people enjoy DEPO is a dream come true.
After the summer, my presence will not be as constant as before, as I will need to focus on my work. There probably won't be as many or as big updates, but I will do my best to add some news from time to time. Even if I won't be able to be as active, I hope I can still get into the game and chat with you, and I hope you continue to enjoy the game and the online races coming next week!

DEPO Summer context - Ice cream hunting
A lot of ice creams are appearing along all DEPO levels, be the first to collect it and get besides precious Cokkoins an increase in the ranking. To see your place in the ranking visit the Cokko store, there you will find a panel with the scores of the top 50 players.

Online system implemented.
- New online popup, opens by pressing ctrl. from here it's possible to launch emojis, perform gestures, equip clothes and trails, plus many other features! - Play and interact with your friends and your enemies inside the usual DEPO... or well... maybe it has changed enough not to be the usual one. - All online system information is not stored in your saved game, but online and linked to your Steam account. - Online chat and messaging system implemented, communicate and chat with other players. - Online works also with DEPO Maker levels (although all players will see each other even if they are playing different levels). - Implemented system of multiple copies of the same level, if a level is full of players, a new one is generated. - New online settings section in pause menu (remove censorship in chat, hide online ghosts and disable online). - Introduced 113 emojis. - Introduced 13 gestures. - Introduced 48 new online skins. - Introduced 21 trails (players can see their own trail). - Added special items (2 emojis, 2 dances, 2 skins and 2 trails, almost unique rarity) for the buyers of coffee DLCs. - DLC buyers also get their name and color in messages in brown if they have normal coffee or purple if they have XXL coffee.
Chest system added.
- Each chest offers 1000 cokkoins! - Chests appear randomly in every level of the game as long as there are at least 3 players in that level. - You can't get chests with cheats activated, don't forget.
Event system added.
- The summer event is currently active. - Get as many ice creams as you can! - Ice creams will appear anywhere in the levels as well as chests. - Top #3 players will get unique items and top 50# players will get almost unique items. - Check the Event Ranking on the second floor of Cokko's store. -You can't get event items with cheats enabled, don't forget.
Trade system implemented.
- Send and receive trade invitations to other players. - You will be able to exchange dances, emojis, trails and skins.
Egg hunting mini-game implemented.
- Unlock this mini-game on the second floor of Cokko's store. - Hide your eggs well (wow how bad this sounds) through the levels and other players will have to find them. - Earn cokkoins every time someone doesn't find it! - Eggs give coins depending on the difficulty and the number of people who have played it. - This mini-game can currently be found in: Core Plaza, Eye.co Test, Eye.co Facilities (underground), Lost Pixels (island), Shike's Garden and Eye Core (the other core). - When you are in egg mode you can't turn off speakers or use teleport out, you can't get clothes or eye collectibles and you can't enter levels.

- Meet Cokko and buy a bunch of interchangeable online items. - Change the color of your pixel using hex codes like this (#FF0000) - Regurgitator added, a strange creature that crashed into Cokko's store fleeing from the other core and vomits very rare items. - Recycle your purchased items to obtain higher rarity items in the Regurgitator (found on the second floor of the store). - It is now possible to equip double clothes, one from the story mode and one from the online mode at the same time. You can see them in the mirrors, pause menu, online popup and photo mode. As some of you already know, DEPO will receive in the future a big update that will include the online system that will allow you to play with other players.
Below, I'll tell you how the progress is going and what new things are coming....
New store - Cokko's store
In the Core Square there will be a new store, it will be located in the blue zone. In Cokko's store you will be able to buy clothes, gestures, emojis and trails for your character, you will also be able to change the color of your pixel as you wish.
These items will be stored in your online inventory linked to your Steam account, which means that they do not depend on your local save game. You will be able to trade items with other players!
Appearance of chests full of coins
To earn these coins called Cokkoins it will be necessary to perform online activities. For example, playing with players on the same level for a certain period of time earns Cokkoins.
In addition, if there are more than 3 players online in the same file, a chest will be activated. The first player to get the chest will get a lot of Cokkoins to spend in the Cokko store.
Hunt eggs hidden by other players
There will also be other activities such as egg hunting, where players will hide eggs around the level that other players will have to find in a certain amount of time. It is quite fun and challenging.
If a player finds an egg they will receive Cokkoins, but if they don't find it, the player who hid the egg will receive Cokkoins.
Online panel and exchanges with other players
Finally, to access your items, see information about players in the current level or in the rest of the levels there is a special menu for online, where you can also see your character online.
From this menu you will be able to see information about other players and offer them exchanges.
Currently the item system and egg hunting are already working properly in the early beta version uploaded on Steam for those who have purchased the coffee DLC. An update to this beta will be uploaded in the coming days which will include the new online panel, the trading system and the appearance of chests.

In the last weeks we are working on the implementation of an online system in the game. This system will allow all DEPO players to see each other and interact, at any level.
A big thank you to those players who have purchased the coffee DLCs to support the development of the game. These will be used to pay for the online servers. If you wish to participate in the beta of the online system and you have purchased a coffee DLC contact me via Steam or Discord to give you the early access key. Here is a list of information that will be of interest:
- The online system will be totally free and without any kind of payment. It will be included in the story mode of DEPO.
- Players will be able to collide with each other, but this will be disabled when performing time trials.
- Any player can see another player if they are on the same level. At the moment there is no limit to the number of players on the same level but this will be adjusted in the online tests.
- Each player keeps his own game with his own percentage, i.e. a person with a completed game can play with another who has just started.
- The introduction of cheats will only affect the person who activates them, the rest will not be affected.
- You will be able to equip your online character with new outfits and clothes. These will be obtained within the game without any kind of microtransaction.
- Each person has their own world, if you activate a button it only affects your world. The rest of the people will have the button without activating. Actually, the worlds are only shared visually.
- Each player can be in different levels. You can enter a level and your friend will remain in his until he wants to join you.
- You can see from the pause menu which players are in the current level, and a list with the number of players in other levels.
- The online mode and viewing of online player deaths can be disabled from the pause menu in a new tab.
- You will be able to see the players' names above their character.
- There will be emojis to react and communicate with the rest. There will be no text or voice chat.

New time-limited contest in celebration of the new update and online time trials.
As you know, beating the time trial world record in a level grants you a shiny crown for your character in that level.
You have until May 9 to get as many crowns as you can.
You can get as many crowns as you want (1 per level), but remember that if a player improves your time they will steal the crown on that level.
Prizes
All participants who get at least one crown will be given the role on Wave's Discord server for participating.
The player who obtains the highest number of crowns will be paid tribute in the Fitxel Zone .

NEW FEATURES ADDED:
- New core! It can be accessed from the blue area of the Core Square, a scanner has appeared.
- Online deaths system: If you play with internet connection you can see in each level the last 10 deaths of other players with the date and name (if you play from Steam).
- Online time trial: Now in each level the online world record is shown in the time trial. What are you waiting for to be number 1? In addition, if you are the world top 1 online in that level your character will get a crown.

What happens to the best levels of the contest?
The best levels will be added as sample levels in the level editor to inspire other players, so that any player who starts using the level editor can play, test and even modify your level!

What is this contest about?
Create your own character for DEPO and enter it in any level of the dark world. The best ones will be added inside DEPO and you will be able to talk to them.
Make your character with an interesting and mysterious past! A former employee of EYE.CO, a good friend or relative of one of the DEPO characters, a pixel that was kidnapped to build a SAM...? Get imaginative!
What do I have to do?
You will have to design the character from scratch, both his appearance and his personality. Give him a name and a good past.
Tell how he came to the dark world. Write 10 phrases that your character would say in the game when talking to him/her.
It is recommended that you present your character in one or several images where you expose all of the above.
What is the deadline to create my character?
You have until November 30 to participate, you can submit your character in the fanarts category on DEPO Discord (https://discord.gg/5H7uPAK) or in the Steam artworks.
What do I get if I win?
Your character will be in-game in one of the dark world levels, and you will be able to talk to him/her. These characters will be introduced in an update in December. Also your design will be introduced in the art gallery.

NEW CONTEST! IT'S TIME TO BE A REAL SPEEDRUNNER!
What does it consist of? In the Fitxel Zone, a new area has been created in honor of the fastest pixels in the System, you can participate in 4 modes: Any%: beat the story mode as fast as possible. 100%: beat the story mode 100% (all collectibles of clothes, eyes and rockets) as fast as possible. Less jumps: beat the story mode with the least number of jumps in the shortest time possible. No death: complete the story mode without dying in the shortest time possible. How to participate? You must record the game on video, upload the video to Youtube and ask for a review at: https://www.speedrun.com/depo Once your attempt is validated you will appear in the ranking. Is there a prize? The top 3 of each modality will have a statue with their name and their best time in the Fitxel Zone, and they will be able to choose the clothes they will wear on their statue! In addition, as long as you are in the top 3 of a category you will win the role of "Bill, the speedrunner" on the Discord server. How often are the in-game statues updated? Approximately every 15-30 days if there are changes in the top 3. How do I participate? Submit one or more DEPO drawings through the official Discord (discord.gg/5H7uPAK) or through the Artworks section on Steam. Will all fan artwork be added to the game? It is possible that, due to the high number of submissions, not all will be added or rotated over time. Those not related to DEPO or featuring controversial topics will not be added. What format and resolution should the fanart be in?. You can draw your illustration in any format (on paper and then scanned or directly in digital) and in any kind of resolution (horizontal, vertical, square, etc...). What can I draw? Anything you want, as long as it is related to DEPO. What's the deadline? Snakby plans to open the doors of his art gallery on September 1, 2022, so as long as you submit your fanart before that date, there should be no problem getting it added.

(Now the icons of the level entrances are holograms, some icons in the main world are holograms and others...) - The arcades already keep the records. - Visual improvements in the illumination of the start menu scenes in all their phases, now they look great! - Button cameras now show the character's clothes. - The character's clothes are now visible in the HUD as soon as the scene starts. - Day/Night change HUD now looks good in Steam Deck. - Added day 19 calendar in ingame cinematics. - Some game data is now saved on the fly avoiding the player to close the game and lose information. - Some improvements in the manual day-night system. - When making the day-night transition the player now can't pass, throw missile, move or use binoculars. - The flashlight now comes out at night in world 1 if in real life it is daytime (and it is the first time you play the game).
